How can I stop closing Firefox when I close the last Tab?

I have a little movement in my hands. When I close the last Tab, I open Firefox immediately again. But I saw at the Firefox of a friend that a new Tab could open if the last one gets closed.

I can't find it in the Options. Do I need an Addon for it?

Thank you for understanding the trouble.

Hi,

Would you please try this :

Type in the address bar about:config (press Enter) (promise to be careful, if asked)

Type in the search bar and look for the preference :

browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab

and set its value to false

Then close and restart Firefox, in order for the change to take effect.

'Hope this does the trick .....
