Less than a week ago & out of the blue, l started getting a ding & this notice: "browser.browserAction. setIicon is not a function" . The notice only shows for a second so I was very lucky to grab a screen shot, & that's the only way I could get the whole thing. Prior to that I had made no changes to Firefox in quite a while. I updated it today but it still throws the same exception. Ideas? Thanx for any help.

Hi davevet, browser.browserAction.setIcon is a command that can be used by add-ons to create their toolbar button icon. If you see it with setIicon, that looks like a typo by the add-on's author.

Could you check the Add-ons site pages for your add-ons to see if there are any comments there about this (by the author or in reviews) and possibly a workaround or advice on dealing with it?

Looked at my add-ons & one (which I didn't install) stuck out. I disabled it & problem solved. Thanx a lot for the advice.
