Middle mouse button not opening recently closed tab

Hi, With the new Firefox version, I can't seem to re-open the last closed tab by clicking on an empty space with the middle mouse button. It used to work this way and was very practical. No additional icon, no reaching for the keyboard (I know ctrl+shift+t does the same), just a click. Any clues?

Firefox doesn't and didn't had this feature builtin, so it is likely that you had a Legacy extension (Tab Mix Plus?) that provided this feature that that stopped working because only WebExtension are supported in Firefox 57+.

My only add-on that didn't make it to FF 57 is Session Manager, and I just read that it did indeed replace Tab Mix Plus for some reason. It all makes sense now, the universe and everything. Thanks for your kind help.
