youtube freezing (and semi-crashing?) on all browsers
so about 4 days ago youtube started to randomly freeze and semi-crash on all browsers i got (chrome, firefox nightly and microsoft edge.) it kind of freezes and i get this message below the url bar "a web page is slowing down your browser what do you want to do" but i have no other page open, i have refreshed, restarted and been in safe mode, but its still happening. i have also been around and trying to fix it via about:config, that people in the forums have suggested. i even reinstalled windows incase that was the issue, im not a techy person at all, but i have looked, i feel like, all over the internet and the forum(s) for answers and i have tried the majority of them, but nothing seems to work. whats also weird is that ever since i reinstalled windows, firefox seems to crash (it didnt before the reinstall) and act slower too. and as i was typing this i got a crash report (0c1aa423-b483-43b8-9a36-9c8c33d374f0)
nightly is up to date and so is chrome.
but anyways, i have added a screenshot of what it looks like... does anybody know how to fix this damn youtube freezing situation?

rafaellecuona saidProfessorPeach saidI have no idea what the heck youtube is doing again, but apparently they've set users up for a new layout (again....it happens automatically when you log in) which made ff nightly freeze, i switched back to the old youtube option, which i only just saw today............and it worked, it isnt freezing anymore and its working flawlesslyWhat and where is "the old Youtube option" please?
Just click on your profile picture on youtube and then way down, it'll say "restore old youtube" click on it. i hope it fixes your issue too!

Try : Go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Help ? --> Troubleshooting Information Page and take a look in the Accessibility section if accessibility is set to "true" there. if yes, go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions check the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser.
Also try : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I have the exact same issue and have read all there is to read and have taken all the same steps you describe but nobody seems to have a fix. This just started happening last week with the recent Firefox version release. We can hope there will be a fix in the next update.

Me too. Nobody has a clue what's going on. It's not fixable with any combination of Firefox setting adjustments. ANY!
