I have changed my default search engine, but the setting is not applied on my other devices. I have had to manually change it for each device. I have checked my Sync settings and everything is checked.

Earlier today I had to do a complete software reset on my MacBook Pro (running Sonoma 14.5). Prior to the reset, I had been running the newest version of Firefox and was signed in; I assumed that Sync was on and that it was storing my passwords and bookmarks.

After the system reset, I re-installed Firefox and signed in again, but none of my passwords or bookmarks are showing up. However, under connected services, I still see the old (pre-reset) name of my MacBook Pro, in addition to the MacBook Pro's current name.

Is it possible to retrieve my pre-reset passwords and bookmarks?

I have noticed in the help section that all sync data is removed if password is reset. I have just lost all my passwords, bookmarks, settings, everything, because I had to format my computer and didn't memorize my firefox password.

Is there any chance at all to have my data restored regardless? I understand I am at fault, but this outreach is my last hope, I guess.

Ive tried everything under the Sun to try to get rid of that Annoying ( Sign in with Google) out of my computer but nothing works ?? Is there a solution ?? I cannot open most of my Sites with it there !! Anyone Please HELP !!

My NEW M2, Windows 10 drive failed catastrophically. Am having to rebuild my system pretty much from scratch. I have the old failed, Windows 7 SATA drive. It will not boot, but the data is mostly intact and accessable. I want to sync my new Firefox install from the old, but I need help.

My workplace bans Firefox. It is not possible to install it in any way on any computer. I still use Firefox on all of my personal devices, and heavily utilize the Firefox Sync to keep my Bookmarks in sync across devices. I need to be able to access my Firefox Bookmarks somehow from my work computer, so I can at least retrieve recently bookmarked items.

I am able to log in to my Firefox Account https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/account/ and see my Firefox account details, but this does not include any of my Sync data.

How can I access the contents of my Sync data? I do not even need it to be integrated into another browser, I just need to be able to access it somehow from a computer that is not able to have Firefox installed.

I am writing to request assistance with recovering my deleted browsing history for my Firefox account. On June 18, 2024, I accidentally deleted my browsing history and I am hoping there is a way to restore it.

Hi, Since the update today to 127.0 My sidebar bookmark will not load when I open Firefox. Here is what I have done so far,

Uninstalled Firefox and use the restore on reinstall. didn't work deleted the xulstore file in 3 location. didn't work Removed Firefox using Revo Uninstaller and installed from the local setup file. didn't work Uninstalled ad-ons that used the sidebar, IE Video DownloadHelper, Sync my account, and tryed the step above again. didn't work I use Revo again and did a search for any firefox file, deleted old firefox folder on desktop and any file I could find with a link to the browser. Reinstalled from local file.

When Firefox started this time there was no profile to log in my account "" password etc "", I did a test and the sidebar was working correctly. I then activated my account and the side bar stop working on restart. Not that I did a sync after removing a few ad-ons, see pic for left addons.

Respected Sir/Mam I saved my password on Firefox but when i reset the password of my firefox account all my saved password are gone. How Do i recover all my Pass??

Is it possible to save/export (and then restoring) the home screen icons/shortcuts without using Firefox sync?

I want to save its state on my disk so I can restore it later, after formatting, for example. I don't really use any sync features and I actually don't want to sign up for yet another online service if I can help it.

Hello! I have a serious problem. I lost access to my data because I changed my password, so my data is no longer synchronized. I reinstalled my Windows, and I forgot the old password I had on that Windows. As I reinstalled, I decided to change the password because I didn't remember it, but after that I found out that synchronization doesn't work. Please help me, I had very important bookmarks that were there. Thanks in advance!

ファイアフォックス内の仕様かもしれませんが Twitter等で画像をPC内の保存してるフォルダーから貼りつける時に、メディアを押すと ファイルのアップロードが開くんですけど その際に、ダウンロードやピクチャーなどの 表示が、 (すべてのサポートされた種類)に 初めから固定されています。 (すべてのファイル)に変えてからじゃないと 表示されない画像などもあって すべてのサポートされた種類から すべてのファイルに変更しないといけない手間が かかってます。

直接PCからのエクスプローラを開いたら 全てのファイルにも出来ますが ファイアからなのか他のブラウザかTwitterでの 仕様なのかは調べてないですが もしファイアフォックス内で変更が 可能であれば教えて頂きたいです。 質問前にAIチャットで質疑応答してますが ファイアフォックス内の設定にダウンロードする際にすべてのファイルを選択肢があれば可能なども 言われましたが、そのような項目は見つからなかったです。後は、PC本体の設定から規定のアプリでのファイアフォックスのファイルの種類または規定リンクの種類を変えることも提案されましたが htmやavgfなどコード変えたりの そこまでの知識もなく弄るとPC自体おかしくなったら嫌なので出来ませんでした。

I reset Windows yesterday to attempt to fix a problem with my computer. After redownloading Firefox and signing into a few basic things (including my Mozilla account), I realised all my logins were gone. I have followed the steps in [[this tutorial|https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1310179]] but it didn't work - I think saving logins in this instance of Firefox overwrote the other logins file, as when I opened it, it only had the login info from what I logged into after I reset.

Looking at my connected services, it seems the instance of Firefox from before I reset is still open. I mention this just because it's possible that this would contribute to a solution.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I have a number of securely generated passwords and cannot access a good deal of my accounts.

I completely reseted my pc a month ago or something like that and i had a bunch of tabs that i synchronized. Today i wanted to open one of those but i couldn’t find it since they are all in the inactive folder. The thing now is i can‘t get em back anymore because the sync folder was from the reseted profile. is there a possibility to get everything back?

i just update my firefox on mac after that lost all setting, password, add on and extension. i sync multiple times, its not working.
