Hi.

Why every time i run thunderbird and if i leave it open too often it bring me the error message for all hotmail/outlook mail accounts i have???

What the heck is happening and how i can solve this?

Hello Help, I go to https://support.mozilla.org/gl/questions/1340339 as per Google's directions and find 3 Firefox Feedback items, yet no way to get to the Google's and Mozilla's standard prevalent "Go to Help and click 'Submit Feedback'," yet there is no such option for this. It's odd bc I see this:

  "2 respostas    3 have this problem     2 views"

Repostas isn't even in English, and there's no way to click a "I have this problem exact same problem" and the "Views" have to be greater than 2. I see one angry feedback was complaining there is no way to submit feedback, and the response is the standard answer. Are you talking about a different Firefox or you're, for some reason, giving the Android solution? Or perhaps you pulled 3 questions submitted via the question forum, well before more people could say they also have the same issue, and posted static copies of them. At least have the wherewithal to tell us there's no way to just submit feedback other than by the question forum. This doesn't seem like too much to ask of you where you get the chance to defend yourselves when it's required. And it seems reasonable to submit feedback so as a person gets an answer, so why not say so? Anyway, that's my peeve except for a different one I'll ask separately. Cheers, r P.S. When I try to open Thunderbird, a message pops up that says the application had a problem and crashed. It also says that the crash reporter is unable to submit a report for the crash. It then says "Details: The application did not identify itself."

What do I do to fix this?

I have a virus that posts its site on my landing page / home page.

It cannot be dismissed. I cannot find any part of its URL in Finder. Norton Antivirus doesn't detect it. It cannot be overwritten. It cannot be edited away. It CAN be moved to the fourth line of home page icons and only three lines shown, which puts it out of sight. Rebooting the machine doesn't cure it.

Can I find the listing of sites on my home page and remove it from the list?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have posted this before but have not found a solution. When I open my modem configuration page in FireFox I get one display but when I open it in Edge (which I would only use if absolutely as a last resort) I get a different but correct display. I will attach two jpg images to illustrate what I see. Notice the overlap on the FireFox image. This only occurred with a recent update in Fox.

Hi. I got a new laptop some weeks ago (Linux Fedora) and I've been using Firefox without any problems until last week. When watching Youtube videos my system shell crashes completely. This problem ONLY happens with Youtube videos and Firefox. Other browsers work fine and I don't have this problem in other websites.

Eu sou utilizador do youtube e já há muito tempo (2 anos +/-) este faz interrupções constantes de video e audio ao mesmo tempo quando tento ver algo no youtube, isto só acontece com o Firefox com o Omega não há este problema, eu queria continuar com o Firefox mas com o assunto resolvido. Obrigado

How to completely reset Thunderbird preferences except for configured accounts? I mean all visualization preferences, menus, themes, buttons, whatever. But don't touch e-mail accounts.

It is useless. I tried to restore 3953 items from a previous back up and received the message "Unable to process the backup file".

I am not interested in hearing how to prevent this problem in the future, because obviously creating backups do not work.

How do I check to see if the problem was caused by security software, even though I have not added anything?

I couldn't stop the 'need password' popups so I decided to uninstall my Hotmail account from Thunderbird and reinstall it. Unfortunately I am unable to reinstall it. When I try I get a message that the incoming server exists. I go into the advanced configuration and all ports are correct and Oauth2 authorization is selected. I changed to normal password and got the same error message. I checked and there was no outlook server under passwords on output server.

Next I opened a new outlook email and tried again. Now I get the error message 'could not get issuer for oathe authentication". I changed the authorization to normal password and got the error message 'Unable to log in at the server. Probable wrong configuration, username or password. I am sure that I am using the correct username and password.

long term user here, thanks a lot for your awesome software, absolute essential live-saver.

A few days ago, I did the update to 128.1.0esr (64-Bit) from 115 on win11. Very smooth transition, no issues with my 4 accounts, calendars etc. Great experience.

However, since the update, QuickSearch Ctrl-Shift-K filter that did instanteaneous filters on my 25k mailfolders came to griniding halt.

What happend: - Type a search term with filters on 'subject', 'from' 'to'activate freezes the app for many wall-clock seconds (5-10). Switching to another app and switching back gives me a Windows (Thunderbird not Responsive) in the title bar of the main window during that time.

What I expected: - almost instantaneus filter without noticable lag

What I tried: - deactivate, then uninstall expression search addon incompatible with 128 - restart in Troubleshoot mode with all addons disabled - reboot OS (Win11) several times - searched forums and stackoverflow for similar issues using different search term approaches and combinations

Dzień dobry, korzystam z programu Thunderbird na laptopie z systemem windows 10, 64bit po ostatniej aktualizacji programu występuje problem po uruchomieniu programu kiedy pobieram wiadomości co ciekawe tylko od jednego klienta program się blokuje , nie mogę nic zrobić do momentu pojawienia się wiadomości w folderze , po jej odczytaniu i przeniesieniu do kosza następuje taki sam problem klikając na nią żeby całkowicie usunąć program znowu się na chwilę blokuje, tak jak wspomniałem wyżej dzieje się tak tylko z odbieraniem wiadomości od jednego nadawcy i problem wystąpił po ostatniej aktualizacji, przeinstalowałem program ale bez skutku , będę wdzięczny za pomoc, maciek

LINUX. see subject, please. i started on this laptop w/ mint. 5 or 6 years ago. then downloaded peppermint 1 and has been working great, but the browser does not update automatically like is said. Then, my Linux guy up and passed away. I know no one in town that uses it. I'M ON LINUX. any help appreciated. have gotten some replies with folk trying to help, but it just wants to download/install whole program. my bank wants me to upgrade to at least 115. can't access accts. Chase are useless. They don't know what Linux is. Perhaps someone here can point me in right direction? Regards. God bless.

Whenever I click on sign in after email and password it gets stuck on same page.

I can see this happening in the Private mode but can you see on your end, if following the settings in Firefox's documentation to disable this for all windows does the form appear in non-private mode? Hmm even after setting to custom and unchecking all the boxes the form script still doesn't load.

I added https://www.psbspeakers.com as an exception too but it doesn't appear to do the trick.

As far as this goes since this is something implemented by Firefox we're not able to overrule this on our end

so now what should i do
