This app has no properties and it is being applied to a deleted desktop, I have bought three computers in the last six month and I returned them all because of Edge and google so i want hesitate to return this one also. I spend all om time trying to download apps. That do not work properly. I have no browser tools so I have no home icon or no other icons.

I know from visiting other forums that updates to Firefox have been released, but MSIX is not installing them - or even notifying me, much less asking if I want to install them. For example, Help > About Firefox shows that I am running V.129.0; yet I'm pretty sure that V.120.0.2 has been released.

Why? What can I do to ensure that I'm running the latest release?

I've restarted Firefox to see if that would work. It did not. I haven't rebooted to see if that works; but, even if it does, that seems to be a rather drastic effort to install a new version.

Since the update of Thunderbird 128.1.0esr (64-bit) it freezes every couple minutes on a profile with 3 email accounts. One - no longer used - has about 2300 emails and is kept to access old emails.

The second is my primary Gmail account with 4351 emails in Inbox and 2234 in Outbox. Inbox shows 1.2 gb and Outbox 911 mb. The freezing has caused very significant challenges with reading and sending emails due to the freezing. As it is my primary email it is extremely concerning. And I am in the middle of a couple huge projects so I am getting a lot of emails.

The third is minimal with 26 emails.

I know it is not the number of accounts in the profile as I have 4 other profiles with more accounts and none of them freeze at all. (I manage/monitor other websites and keep them all separate.)

Also as others have noted the Filter function is doing weird stuff and rarely works properly anymore.

Just attempted to install latest Firefox update and now NEITHER program can be accessed...ERROR...Platform version 129.0.2 is not compatable with minversion>=129.0.1 maxVersion<129.0.1 NOW, I CANNOT OPEN FIREFOX AT ALL and have no access to the bookmarks, anything having to do with FIREFOX Windows 10

So today I was using firefox for work with multiple tabs open, I try to open a new tab and I get this message " Restart to keep using firefox"

I have updates set to "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" And the browser was fully updated to the newest update apart from this newest one?

Every time I try to open a new tab I keep getting this message mean I was unable to save my work and lost multiple tabs ?

Can someone explain this ?

I returned from holiday to find a new version of Thunderbird running on my PC. All the old email folders going back to 2017 and all my emails prior to 14 Aug. 2024 were gone! I don't have a back up of my hard drive. Is there any way to retrieve the folders and emails? Cheers Chris

I lost my hard drive and need to load everything new. I have an older B/U copy that I would like to import all data from prior to importing my pending pop3 E-mails from Yahoo. What would be the procedure?
