A few years ago jscher2000 gave me wonderful instructions for how to create some of the features that were once easy for ordinary users like myself to control through an Extension called TabMixPlus. Apparently there was some big disagreement between the developer and Firefox and they completely disabled it. At any rate, I'm continually frustrated when I accidentally move a pinned tab to a new window while trying to move or resize Firefox. I would like to know how, in about:config, I can create a setting with which I can protect pinned tabs. Thanks.

While scrolling around I saw something that said Firefox thinks I'm operating under 'Windows 10. NOT TRUE'. I've had Windows 11 for a while now. Does it make any difference? Russ Marshall

I updated to version 129.0 and Hulu stopped streaming and news video imbedded in news articles will no longer load. I have removed and reinstalled Firefox and cleared all cache. It is affecting my desktop and laptop. Both operating systems are windows 10 64 bit. I made sure the Firefox download was 64 bit. The problem is not the websites as they will load and attempt to load content but it behaves as if it is being blocked. It is not my antivirus because I have turned is off and there is no difference.

My screen went black this morning and I couldn't get the screen to reappear. I turned the power off, then waited a minute or two before turning it back on. My usual screen with all the apps was gone and replaced by a generic "windows" screen. I had to re-enter all kinds of information and I'm finally able to see my bookmarks, but all of my documents and pictures stored on my computer are completely gone. Did Mozilla/Firefox perform an update? And if so, how do I get back to my personalized screen - and more importantly my stored documents and pictures?!!

When I try to print and use the "print to pdf" printer, the save button does nothing. I can print to my printer, but I cannot create pdf's. I am using Firefox 129.0 and Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

I have Firefox 129.0 64 bit on 2 laptops, Laptop2023 and Laptop2024. I would like Laptop2024 to match Laptop2023. If possible, would like to copy the Profile, or at least the Bookmarks. The web articles direct me to Help options which do not exist. I do not want to reset anything on the sending laptop.

I have instructions on how to copy bookmarks from years ago, but Firefox has changed so much that they no longer work. How to I copy with the current Firefox version? If possible, email bjedrick@verizon.net.

Hello, I am writing to you because there have been some problems with YouTube lately when using Firefox. The video won't buffer more than a few seconds, and sometimes I receive an error message saying, "There was an error. Try refreshing the page or try again later." I tried using Safari on my phone, and it is working just fine, so it looks like it is not my internet connection. I am using uBlock Origin and other add-ons. To troubleshoot, I followed the instructions from one of the engineers of uBlock Origin here: https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/issues/20586

He recommended reporting it to Firefox in the comments below to another user, but none of it worked for me. Therefore, I am contacting you to see if we can solve this issue. Thank you very much.

Why do the search settings revert to moderate no matter how I set them? I am using the current versions of Firefox and Duckduckgo on Windows 11. Both are set to 'off', but revert to moderate as whenever Firefox is restarted.

When I open up a website of a non-Mozilla Company Website using your Fire Fox browser----your "system" automatically loads my Login information--- my User Name and Password. What action can take be taken so your "system" doesn't do that?

I donated to AdBlock on my other computer (Firefox) had to uninstall Firefox because it opened up in a tiny window to the left of the screen so In uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and now the AdBlock is gone The payment went to their processor "Paddle" the payment is in my online bank statement

Every time I close Firefox and go on Youtube, I have to log in to my google account again just to watch something. It stays logged in while Firefox is open, but as soon as it closes it logs me out.

For two days now Gmail has been unstable on Firefox. It keeps displaying this message: "Oops - The system encountered a problem (#001)".

While in that state, the send messages folder is empty, and I can't attach documents to an email.

Google suggests clearing the browser cache and cookies. Don't want to do that - much work required to recover.
