Hi,

I have a Mac with Sonoma. Somehow a while ago I ended up with Firefox ESR, which I was told that will not be supported after September.

I am a non-technical user. While I do have Safari and Chrome, I would prefer to continue using Firefox.

Could you please let me know the steps to execute to somehow switch from the ESR version to the current normal version without loosing settings, bookmarks or ending up with problems? Thanks in advance.

Tell me how to fix the problem I described. I'm using Linux Mint Cinnamon (21.3) on my two Dell Latitude laptops (E6420 & E6430) Another question regarding the Firefox browser is how to contact a insecure web site manager that I have no telephone number for. I shouldn't end the sentence that way.

If an URL already have many tags or longish tags I can no longer see suggested tags when starting to type tags. Image example illustrates. This URL already have the following tag list:

1942, Air_Ministry, boost, cruise, memorandum, MP, rpm, Spitfire, Spitfire_MkIX, Spitfire_MkV, Spitfire_MkVI

Old behavior was if started to type ", spi" it would list suggestions:

Spitfire Spitfire_MkIX Spitfire_MkV Spitfire_MkVI

Easy & clear to select from.

Now it lists all already existing tags before each suggestion:

Suggestions are scrolled right invisible outside the input box.

Who thought this was a good new feature? It adds nothing, I can already see existing tags, why would I want to see them repeated for each new suggested tag (while not actually seeing the suggested new tag)?

How can I turn this *!$&@! off and return to old behavior?

using firefox version 109 and my internet down load manager no longer works, it works in other browsers but not since updating firefox. not sure if i was successful in posting this request prior to this one so will give it another try. thanks

I have a Dell Windows 10 computer. I have three browsers on my compute: Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome. I have an account with Clickbank.com, but I am only able to log into Clickbank using a Firefox Privacy Windows. I am not able to log into Clickbank using Firefox, Edge, or Chrome, only in the Privacy Window. I do have Malwarebytes browser guard on my computer, but I have it turned off when trying to log into Clickbank.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Hello, My Firefox would not open today.Gave XLU version error. I put a clean install as suggested by support. I think I got my bookmarks back. But my passwords are gone. This is a real drag!

Walmart.com now uses a Press & Hold link to log in. I cannot use it in Firefox 129.0.1. I have to use Chrome. Thge link is supposed to change, when you click on it, but it doesn't change in Firefox. I was using a VPN, but even when I turn it off, it still doesn't work.

I know crypto is about to take off and is here to stay. We have web extensions for our users on Chrome but none for firefox bc you all don't support WebUSB. Can you fix this? We all want to fire chrome into the Ocean but cannot.

I have Firefox 129.0 64 bit on 2 laptops, Laptop2023 and Laptop2024. I would like Laptop2024 to match Laptop2023. If possible, would like to copy the Profile, or at least the Bookmarks. The web articles direct me to Help options which do not exist. I do not want to reset anything on the sending laptop.

I have instructions on how to copy bookmarks from years ago, but Firefox has changed so much that they no longer work. How to I copy with the current Firefox version? If possible, email bjedrick@verizon.net.

I'm having a the XULRunner error. It says that Platform version "129.0.1" is not compatible with min ad max version. I read that to solve it you need to reinstall. But I don't want to loose saved passwords, bookmaks and other stuff... How can I do it?

Sometimes it happens that an input field on a page in an IFRAME cannot be clicked. The buttons work, but you can't enter anything in the text field.

Only when I press in the address bar and then in the text field, now I can enter text in the text field.

I go on the https://www.medicare.gov website to look at Medicare claims. I get an email from them when there are new summary notices and I click on the link to view them. So I went back to the original list, right clicked "open" and clicked to open in a new tab and got the same error. As I was writing this just now I noticed that the error message says you need to open it in a new window, so I just tried that instead of a new tab, but I still got the same error message.

Interestingly, I thought I'd check clicking "download" just to make sure I could get my new notices. That opened a new tab and the notice came up!! Now I'm sitting here trying to remember if I used to click "open" or "download" and feeling like this computer drives me crazier and crazier every day I use it!

I am submitting this anyway for two reasons. First of all, if I'm confused other people are probably also confused. Secondly, I want to know if there's anything wrong on my end that I should be fixing or if this is a problem on Medicare's end. Obviously I want to let them know if it's their problem so that it can be fixed.

I just got a notice about a Firefox update but I haven't installed it yet and I haven't tried this in any other browser (I really hate using Chrome, especially for something as private as Medicare, but if that will help you please let me know and I can try it there).

One other thing that may or may not be relevant. I've had my Social Security and Medicare accounts for many years. Recently I received a notice from Social Security that they're upgrading to a more secure login system (sorry I've forgotten exactly what they call it) and said that if you're using an older account you have to create a new login with their new site and it would work across your federal government accounts. I did that but Medicare used my old login information and it worked. I don't know if that would be causing this problem, I don't think they've terminated the old system altogether just yet but I'm not sure. This probably doesn't make a difference but I thought I should mention it just in case.

I created a Password Generator add-on two days ago. Interestingly, it was approved, but when I added it to my Firefox extensions list, it’s not working. However, it works perfectly fine locally when I use it directly from my files. Could you help me understand what the issue might be? If there was an error or something wrong, why did it get approved?
