Yesterdays update of Thunderbird seems to have crashed my Thunderbird and all it's saved info. How do I restore it and I searched my hard drive and can't locate the .exe file?

One of the Firefox profiles does not save logins and passwords, but other profiles of the browser at that same computer have not that problem. How can I solve this problem ?

Version 129 is not printing headers and footers, despite manually checking the "print headers and footers" box in the print dialog (and despite making Page Setup visible via about:config). This persists in the preview, when printing to PDFs, and when printing to physical printers. This is new behavior to me since some time in the 128 series (the last time I tried to print a webpage showing the URL and date/time).

I have manually reset all print_h... and print_f... entries to default, but that didn't help either.

After 129.0 update hulu streaming quit working. I have other streaming services that still work fine. I tried it on older version of firefox 115.14.0esr (64bit) (old pc microsoft 8.1) and it works fine there. Can i go back to an older version of firefox or is this a known issue with update?

 This is the issue, Hulu website loads and allows you to log in. When you try to stream a show it plays commercial then freezes.

I have a new computer ... I like using Firefox as a browser but continue to have issues logging into Facebook...I have opted to use Chrome as I do not have issues using it.. When is Mozilla/Firefox going to address this issue & finally fix it??

when I try to use face book messenger for video calling I receive the message "video calling is not supported by this browser" I have never had this problem before I agreed to Firefox as my default browser. Is Firefox not compatible with face book?

I've been having problems with my PC, so I decided to reset Windows to see if it would help. I was able to restore my old bookmarks but I can't for some reason find a way to restore my old tabs. Any help would be appreciated!

What is wrong and how do I correct it?

As noted by others about recently-prior versions of Firefox, version 129 ALSO fails to play videos (on Amazon Prime) at HD even though other browsers, Chrome and Edge as examples, work perfectly well. This problem MAY have started with a fairly recent version of Firefox (like 127 or 128). See the post right here by another user, earlier Firefox version, with the EXACT same problem:

Been an issue for a while now. I try to start a YouTube video, and it spins and spins forever, maybe only loading the first 15 seconds before finally crashing the player. Twitch and other video service websites work perfectly fine. Tried a different browser, again worked perfectly fine. I erased all cookies, relogged in and tried, and it seemed to work for a little while, but then it eventually went right back to the way it was. Tried repeating the process, just deleting all YouTube cookies every time I wanted to watch something, and while it worked occasionally it was very inconsistent and obviously very annoying to have to do. Tried disabling ad and malware blockers, as well as all my other extensions, no dice. Needless to say, I'm stumped. Any clues..?

i have a problem when trying to open a web page called nakos.no, but because of somthing called nginx it wont open.

How do i fix it?

A couple of websites in Firefox just wont scroll down at all, hence I cannot access all the information or links. zooming out helps partially but not convenient. how can I fix this please? I already turned off and then back on the hardware acceleration option that was offered to someone as a solution. The same site works perfectly fine in Chrome.

Another issue, i tend to notice more frequently in comparison but still very rare is where the whole site is greyed out or no buttons or links work. Possibly because you must click on accept or some button/link that I am unable to see or access despite all efforts. so, you give up!

Since my last update (using ver 129), I can no longer switch to an alternate search engine from the list on the menu bar. My alternates are there but nothing happens when I select one.

I use Firefox as my primary browser for several reasons, but the main one is because it has the best Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature. However, I no longer use Windows and have encountered problems with it on various Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian...). Currently, I'm only using Fedora 40, and the problem persists.

The issue is that when I click on the PiP icon, it activates normally, but when I switch windows or minimize and then maximize Firefox again, the video disappears.

I will attach some screenshots to clarify the issue.

I would like to know if there is any way to resolve this. I’ve already reset the settings, cleared the cache, and tested different installation methods (software store, .tar.bz file, apt, dnf, snap). I’ve tried troubleshooting mode and even installed the Developer Edition, but the problem persists. I’m wondering if this is an issue with the Linux version of Firefox.

This isn't a question, its a complaint.

The performance of Firefox with upload speed is TERRIBLE! I have multiple computers, all with Windows OS's and Firefox installed as the main browser. Each of them report back lower than actual upload speed.

Other browsers like Edge, chrome, and a CLI tool on linux all report my actual download/upload speeds.

I have tried the various about:config and profile changes as a work around that I found here and alsewhere, none of them work.

I cannot utilize the sign in to sync function. I try to sign in and no matter if it recognizes my email from logging on to the Mozilla.com site as soon as I get directed to the browser log in when I submit my email or password the page gets stuck and does not show any loading or error message at any point.

Why does PG&E (Pacific Gas & Electric) now refuse to accept login's to their website using Firefox? They claim that they no longer accept Firefox as a supported browser. Gotta use Microsoft Edge (ughh)
