Push notification banner from YouTube stays on desktop without closing after 5 seconds. Why? Windows 10 never had this issue. With Windows 11, it worked after a clean install and then it stopped. Why? I checked all settings within Windows.

Settings / Accessibility / Visual effects (ON) / Dismiss Notification after this time amount (5 Seconds) / Notifications checked (ON).

The notification banner hangs and never closes. Google search tells us how to enable and disable. IT HAS NOTHING FOR CLOSING BANNER AFTER 5 SECONDS.

Firefox does not allow me to post comments on New York Post. The comment section says I must log in to post, but I am already logged in. I can log out and log back in again, but still not allowed to post as it says I need to log in. When I change browsers there is no difficulty posting after logging in. What setting on Firefox is preventing me from posting on NY Post?

Every time I use the browser, I am delayed by : p.typekit.net for a little while before I get results. Why? Can this be removed from the search or browser? I can use a book mark and I get the same hang up on p.typekit.net EVERY time. It slows the browser quite a bit. I have used Firefox for over a decade and would like to keep using it. If you can't fix or can direct me how to fix I need to change browsers because the browser lag is getting stupid. Please help.

This app has no properties and it is being applied to a deleted desktop, I have bought three computers in the last six month and I returned them all because of Edge and google so i want hesitate to return this one also. I spend all om time trying to download apps. That do not work properly. I have no browser tools so I have no home icon or no other icons.

Restore gadget screen width to default 1/3 of screen, not 1/2. Gadgets are now too wide for easy reading, they were always 1/3 of the screen until recently. Did I inadvertently make that change, or was it part of some update?

This issue is happening with every newly installed add-on, but not with add-ons installed on or before Aug 3, 2024. The add-ons are installed via addons.mozilla.org. To rule out the possibility that it's happening only with specific add-ons, I also installed one of the random recommendations on that page, Augmented Steam which has 54,248 users, and it happens with that one as well.

I'll click Enable, but the prompt appears every time I restart Firefox.

What I've tried (with a restart after each attempt):

• Clear the startup cache
• Delete extensions.json
• Delete compatibility.ini
• Via about:config deleted extensions.databaseSchema and extensions.getAddons.databaseSchema
• Excluded Add-ons from syncing

I've noticed the following in extensions.json for each of the recent add-ons after restart:

• syncGUID changes to presumably random new value
• active changes from true to false
• userDisabled changes from false to true
• seen changes from true to false

Recently I cleared my Firefox browser history. After doing that, I can no longer sign into Amazon.com website. What am I doing wrong? Here is the message I'm getting:

Today, Firefox stopped playing audio on Facebook videos and won't play Netflix videos at all (Netflix error code: F7701-1003). Youtube works fine and has audio, but several other video sites I've tried have video but no audio. It was all working fine yesterday and I haven't changed any settings.

These websites work fine with both audio and sound on Microsoft Edge on the same laptop, so this is a problem exclusive to Firefox. OS is Windows 11 Home 23H2, Firefox is latest version (129.0.2)

Things I've tried: 1. Refresh Firefox settings 2. Download and install fresh copy of Firefox 3. Toggle DRM content in setting on/off - no difference no matter what is selected 4. Ensure that 'remember history' is selected 5. Check for Windows updates 6. Uninstall audio driver, restart and fresh install of audio driver 7. Ensure it's not in private mode 8. Turn off all extensions 9. Check volume mixer allows sound for Firefox 10. Clear the cache and cookies

I can't find any more suggestions on the internet, so any further suggestions welcome!

Videos from S3 buckets directly downloading from firefox browser instead of open in browser itself. Is there any changes to be done in AWS account or it is an issue with new release?

on X11 it does not seem to be possible to copy gifs from firefox.

When copying a gif the "TARGETS" conversion only gives the following atoms:

   text/ico
   image/jpeg
   image/tiff

   image/jxl

When trying to convert to "image/gif" the conversion fails. (I am requesting conversion from the CLIPBOARD atom)

I have the usual ads appearing in gmail, but when I click on them they do not appear. I have checked that Javascript is enabled, and the default cookies are active.
