I am using AOL as an email account. Many times I am looking at my email, clicking delete or spam, then maybe open one/two/three different emails, read them, delete or save, and my whole system freezes. I have to turn off the pc, then logon. I then open CC Cleaner to clear out the issues only to find that there could be 5000+ items in my browser history, a few hundred cookies all in that short period of time - 3 minutes all this stuff clogs up my computer. CC Cleaner will remove all this junk. I then open up Firefox, get into AOL, start another session. Could be I am able to continue to read my emails for a short period or a long period of time, just reading email, then the computer freezes up again. I have to turn off the machine, turn it back on, get into CC Cleaner and clear out the 5000+ browsing history items and cookies. There is no way that I can capture this CC Cleaner Screen information.

One thing that I thought about is that AOL is spamming me with thousands of junk ads, flashing in and out, on the right side of the screen as I read my email or even just open AOL. Since Yahoo took over AOL and redid AOL in the image of Yahoo, things are a horror. I made a formal complaint with the Ad Agency (forgot the name), opted out of all the ads that I am allowed to opt out and nothing gets better. The Ad Agency is of no help. Does anyone have an idea what is going on / what I can do to stop this?

Recently became unable to update Spybot and Malwarebytes. Ran Windows Defender which didn't find anything but when I run ClamWinPortable, it produced and moved the file to quarantine. This makes Firefox unusable. Reinstalled Firefox via another browser and the same thing happens. Do you have any suggestions please?

Yesterday firefox private window comes up on my browser...I do NOT want that, how to get rid of it?? My desktop is set up with menus for quick reference; I cannot get past this private window

Very recently Firefox just stopped displaying the date/time stamp on Facebook on a PC. Nothing has changed on my end. One day it worked, next day it didn't. I am using the latest version of Firefox (115.111.0.esr). I manage several pages and I need to see when people have posted. This is so annoying that I will likely switch everything to a new browser if this can't get fixed. Upon looking this up, I see this is a known issue. Please help. You can see in the attached posts how all posts appear with no date.

Shoot!! I just filled this out, and somehow, it reverted me back to This screen again!! I am not a programmer or IT Guy. What I am is a person that is Very alert to sudden changes in my experiences. I retired 14 years ago, as a Manager in a Manufacturing industry. Very familiar using desktop. For some reason, about a couple weeks ago, some of my sites have begun using google adds, over and over. When I click on the "X", wants to know why, etc. I use Malware Bytes, scans every day. Does NOT discover any malware, but I KNOW something has changed to allow the bombardment! Is it possible it's just a single site that I had to change and log in to? Even if so, WHY doesn't Malware stop them? Should I try a system restore to weeks ago? I am on here Every day.so I'm pretty cognizant of changes! ADVICE PLEASE!! Bruce Pierce

Recently Firefox stopped displaying the time/date stamp on Facebook posts. Works fine in other browsers. Doing some research, it seems like this was an issue previously. Wish Firefox could fix this on their end. What to do in the meantime?

Hyatt.com can be loaded on other browsers but not on Firefox. There is just a blank page with no error message. There is an archived thread on support.mozilla.or called "hyatt.com". The suggested solutions don't work or are too complicated. So please solve the problem. And STOP archiving threads that are still an unsolved problem! Am using Win8.1 and auto-updating Firefox.

I like using Firefox browser every day. After installing and running Avast antivirus protection (program version : 24.3.6108 (build 24.3.8975.832)), Avast notification always show this message every time I start up Firefox : please check the uploaded images : FPA Scam.jpg.

I already checked the extenstion, the Settings, and the Advance Settings of Firefox browser. I'd like to know if there is any parameter related to engine.forexpeacearmy.com and it is enabled. Unfortunately, I can't found any related parameters.

So, I decide to contact Firefox support to find out what happen to my Firefox browser, why it always call the forexpeacearmy site at the start up, and finally I want to remove it. Because I'm affraid it could be some kind of trojans / malwares and put my laptop into risks.

I get the following message when going online with Firefox: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I've followed all the prompts to restart the computer, refresh the computer, delete the favicons.sqlite and places.sqlite and it won't allow me to delete them. This happened yesterday as well. Yesterday I could delete those files and everything was restored. But today I can't get it to work.

Firefox autoprints Microsoft Word and Excel documents despite setting otherwise.

about:config print.always_print_silent is now set to false. (was somehow set to true). After I set to false and reboot, same behavior occurs. I verified that same behavior does not occur in other browser.

My firefox browser stopped working today. It will not load any website. It just sits there and the dot just goes back and forth. It worked fine yesterday. 3-2-2024. My email is randrcv@sti.net.

For the last couple of months I have been getting frequent (not always) hangs on exiting Firefox. Sometimes get the windows message of not enough threads. Sometimes goes to "Firefox is not responding". Always have to reboot to clear.

Whenever i attempt to save my passwords or login, it will not be saved in the browser. It will also prompt me to enter in my primary password to view saved logins which are still not saved in the browser. I have enabled autofill on the account but the issue continues to happen.

Since Thunderbird 115.6.1 was installed files disappear when I move them to an Archive or Draft folder. How can I fix this and how can I recover those files from the server?
