Hi!

First of all, mods, if I chose the wrong category and this had to go in "customize settings and preferences" feel free to move it :)

So, for several reasons I decided to completely disable SSL and the old TLS 1.0 and 1.1. I still didn't decide if TLS 1.2 is still important or it's enough with 1.3 so for now I am leaving them both. I did this system wide, with PowerShell, following the instructions in THIS THIS article.

But then there's Firefox. I don't know if Firefox can establish SSL (or old TLS) connections despite the system "ban". But I came across THIS THIS article about how to enable TLS 1.3 in Firefox and when I went in about:config and I typed "security" I saw that there are a lot of voices with SSL and a lot more about TLS than just the security.tls.version.max mentioned in that article, so I am here to ask you what to do to be 1000% sure that all SSL and older TLS are completely disabled in Firefox, and that only TLS 1.3 is enabled.

If you have reasons to believe that disabling TLS 1.2 is not a good idea, let me know, but in THIS THIS article I've read that 1.3 is much better and it's anyway backwards compatible with 1.2 in case some server only supports 1.2, so I decided to leave only 1.3.

Long ago I developed muscle memory to type in the main part of a website domain and complete it with Ctrl-Enter in the address bar.

That supposedly adds the www. prefix at the beginning and .com at the end.

Works great except that it seems to append "http:// to the beginning. That often results in a warning that I'm trying to go to an insecure domain.

How can I modify this behavior to append "httpS://" to the beginning to avoid all of these warnings?

I have been running into issues if Firefox affecting other programs. One example - closing a game from the big fish game manager. Normal termination of the game hangs up. Closing firefox, usually via the windows task manager, frees up the game manager and the game properly terminates. However, before having task manager close firefox, I see a number anywhere from 6 to 12 or more - firefox(10) for example - trying to re-launch firefox gets an endless round of messages about firefox not responding and a request to close firefox. So far I have only found one effective workaround to this issue. Booting into safe mode and clearing temp and prefetch. This usually holds but I have been seeing this every day for the last 4 days. What is going on and how do I fix it?

I am unable to login to Spectrum.net. I was able to login until a couple of days ago. I can login through Edge but I don't want to use Edge. I contacted Spectrum and since I can log in through edge they say it is a browser problem.

This is what sows when i try to get newsmax.com I tired newsmax.com but get the same message as below.

I always been able to connect w/newsmax.com - until now. When it does not connect tells me to contact that site. Well... I tried and I can not get in to let them know. How do I fix this problem? Thank you in advance for your assistance and reply. Sandra

I was trying to put a shortcut for Firefox onto my desktop and can't seem to find where the files for the browser are located. I have tried looking up where it could be online and all the answers I have found have been wrong. Please help.

When I try to open Facebook using Firefox, I get the following message:

We're working on getting this fixed as soon as we can.

When using Chrome or Bing I can access Facebook.

Hello, recently I switched to this browser from another browser for some specific reason and I noticed that dropdown menu is way too big compared to my previous browser. Is there any way to fix it and make it more compact? To better explain you what I mean, see those screenshots: First screenshot is on Firefox, second screenshot with exact webpage is on Vivaldi browser. You can see vast difference how compact is Vivaldi dropdown menu compared to Firefox.

Couple a days ago jetblue.com website stopped working. When I login to it, yhr whole website is greyed out and doesn't respond to anuthing. Elvart

Had to complete reset my PC after a bad hardware issue, everything completely wiped but I managed to get the older key4 and logins.json folders, unfortnately their encrypted... Is there anyway to sync them back up? So I can import all the passwords back onto my profile.

I know from visiting other forums that updates to Firefox have been released, but MSIX is not installing them - or even notifying me, much less asking if I want to install them. For example, Help > About Firefox shows that I am running V.129.0; yet I'm pretty sure that V.120.0.2 has been released.

Why? What can I do to ensure that I'm running the latest release?

I've restarted Firefox to see if that would work. It did not. I haven't rebooted to see if that works; but, even if it does, that seems to be a rather drastic effort to install a new version.

Every time I use the browser, I am delayed by : p.typekit.net for a little while before I get results. Why? Can this be removed from the search or browser? I can use a book mark and I get the same hang up on p.typekit.net EVERY time. It slows the browser quite a bit. I have used Firefox for over a decade and would like to keep using it. If you can't fix or can direct me how to fix I need to change browsers because the browser lag is getting stupid. Please help.
