For weeks now I have been unable to sign into Microsoft.com to get support help through chat or receive a call back. These can only be achieved by signing in. The only Microsoft product that I can use is my Outlook mail app, which I have been able to sign into. But this is not connected with Mozilla Firefox. There is no other way that I know of to contact Microsoft. I've tried signing in on Microsoft Edge as well, I get an error message there as well. Since this problem started with trying to sign in on Mozilla Firefox, I assume this is where the issue was created. If I cannot sign into Microsoft.com, I am locked out of getting any help resolving this issue. There is no other way to reach Microsoft. The phone number they has no live person, only a robot which will answer questions only and then hang up.

Can someone here at Mozilla, please help me????

To help keep your account secure, Microsoft will no longer support the use of third-party email and calendar apps which ask you to sign in with only your Microsoft Account username and password. To keep you safe you will need to use a mail or calendar app which supports Microsoft’s modern authentication methods. If you do not act, your third-party email apps will no longer be able to access your Outlook.com, Hotmail or Live.com email address on September 16th. '

I have tried installing free Outlook but it does not allow me transfer all my local folders (I have many) with all my history and information.

Is an update to Firefox due that will support this new modern authentication process or do I loose all my local folders?

Hi, I have windows 10 desktop,,,, I use Microsoft Edge and Firefox but firefox is my default browser... I use Tagged and HI5 often.. My problem is ads on tagged and HI5 (Both are sister companies? I get ads but no way of blocking them I have just tried all kinds of adblockers on firefox just waste of time... But the worst thing is those ad's that tagged display all infected... I use Norton and Malwarebyts when I click on the ad's they both come on asking me to stay away all their ad's are infected... I have sent 5 emails to Tagged telling them what is going on but I had no reply at all negative or positive and they are infecting peoples computers or mobiles if they are not using Antivirus.... Ad's are always on when I use firefox but but when I use Microsoft Edge no ad's somehow but Microsoft Edge is much slower then Firefox,, when I click on to something it goes round and round and says Hang tight....What should I use on firefox to stop those Tagged ads..On tagged settings ads section has been unchecked but nothing stops them from popping up even the adblockers that I have...But only on firefox... Help help please to stop this unpleasant ads... Please find attached 3 screenshots of those ads...only 3 ads but much more we get ... God bless and thank you for your help on this matter... Charles

I installed mozilla firefox on my desktop computer 5 years ago At the time, my email address was davsue@myfairpoint.net This email no longer exists my new email address is davsue123@gmail.com I signed out of firefox I want to sign in again It sends me a confirmation email to davsue@myfairpoint.net that doesn't exist Can't retrieve the email to verify my account Now what? haven't been able to set davsue123@gmail.com as a secondary email

I need to change my email address as my provider is closing down. I have seen the suggestion that I make a secondary with my new address but this will nor work as I have the secondary address with the same provider.

For about the past week I've been having trouble with Gmail and Google Search in my Firefox browser. Typically, I open a Firefox window with multiple tabs and leave the window open all day. I always have Gmail and Google Calendar open in tabs. What happens is that the Gmail tab will at some point give me a message that it cannot connect and has timed out and is trying to reload, but it never reloads, it just stalls. Then I try to open a Google search bookmark to search and the tab remains blank. This happens multiple times throughout the day. Meanwhile I can open Gmail or any Google page in Chrome, which I don't like using.

Sometimes I can close out the Gmail tab that won't load and try to open Gmail in a new tab, but that stalls out too. The only way I can open Gmail again is to close out the Firefox window completely and then relaunch it, then it can open Gmail or Google... until it breaks again.

This never used to happen. I'm using the latest versions of Windows 10 and Firefox on my desktop PC. Nothing else has changed.

Please help me fix this, it's very annoying.

I recently learned Windows 10 support is going to stop in October 2025. I converted my Windows 10 to Windows 11 a little too early. The options I had was to 'keep everything I have' or manually select what I wanted to keep. Obviously I wanted to keep everything that I have so I selected to keep everything I have.

Windows 11 did a number on my computer. I think it fried my dual band bluetooth usb adapter, deleted saved email messages that included important passwords, and deleted all of my bookmarks that I had when I was using Windows 10 in one swoop.

For the past three days I've been trying to get what I had in Windows 10 back to Windows 11. I was able to replace some things but I seem to can't replace my old bookmarks. It has my job's link on there. I can't access my job through their horrible app but I can access my job online and no longer can do that. Even my history for the past month is gone. I thought I could access both my job points from there but it seems like the day I converted to Windows 11 deleted crucial things. Everything else is there.

Is there a way that I could retrieve my old bookmarks? I did the restore option but it only have 2 days which is the day I converted my computer but as I said, some things magically disappeared and I need those items back.

For a long time Ive been reading my newspaper in the browser but recently I noticed that the resolution has been changed text is blurry and images unclear. If I download the file and read it with ADOBE PDF Reader it is as normal, sharp. I guess there is a setting that has change with one of the resent updates but I cant find it :(

I cant say when the resolution changed but it was round New Year / Christmas ....

I have auto update on.

There are two images here the one in green is Firefox the other in Chrome.

One of these is loading correctly and one is trashing the image layout.

It is something that Firefox is doing to the images...

CSS and or Styles tell Firefox what to do and Firefox is not doing it???

What can I do to render these in Firefox the way Chrome renders them?

Mozilla is great at pushing out every possible new update, no matter how trivial. Every time it does, I have to reset everything.

I've been doing this since Firefox 6. I've learned to store all my about:config tweaks in a file so I can quickly copy, paste and reset them on each update. I've included the various program settings I want, too, so I don't have to think and try to remember what each one means and what I want. I use userChrome.css to set some of my display settings, but I'm not very familiar with it.

Is there some script, program, add-on, or other method to convert this time intensive restoration of my settings every month or so for all the new updates. I'd love to find some form of a "registry.reg" type file that would work on Firefox and/or Thunderbird.

If there's something out there, I'm positive a LOT of others would want it, too.

I'm running Fire fox 128.0.3 in order to watch a You tube video I have to set the playback speed to 0.95. The default value of 1 causes the video to go into fast forward mode with no sound. Unfortunately this value is not persistent and has to be reset each time I open a you tube video in fire fox

Hi, i downloaded the browser like an hour ago because the youtube ads are annoying and i found a "Your browser is being managed by your organization." thingie on chrome, which led me to a virus (found with kasperky), ran windows defender and malwarebytes afterwards, nothing came up.

And so i thought all was good. I wanted to enable autoplay on youtube videos and when i was looking for that option in the settings i noticed this on the left corner again (added images).

Found a post in 2023 about the same thing but it doesn't answer nor help.

when i try to print list of names of removed and in progress only the cover of reolved items does not print details. list is needed to compare to info on experian which azppears to differ with mozilla you show below wsindows 10 i am on windows 11

I am trying to remove a shortcut off of my Firefox homepage. I have been trying everyday of what I can do, clicking "Dismiss" or "Delete from History" will not do anything. I am trying to find out what other ways can help, but so far, none seem to help for now. I haven't been on the website because I didn't need to anymore. I have been looking for ways, but they seem to not help me at all. Is there anyway I can get rid of it please? Please let me know.

I am using 'search:query=seattle&crumb=location:C%3A%5CMyFolder' such query to search in my local indexed files on my windows using firefox 124.xx versions and also all the other browser supports this , after the update to 128.0.3 , this stopped working , Is there any setting to do so that it would start working back. reference link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/win.../search-protocol

Microsoft search Protocol works fine in older versions now it didnt , Any new update stopped this?
