Is there a way to open many pages quickly from history?

Whenever I'm in history and I open a page, the history window closes. In order to open another page from the history I need to go back to menu > history, search through history again, and go from there. I want to open like 5 tabs real quick, as I imagine it 5 quick middle clicks in the history window without the history window closing. Is there any preference for this or extension?

Hi there, I have installed Fedora on a desktop and CAElinux on a laptop. In the laptop I have Thunderbird and for a while or subfolders were there. On the desktop I decided to try Kmail and all the subfolders disappear which most likely is because i didn't know much about Kmail. Then I tried using Thunderbird on the desktop with the same settings that where working on the laptop and the subfolders dissapear. Then I turned on the laptop while the desktop was on with Thunderbird on, and when i started Thunderbird on the laptop, the subfolders disappeared. Seems like a domino effect. Now all the email are shown in one big list, but only this years emails are shown. If I open the email on the internet through the email provider all the subfolders are still there. Now I have removed Fedora from the desktop and installed an identical setup as the laptop. I don't want to start Thunderbird on the desktop until i have recovered the subfoders and emails in the laptop and I know that I am following the right path. By the way the desktop is dual boot Windows / Linux and if I start Thunderbird under Windows all the subfolders and emails are there. Could someone please tell me how to recover the subfolders and emails running Thunderbird under Linux , thanks.

Hi Why is it everytime I download something it has to open in the Firefox browser to view? And why is this happening when I scan to my computer? I want things saved to my computer, like documents and scanned information?

I use this 2 websites almost on a daily basis: www.saij.gob.ar and www.cij.gov.ar. They are official government websites that contain information about the laws and jurisprudence of my country. Since about last friday, whenever I access any page on those websites they don't display all the information they are supposed to. In the case of saij.gob.ar pages only show the header, but not the full text of the law. In the case of cij.gov.ar/sentencias.html when I try to download a court ruling I get a 0kb file. I thought it was an issue with the websites, but it turns out I can access them just fine from my phone using Chrome. I can even access them on the same pc, using Firefox private browser mode. It seems to be an issue with the "regular" version of the browser. This is a big deal to me, because I need to use those websites for work.

Notice how small the scrollbar is in the second image, because there's a lot more content on the exact same page. Before you ask: I already tried accessing the website on "troubleshooting mode", it keeps displaying it wrong.

Deleting emails is super slow. How can I speed it up? I am on Windows 11, TB 128.1.1esr. This is excruciating! My connection is good, see my speedtest. This recently started happening, and I need a solution. Chris

I'm trying to use a security key for my Vanguard site. I've tried with Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Chrome. I can get to almost the end but get stopped-- I can't get no father to "connect and activate." I get a message saying--"Vanguard is requesting extended information about your security key which may affect your privacy. Firefox can anonymize this for you but the website might decline this key. If declined try again." I talked to Vanguard for help but they didn't know how to help. The key is uTrust FIDO2 NFC. USB-A NFC Certified Security Key. I believe the problem may be that this key will link all my accounts in Firefox ( and will also link if I use any other browser.)

Using an authenticator for one account is safe, but allowing a website to ask for extended information for multiple accounts using the same authenticator can permit that website to identify a link between those accounts. If you are concerned about having accounts linked together in this way, you should either deny extended information when prompted, or use different authenticators for the different accounts. This linkability is based on the authenticators, and not on your browser. If you use the same authenticator with different browsers, websites can still identify a link between multiple accounts. I have added (as a start) some web shortcuts to my Firefox Focus home screen. However, they are cut off, so I can only see the top part of the label. I can work out what they are but what happens when I add more shortcuts? How can I see the whole shortcut and label, please? I'm using Android version 14.

The folders and address lists exist in .thunderbird/5sdfwbvt.default /Mail/Local Folders

and in  .thunderbird/5sdfwbvt.default/storage/abook/mab  and abook/sqlite

How can I get thunderbird to access these resources??

I updated to Firefox 115.14 on my Mac and ALL of my Norton extensions including my NORTON PASSWORD MANAGER AND I WANT THAT BACK or else I want to REVERT to the older version of Firefox. This has really screwed me up and I don't appreciate it at all! The update also blew out all of my extensions...EVERYONE OF THEM. I'm really UPSET at this!!!!!!

I have two email accounts in thunderbird on windows 11. I want to remove and revert to saved passwords for my inbound and outbound servers. However when I either click on primary password a pop up says enter you current password which is not accepted. If I go to change primary password and enter current password and leave new password bland I get messsge saying currrnt password not correct. Meanwhile I am not getting any new messsges but open messages still appear in both accounts. Can you help me to revert to using saved PW’s?

Many years ago I had someone set up a Thunderbird email account on my PC which has worked just fine until recently when a Xfinity customer service agent advised me to clear my computer's cache. And, since the account was set up so long ago I can't remember the password so can't input that when the system asks me to do that. Hence, no more email, can't receive and can't send. I'm hoping someone can guide me and it's an easy fix because on a computer literacy 1-10 scale, I'm 2.5.

Can I stop the popup warning about sending emails to group with all emails in the TO: field. I've been communicating this way with an open email list for decades, and the popup is very annoying.

When my Thunderbird was hanging, I decided to reload the program. All my previous emails and addresses were gone. When I tried to input an earlier profile, I received an error message. The error console did not explain the problem. My lost emails are somewhere resident on my hard drive, but I don't know how to get to them.

I have been receiving emails from "How to Geek" for many years. Now Thunderbird moves these emails to the Junk folder. I have already added & added again the email address to my contacts but it makes no difference.

I use Mozilla Firefox for work. Part of my work requires I use the GlobalProtect VPN client. When I log on to the VPN, everything appears to be fine. The problem arises when I log out of the VPN client, such as needing to switch to a different VPN.

When I log out of the VPN client, Mozilla slows down massively. I get the following errors when trying to access websites.

I thought it was a DNS issue, but the change I made previously did not prove to be a reliable fix, and I do not actually know the root cause of what is happening. Firefox returns to normal ONLY after a full computer restart. At this point I am considering switching browsers as, despite Firefox's functionality, it is starting to interfere with my work.

I have used other VPNs, such as Fortigate VPN, and not encountered anything like this.

Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.

I appreciated how easy it was to restore my bookmarks, but I also discovered another problem in the process. When I went to sort my bookmarks by name, it sorted but added in a gazillion bookmarks that had been deleted many years ago. I have no idea how or why this is happening. Again, I need help. This was, of course, what happened when I asked for help previously. Somehow the sorting (by Name) has been corrupted.

If this has been asked previously, my sincerest apologies. I couldn't find the answer. I have been an user of Thunderbird for personal and work email clients for roughly 2+ decades now. But I am stumped with recent behavior coming from thunderbird (mozilla email) for my private, professional email account. And I'm not a techie. I usually allow both Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird update automatically. And typically, there has been no issues other than to update/remove an add-in.

However, starting at around the end of July or beg of August, I have been seeing the following behavior: At certain points of the day including at startup, I get a set of pop-up windows from Thunderbird asking for access to my google account. I don't understand why thunderbird would want me to provide my google credentials when the email account that I'm using thunderbird for is neither an exchange (outlook.com or live.com) or my gmail.com account. It's my professional email address that is hosted by a third party. And when I click the deny button on both windows, it still pops up at some point during the day. It was annoying as 'heck' when I was with a client as it kept popping up. Don't know what I've done but I would like to know how to stop this popup window activity! I'll also add that if I close down thunderbird and then restart, the windows pop up almost instantly. So, any help would be welcome! I've attached screenshots of both windows with my email addresses highlighted out so anyone can see what I'm dealing with.
