For the last several weeks (can't give an exact date, but it's been more than just a couple weeks, less than a couple months), both my husband and I have had issues loading videos in FF. We both have the latest version of FF. I went thru "Fix common audio and video issues" and did all those things, as well as trying to load the videos in troubleshooting mode. Nothing has helped (tho now that i cleared all the cache, i'm gonna have to log back into all those websites :( ). Nothing else is problematic. Our internet connection is fine. In fact, my husband has resorted to using MS browser to watch videos--they load fine in that browser. I have no other idea what to do. Searching your database for "youtube videos load slow" only resulted in a couple hits with no resolution. Hopefully this isn't the third. thanks

If I press and hold the arrow key, the page scrolls for a few lines and then there is a delay of about a second before it actually starts scrolling. How do you remove this delay? For example, hjkl works exactly how I want it to in the vimium extension, but I'm also using home row modes, so I can't use it. I'm not talking about smooth scroll or something like that. I also tried Yet Another Smooth Scrolling WE and it's not what I was looking for. This delay also common to chromium.

When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? I can no longer use my camera on firefox, firefox displayed some message about camera when we were trying to chat, but I missed it, I have granted relevant permissions on the site, that we use reularly. The camera icon on the address bar appears red, and I noticed that in Windows security, it lists firefox access requests, but shows no way to grant these requests.

I am not tech minded so please if anyone could keep it simple, I would appreciate it.

Every time I open my Firefox browser (it is my default), even during a session when the browser has not closed, I get a pop-up prompting me to download an update. After numerous attempts to download the update, it still did not show up in my download folder nor did I see the download run or prompt a "finish". I checked download history and finally see that it says it installed on 6/25 but I am still getting repeated prompts to download and install an update.

This is maddening. I am using Windows 10 Enterprise on an HP Elite Desk.

Please help me fix this!

Since I switched my compter, Firefox resets the default engine back to ebay, which cannot be deleted in the list and also shows up in the address bar. Could you please tell me how to get rid of it? Running 127.0.1 (64-bit) on EndeavourOS, KDE Plasma, using Wayland. I've had severe crash issues and when troubleshooting I noticed this

Error: Failed to open Wayland display, fallback to X11. WAYLAND_DISPLAY='wayland-0' DISPLAY=':1'

pops up every time I start Firefox via terminal. Why wouldn't Firefox be able to open a Wayland display? Trying to force it with MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 firefox doesn't do anything. I get the same error message.

Copying text with the latest version of Firefox 127.0.1 (64-bit) does not catch all lines of a page and its text the marking of these lines are ignored the same page text works if using Chrome

Those marked grey (in attached file) are the only that are captured as all the rests are left out even if they was intended to be marked .

Hi! I have more than one device for Audio connected to my laptop. Obviously the default device provide by laptop but also I have a Jabra Headset EVOLVE 20 SE MS and Jabra Speaker SPEAK 510 USB/ Bluetooth. Also my webcam Logitech C930e provide a microphone.

When I use Google Meet, in Chrome I can select on Meet Audio Device Select the different microphone or Speakers but in Firefox I can only select the Default System Speaker.

I would like to know how to change between my Audio Devices for the output or can switch between my different speakers.

I've been experiencing a problem in Firefox where, when I scroll, the incoming part of the page momentarily goes blank and then loads to normal. Firefox "Tabs" when operated automatically will not work on links within emails that I trust. When I manually select the link to open within a "Private Tab"(Personal, Banking, Shopping, etc)the link will work, and connect. I have checked the Windows 10(64) Firewall and my VPN, and nothing is set to block Firefox from connecting the auto-opening Tab. What is the trouble?

I'm switching from Edge and have a frustrating issue.

In Edge I am very used to having separate behaviour for links with left and middle click.

i.e. from Gmail, if I left click a link it opens in a new tab and switches to the tab, if I middle click a link it opens in a new tab but stays on the current tab

In Firefox both seem to be controlled by the single setting.

I have looked in about:config and tried changing a few flags but cannot seem to find a combination that works how I want it.

Can anyone help?

This is a real dealbreaker for me and I will switch back if there's no solution :(

Hello, I have a problem with the languages/dictionaries in Firefox (Linux) and would appreciate some help.

Currently the German language is not recognized in the spell checker or is apparently not available.

When I click on the context menu in a language field (right mouse button), only "Englisch (Vereinigte...." is displayed under "Sprachen" (which is "Languages" in the english menu).

However, the German language pack is apparently installed, because when I click on the link to add it in the context menu, the language extension for German already says "remove".

I would also be happy to provide pictures.

Incidentally, the interface in Firefox is already correctly in German.

Deleting cookies, restarting Firefox and restarting the system have unfortunately not helped.
