I have been using Firefox for years without any problem but 126.0.1 (64-bit) is making me to consider stopping it. I am having issues playing live cams, getting some websites running properly, authentication issues, etc...etc..

Why?

When I try to open a what may be a link in a page, which should bring up a PDF file, I think, I get the following:

Firefox Can’t Open This Page

When I click on the Open Site in new Window button I get a new window with the following:

message "Unauthorized" context {} code null

A recent set of system updates appears to have made most website videos not play in Firefox.

When I inspect the Developer Tools - > Console tab the most detail Firefox gives are an error line similar to: Media resource URL could not be decoded, error: Error Code: NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_METADATA_ERR (0x806e0006)

Internet searches for the error name and error hex do not appear yield any applicable troubleshooting, nor any methods of collecting additional problem data.

How can I obtain more detail on where the error is happening and how Firefox might be interacting with other packages present on my system?

Arch Linux has some older ffmpeg-compat packages, but those don't appear to match any of the web results, in that they're even older versions of ffmpeg.

More than half of the websites are broken when viewed in Firefox now E.g. theguardian, youtube. It takes way too long to load and most of the time it's only part of the page. The same websites work on Chrome and Edge without any issue.

And then I try to upload screenshots (.JPG) to this form and it doesn't work?

Opening messenger was not a problem in my firefox. But recently i cannot access my messenger anymore in firefox. Everytime I try to open messenger it crashes. But I can use messenger in private window. Can please someone give me a solution for this problem.

Website loaded without any problems for months until I get this error message out of the blue; see screenshot below.

Did try Java toggle on-off extension but the options button is not displayed on the extension that would have enabled me to enter URL of site in blacklist text box.

My website is shown as insecure. If I open it with Chrome, it is okay. If my girlfriend opens it from her computer with firefox, it is okay too. What is wrong here?

Keep getting this response from browser or bank log-in site: "You were signed out due to inactivity, but you can log in again whenever you’re ready."

Able to access site on MS Edge using same pwd and user ID

Upgrade my desktop Firefox browser to version 126.0.1 a few days ago.

Since then, I'm having all kinds of probs logging in to social media sites.

The biggest prob is with X. I've tried to inquire about this situation with X support. I'm being told that my account is good and I should not be having log-in probs. When I explain that I'm being given an authentication challenge that is not allowing me in - despite the fact that the challenge is cleared - I'm told that I should consider my browser privacy settings.

Nothing has changed with this since my last log-ins except the upgrade for Firefox.

Please advise regarding this inquiry: is there something new in the privacy issues with this new upgrade? And how can this issue be resolved?

I have a problem in Firefox where I can't log into Chewy. I get the error "Secure Connection Failed". Turning off extensions doesn't help, this seems to be a root problem with Firefox itself. I can sign in using Edge.

control + UP (arrow) is documented to "go to top of page". That has broken as of 126.0 And, for some reason I don't remember, I found that using "HOME" in the past was also problematic.

How do I report something as "b roken" to firefox and do you agree it is broken?

Recently, I switched to Fedora 39. At first, Firefox was working fine, but after I logged into my Firefox account, the fonts of some languages stopped rendering, and this started happening with almost every site that was using system fonts.

I can't use Firefox on my Mac with the Reddit.com web site because letters vanish. I started to type "Mac" but aafter the "M" nothing appeared and I got the message "Server Error."

I just had a similar thing happen on the InternetArchive (archive.org).

Chrome and Safari work perfectly.

I've updated Firefox several times with this problem.

I am unable to sign into the 7plus.com.au website.

I have tried creating a new profile in Firefox (firefox.exe -p) but I have the same issues when using the new profile.

When I go to the website, the 'sign in' button does not respond, nor does the 'Register' button. When I click on the 'Connect your TV' button and enter my credentials, I receive an error message:

Failed to sign in. Please try again later (error -1)

I do not have these issues if I use another browser, so this leads me to believe that Firefox may be the issue.

I realize the website developers may also be at fault here, but it seems odd that other browsers work, but Firefox does not.

If anyone can offer any help or advice, I am all ears, thanks.

Been using Firefox and predessors for 30 years. The problem: 1. I login to my Credit Union website "https://www.missionfed.com. 2. I AM able to get through the login and verification process, to the page where my accounts are shown. 3. Click on my checking account, and the icon rolls and rolls, and never gets past this point. 4. Access in this same manner has ALWAYS worked in the past. 5. I disabled all extensions, etc. There was only one anyway. Didn't help. 6. I ran troubleshooting / safe mode. Didn't help. 7. Cleared the cache, etc. Didn't help 7. I called the bank. The moment I mentioned Firefox, THEY SAID, IT'S A NEW PROBLEM WITH FIREFOX, WE'RE TELLING EVERYONE TO USE EDGE OR CHROME INSTEAD. That can't be good? 8. The bank said v.125 works fine and that v.126 is the problem. Any ideas?

Recently my browser will open a Settings tab whenever I click on an autofill dropdown selection. Any autofill selection from username/passwords to simple Name/phonenumber/etc autofills. It's very annoying and I can figure out why it's doing it. How do I make it stop? I'm running Firefox 126.0.1 (64-bit) on a Windows PC.

Images and graphical elements (even the checkmark or the confirm image at the bottom of this thread creation page) disappear when scrolling down. This started after today's update. I've tried creating a new profile, troubleshooting mode, disabling hardware acceleration, disabling dark reader, changing the windows override settings to NEVER - NONE OF IT WORKED!! I'm getting really ticked-off by this crap! Didn't have this problem until the newest "great" update!
