Im trying to put my email (prkirby@sky.com) on to thunderbird (version 115.12.1 64Bit) running on a windows 11 computer I have 2 other emails which run perfectly All my settings are correct, pop 3 incoming pop.tools.sky.com port 995 outgoing smpt.tools.sky.com port 465 both my username and password are correct, all these settings work when using outlook 2013 pro plus on a computer running windows 7 username and password also work when signing in to emails on different computers When I create the account the message I get is password/usename incorrect Any help will be gratefully received Phil

Hello, From yesterday we have a problem opening Thunderbird. It doesn't load, when we click 2 times on the icon it shows a text, which says Couldn't load XPCOM. We tried restarting the PC but it doesn't get better. May you help by telling us how we could fix it?

I suggest you stop recommending Mailfence. I have had some issues recently with my emails and presume it is to do with various updates, but the Mailfence account which i was going to close at the end of the term, remains blocked and i can't recover anything from them. Thb stated it was free when i subscribed, only it wasn't free for Thb platform users. They are not a fit company

Since I have updated to 128.0.1esr (64-bit) portable

I have been experiencing unusual and extremely slow rss feed and other email check & downloads

I have 3 gmail accounts & 1 microsoft and many rss feeds

unless I click on update/get messages for each gmail or microsoft or spesific rss feeds it just hangs

whereas when I click update/get all at once in the previous edition

I have never had such slowness or problem

I don't believe you need further info

please fix the slowness / and or not getting the new messages at all

yesterday I had an issue with my new emails from 1st August to 5th August, they were not displaying correctly, so I did a repair folder to my inbox, once I did this and said OK all my current emails until May 2022 disappeared! Some emails received yesterday 5th August 2024 will not open and have lost their attachments. This only happened in my inbox... Why has this happened and please can someone help me get all these emails back.

I had a cryptogroup email account on Mozilla Thunderbird for many years. Then quite suddenly it stopped working. I could get no information about why or what happened even long after it expired. It just went away.

I moved to another system. But I find myself in a legal battle that requires an email from that system. I have no way to access it since the server is no longer available. But I desperately need a copy of that email.

Is there any way I can get to those emails or to someone who can get to those emails and send me a copy of the email I am looking for?

Obviously this cryptogroup email will not work any longer. So any notifications sent to it will not get to me. So Please send any response to nvfree@proton.me.

Hallo, ich habe Windows 11 neu installiert, nun habe ich das Problem, das angeblich mein Mail Passwort nicht stimmt. Ich habe schon alles ausprobiert, die korrekten Passwörter von T-Online eingebeben, die Passwörter geändert, nichts hilft. Ich habe auch schon Thunderbird neu installiert, doch alles ohne Erfolg. Könntet ihr mir bitte weiterhelfen, das ich dieses wundervolle Programm wieder nutzen kann?

I recently had to update all my passwords for all my Thunderbird email accounts. It all seemed to go well. I was able to logon to all my email accounts, but just 2 days ago I wasn't able to logon to one of my secondary email accounts.

I haven't been able to clearly understand just where my passwords are located, so does anyone have any suggestions on where to find my passwords?  I'm stuck....

I needed to migrate my account to another laptop and i was advised to use the the following method: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/moving-thunderbird-data-to-a-new-computer.

However, all the emails dated prior to the move, come up blank now, only the headers can be seen.

Server type is POP

I cannot download them from webmail as for majority the previous server was IMAP which is no longer connected.

Where is the send button? Where is the Undo Delete button? Why can't I add them BACK to the tool bar?

There are other problems and somebody should poke the responsible braintrust with a stick for fucking things up.

Finally WHO fucked up the email client with this last update?

Seriously fix it or I am moving on. Been with thunderbird since the beginning.

I have reports from two people who cannot get their messages to me. One goes back to sender marked "blocked", the other is marked "refused to receive this message". I do not have any filter settings on either address. Can you tell me what is going on? Also, how can this be corrected? Thanks Marion Nickey

Hello, I´ve deleted my e-mails on my gmx account, because the storage space was filled. I´ve also emptied the bin. I was sure to have my e-mails on my thunderbird account on the computer, but they are all gone....Is there any opportunity to reload them? Thank´s a lot

I am using Thunderbird for 12yrs, also some paid features like Owl for Exchange.

After the latest update to the version 128.0.1 esr it is impossible to work with it, it constantly freezes and not responding, especially when I start typing or editing in the quick filter bar. This is the first time ever I am opening a ticket via this form, it pretty much says how frustrating this issue is. I hope this will be fixed in the next versions, so far I am rolling back to the previous version, since I need to have access to my emails, not to lose half a day, waiting until it responds.

I have a problem with outbox, i lost a possibility to read old emails i see them in outbox folder, but every signle email is blank the problem contain not all messages from this files, the newest are ok, and the olders also, but i have like 2 years gap i see al the messages but i cant read it, moziile display only whole white screen

any tips?

Hi there, My preview panel is working very badly, it either shows the content of the email or is completely white. What can I do to remedy it? - In some cases the emails appear in very strange codes, thousands of lines like this (iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAPAAAABGCAYAAADyxhn6AAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAARnQU1BAACx jwv8YQUAAAAJcEhZcwAA) - in other cases, totally blank - in other cases it's everything ok It's working fine, receiving and sending all emails.
