I am developing a website and when troubleshooting I am getting the following issue in both private browsing and normal browser mode.

- 'my_watchlist' html page loads in the both browser mode windows as it should - in both browser mode windows, view source code shows a dashboard page html and not the my_watchlist page html - inspect shows the correct html code for the my_watchlist page in both browser mode windows

The reason this is an issue is because I am not getting changes made to the source code in the my_watchlist page showing after saving and uploading to the server.

To clarify, I have tried: - closing browsers completely and reopening - still same issue - clearing cache - same issue - restarting pc - same issue

What is causing this?

This current update (129.0) crashed my windows 10 pc. Firefox showed that the update was completed and restarted itself. Nvidia downloaded a driver update & attempted to install it but failed. The error msg indicated that another app update was in progress, prevented it from installing, and to try later. Based on what I saw on Task Manager, Firefox locked up the windows installer module and had 100% disk usage. PC then crashed and looped several times trying to auto-repair itself. Had to do a hard power down, a safe boot, and the restore PC and Windows 10 to last good version. Will not do any Firefox updates until this problem is resolved.

After Firefox update on August 6, 2024, I cannot use Hulu video streaming. There is a black screen. Rolling back to 128.0.3 solves the problem. Will there be a fix so that I can update Firefox to the latest version?

Moz Developers,

I would like to add a default exclude words from from search results. So for example, my search would be

"Best places to live" but I would like to exclude Africa with

"Best places to live -africa"

Could "-africa" be added to a default search bar settings so I don't need to type it?

I looked at "Relay" to protect tracking. Before I knew it, I clicked and it said free. I added it and then a charge came up. Very disappointed in these used car dealer tactics. Why don't you tell someone up front if there is a charge for an add on? I may be looking for a new browser. I am not happy with Mozilla for the first time since subscribing.

My Windows 10 system is very slow on startup. Applications are taking a long time to even respond to clicking icons, but eventually start. In Task Manager, I see that several instances of Firefox are running at startup, although it doesn't appear in the startup list. When I end these Firefox processes, the system immediately resumes normal operating speed, and things that are waiting to open appear (Speccy, CC, AV's, mail client,etc.). How do I stop Firefox from running in the background without permission at startup?

Mozilla tab keeps crashing (especially at YouTube) I was wondering if someone can help me find out why!

like tell me how to show the log or something to identify what is doing the crash.

I don't think you can help at this point. I followed the prompt to update Firefox and got the message that the platform version '128.0' is not compatible with min version>=128.0 or max version<=128.0. After following the instructions to uninstall then re-install Firefox, and even with the aid of a tech, I now have lost 90% of my bookmarks. Disappointed and not happy with Firefox at this point. I guess it's a done deal now and I just start over. Fortunately, I didn't have super important things bookmarked.

i change to firefox from chrome as chromes caused everything to hang. now my facebook games are saying that firefoxdoes not support the games. ie the browser you are using does not support this platform. i have search resolutions and tried them all and dont know what to do. do i have to go back to chrome?

Dont know how it happen but "https://ww25.waterdropswiter.xyz" has taken over comes up everywhere when tying in web adress and has give it self free access to everything

I reinstalled my windows and signed in to my new firefox and it is not syncing anything. On my phone though all the bookmars and stuff is saved. (Yes I am signed in) I tried using waterfox as well but it didnt work either.

For about 2 weeks now my Firefox Desktop v. 128.0.3 (Mozilla-Flatpak - 1.0) freezes within 30 mins of use.

No good waiting, nothing responds except the exit button.

Clearly, there's a flaw in a recent update.

I'm on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS and my Firefox is from Flatpak.

While writing this I got a Flatpak update for Firefox and Firefox.Locale - whatever that is.

So I'll park my question till I close and reopen Firefox - hopefully with a release from the big freeze-up.

When I start typing 'subscr..' into the URL bar, I'd like it to autocomplete / select 'Subscriptions' from my bookmarks.

However, instead the default item is a Google search for 'subscr' as shown in the image.

Is there a way to skip this and make it select the top suggestion instead, much like Chrome does? (I've jumped ship from Chrome)

I have a problem with older messages. I think this is happened after upgrade to 128.0.1 version. New messages that i get are ok but older are not readable. I will post picture of message (this one is with attachment but the same is with mail with text). Does anybody know how to solve this?
