I've had Sync enabled for a while now, but I installed Firefox Containers today which required explicit sign-in to the Mozilla account to enable Sync. Didn't remember the password anymore so I reset it. After that the account got disconnected from Sync and asked me to sign in again (as expected). So I did and got redirected to the settings page on Mozilla account no problem, device supposedly connected.

However, the Sync notification in the app menu immediately changed to Account disconnected again and no matter how many times I click to sign in again it stays that way. Not to mention that each time I do click to sign in, the Mozilla account page wants me to jump through all the hoops again (password, email code, 2FA) instead of remembering the previous session (refreshing the page with F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R doesn't log me out nor indicate that the session had expired).

Earlier in the evening of 8/5/24, Rumble, Duck Duck Go search engine and Truth Social were working properly. After dinner and my daughter and her family left, suddenly, without any changes being made on Firefox (which is up-to-date), videos on Rumble load but don't play, the search results don't populate on DDG, and Truth Social just shows a white page. All three of them work on FF on my phone. This is only happening on my desktop.

YouTube and all other sites/tabs work fine. I am at a complete loss as to what could have caused this or how to fix it.

So recently on the latest Firefox version 128.0.3 (64-bit) I have seen blank pages very often. Be it me trying to search for something using google or opening results of such searches, my Firefox just displays a blank page. Sometimes it's the fifth tab, sometimes it's the second tab - but it has happened a lot within the last week. At first I thought I might be running out of RAM but that doesn't seem to be the case because next tab opens and plays nicely as seen in first screenshot. I'm running Windows 10 x64 and have no plans on going Windows 11 ever, but this is just silly.

Hi Starting this weekend I have been unable to purchase items online using Firefox browser on my Windows Desktop. On the weekend I tried to purchase an item from PolarPro, but when I clicked on the checkout button it was unresponsive. I thought it likely that there was a glitch in their website and made the purchase using my iPad. Then today I tried to buy an item from Bandcamp and again had the ssame problem. When I clicked to confirm the purchase my screen was unresponsive. I tried to send an email to you guys and clicking on the send button, same again - nothing happened. This is a new thing and quite frustrating. Let's see if this email gets through. Cheers Richard Wedekind

When i am in facebook and i want to do a live call or video chat,and when i hover the mouse over these options ,it no longer let's me do this and tells me that the browser not longer supports this action yet i could do this up until about 7 weeks ago im using firefox in 20:04 ubuntu,im also having difficulty on another web page ordering spare parts,it won't let me select or order part's either but when i use windows 10 with firefox browser everything works fine why is this same browser different system?? i don't get this please help

Second time I am writing this. The first try upped and vanished when I was in "Troubleshooting" I believe. When FF starts up on this Win-11 laptop, left 25% of FF screen is obscured by popups concerned with articles in PC-Gamer. There must be some setting that will turn them off?

An unwanted bookmarks toolbar appears above the URL field, as shown in the image.

After all the bookmark shortcuts it contains are closed, and FF is restarted, the marks reappear.

How can they be purged permanently?

Roboform StartPage will not display as a Custom URL as used before last Firefox update. If Firefox default HomePage is used with shortcuts the Roboform startPage will display, but the pinned items will not link to the logins.

Many web pages now 'flash' when opened in FF (128.0.3 64bit W10). ALL graphics images turn on then off in synchrony. Text does not seem to be affected. Disabling HW acceleration has no effect.

Hello,

This morning, for the very first time in 12 years, I opened my hotmail/outlook email tab and got a completely blank white screen, and nothing more. I've restarted my laptop twice, just to see if it was a Windows glitch. Nope. I disabled ad blockers with the little shield in front of the URL--still no change.

I love Firefox and prefer to use nothing else. However, I tried to open my email with Edge and it works fine. It also works fine on my older computer that did NOT get the Firefox update, so something is amiss here. Firefox updated recently on this machine and I'm wondering if something went wrong in the update. I'm not very tech savvy, but can anyone help me?

i stumbled on site actblue is sharing with 2 cross site cookies with websites i never allowed. i never look at the details because mac firefox "Standard" text implies never can have cross site tracking. (i find no exceptions in my profile and i would have never knowingly allowed any cross site tracking.) how can i quickly see which sites in my firefox currently allow cross site tracking?

The enter key only works for a short time in the search bar. Then it stops working, meaning I have to constantly restart. It's not any of my extensions. What is the problem? Is there any solution? Otherwise, Firefox is unusable for me.

I can not remove download window. I have gone into config and set to false, but as soon as I download something it resets to true. I absolutely hate and have always hated that thing. Any ideas??

Hi, I recently formatted my pc, and as I usually do, when I download the browser I enter my email which has all my bookmarks and favorites, the problem is that it does not synchronize the data I had with my account.

I have used about Sync, I have checked the profiles and deleted the places.sql file that is commented in other posts similar to my problem, I have checked the logs of the synchronization and it does not show any error.

I don't know what else to try, but I do know that the last time I did the same and entered my account to the browser (about 2 years ago) everything synchronized without any problem.

I hope you can give me a solution here, since Mozilla Support team does not take care of these "problems".

i cannot get firefox to open, tried to uninstall and reinstall and it locks up when i uninstall, it also locks up when i try to reinstall. i would like to get it removed from computer and fresh installation
