Having an issue where Youtube live streams works for around 30 seconds and then "Something went wrong" error happens and the stream stops. I've tried Troubleshooting Mode and it continues to happen.

Oddly, using a private browsing window fixes it. I figured that may mean that I should clear my cache/cookies but that didn't fix it for normal browsing. From my testing it doesn't appear to be extension related because I've tried a private browsing session with all of my extensions allowed in private and the stream was steady.

Disabling Hardware Acceleration didn't do it either.

I'm on Windows 10. Firefox Version - 128.0.3 Build ID - 20240725162350

If there are any other steps I can take to troubleshoot, please let me know.

There were 2 firefox showing in my pc . So i uninstalled them. But now when i am trying to open a pdf it showing firefox as an option although firefox is not installed. screenshot attached . Can anyone tell me what to do?

PRIORITY:HIGH for those that are concerned! I created a specific Yahoo account so I could make comments on various News issues. I'm signed into that account and try to make a comment and it says something like or offers to sign in again where the comment is located. when i tick the sign in tab it goes back to the article as if I never signed in to post a comment. When I am actually signed into the Yahoo account where the article is located. Could be politics, music, etc. I cleared the cache, etc...still stuck in the mud. please help. Thank you. raphael

For weeks now I have been unable to sign into Microsoft.com to get support help through chat or receive a call back. These can only be achieved by signing in. The only Microsoft product that I can use is my Outlook mail app, which I have been able to sign into. But this is not connected with Mozilla Firefox. There is no other way that I know of to contact Microsoft. I've tried signing in on Microsoft Edge as well, I get an error message there as well. Since this problem started with trying to sign in on Mozilla Firefox, I assume this is where the issue was created. If I cannot sign into Microsoft.com, I am locked out of getting any help resolving this issue. There is no other way to reach Microsoft. The phone number they has no live person, only a robot which will answer questions only and then hang up.

Can someone here at Mozilla, please help me????

Hi, I have windows 10 desktop,,,, I use Microsoft Edge and Firefox but firefox is my default browser... I use Tagged and HI5 often.. My problem is ads on tagged and HI5 (Both are sister companies? I get ads but no way of blocking them I have just tried all kinds of adblockers on firefox just waste of time... But the worst thing is those ad's that tagged display all infected... I use Norton and Malwarebyts when I click on the ad's they both come on asking me to stay away all their ad's are infected... I have sent 5 emails to Tagged telling them what is going on but I had no reply at all negative or positive and they are infecting peoples computers or mobiles if they are not using Antivirus.... Ad's are always on when I use firefox but but when I use Microsoft Edge no ad's somehow but Microsoft Edge is much slower then Firefox,, when I click on to something it goes round and round and says Hang tight....What should I use on firefox to stop those Tagged ads..On tagged settings ads section has been unchecked but nothing stops them from popping up even the adblockers that I have...But only on firefox... I have several problems with firefox lately. I loved it and I have it for years. It kept all my passwords, more than 100. A few days ago firefox totally crashed on my side, it did not want to start any site, while on the same computer other browsers stated them. After I realized this I deleted the firefox and uploaded again. Now it works almost for all site (but for example not for booking) but I lost almost all my passwords:( I have now just 23 but lost many many. How can I get them back?

I reorganized my bookmarks that accumulated haphazardly over many years -- it mainly had to do with getting new computers and reinstalling browsers that automatically imported by bookmarks.

Anyway, I want to make a fresh start so that involved several days work, and I got it done on Edge then imported them successfully into Chrome, Opera, and Duckduckgo.

However, I have run into problems with Firefox.

First, I had more problems deleting the bookmarks, which I thought I'd do, but finally found a tutorial that helped me do that. But couldn't import the bookmarks. So, I thought I'd reinstall. Did that twice but both times it automatically populated the old bookmarks. Then I watched a tutorial that showed me how to change settings so I could view hidden files. This time I was able to import the bookmarks but they aren't showing up. Where are they because I received a message that they were imported.

When trying to download a Firefox update or a PDF file, instead of displaying a popup for specifying a download location only a small menu appears and the screen locks up. If I'm lucky I can unlock Firefox using the ESC key; otherwise I have to do a Force Quit. I've included screenshots showing what I'm seeing along with what I should see.
