After Firefox updated my browser version to 129.0, my username and password no longer work on my credit card website. I contacted tech support at the credit card banking site through a live phone call. I told them about the upgrade and also that I can use firefox on my iphone to login successfully. I don't know what version is currently on my iphone but it does work there. This problem is specifically on my Macmini . I also can login using same password and username on the Mac through Safari. Their tech support said the problem is with that version (129.0) Firefox web browser. What say You? Thanks.

When I drag and drop text from a .txt file into Firefox, the text goes to Firefox correctly, but then deletes whatever was highlighted from the .txt file. Is this a setting I have to change or is there no way to fix this?

I'd like to create a Firefox add-on that communicates with another process on the local computer. I've found the documentation about the WebExtension API and have already created a few add-ons, also for Thunderbird. But I couldn't find information about the IPC mechanisms in the documentation or the rest of the web.

How does it work, where is it explained?

I can handle sockets and named pipes (Windows) on the desktop development side, just need the browser side.

From last night every time I try to download from K2s the download is blocked by Firefox as a malicious download , happens every time from this site. The files are fine and will download via Edge. I have not changed any settings , any idea why this is happening ?

I accidentally deleted my Mozilla account and now need to recover it. I’ve tried the usual recovery options but haven’t had any success. Does anyone know how I can restore a deleted Mozilla account or what steps I should take next?

Westpac keep telling me it is the fault of my browser. While I was trying safe mode, deleting the cookies and cache etc. I came across this bit of odd information -

Westpac have been telling me for two months that it is Firefox's fault, but I don't see how, given that it has always worked before. Finding this data makes me think the problem is Westpac's fault but they just keep saying the same old thing - use another browser. Well I don't want to! I have visual difficulties and my Firefox is heavily customised to account for that.

What is actually happening is that when I enter my information on the log In Page: https://banking.westpac.com.au/wbc/banking/handler?TAM_OP=login&logout=false then click on the sign in button the screne goes white like it is going to log in and then the sign in page comes back up without the information I had entered.

Is there any thing you can do to help me?

When I have the https://www.wavve.com/ site(VOD site of South Korea) open and I'm looking at a different tab, Firefox automatically redirects wavve.com to https://wavve.co/. It doesn't happen every time.

I have somehow set my email inbox such that when I double click on a new message I've received (or a previously opened message from that matter), rather than opening the message to read, it opens the email as a draft response to the sender and me, from me. What do I need to do or reset to go back to normal. Thanks ... Mark

I have installed Firefox on a new computer and add all my extensions. Phantom wallet when clicked is too large and there are buttons on the bottom that are missing as a result. Is there a way to change the size of the windows that pop up when clicking on an extension? Thanks
