The www.nzherald.co.nz website pages wont display using Firefox MacOS. Just comes up blank. The website works fine on other browsers and ios Firefox. Have tried deleting the cache.

I know the first page has no redirect at webhost so I don't know why this happens. Same problem in Chrome and Edge. Malware is unlikely as Plusnet have thousands if not millions of customers.

Hi, I'm back to an older computer where I already had Firefox installed. I have it installed and synchronized on 3 other computers and it works perfectly there. My main issue is that in the settings, Firefox is supposed to open with all the tabs I had opened when I closed it. It doesn't... It sends me to the home page. Second issue, also unique: I'm using Duck and go as search engine, and I have the same issue: it doesn's save my preferences (when it does on the same computer with Brave browser) Should I uninstall it all and try again? I already applied all the solutions suggested in th online help pages...

I keep getting annoying block-ups on different websites, all of which are asking me to sign up for a newsletter e.g. - https://michaelwest.com.au/ https://theconversation.com/au https://johnmenadue.com/category/politics/

Is there a pop-up blocker that can stop these annoying intrusions?

I would be grateful for any help.

I participate in a number of surveys. For some reason, I cannot access them anymore when using Firefox/Yahoo. I could in the past. I can still access them if I use Google. What has happened?

I use Mendeley Reference manager in Firefox. It used to work OK. Now I get a message "Firefox blocks extensions running on PDF files". This is just what Mendeley does. How do I get Firefox to allow this to happen again?

ForecastFox has worked well for me over the years on three WinX systems but I recently got my wife a new ASUS laptop that runs Win 11 and now I can't set the location on ForecastFox for her system. All I get when I try is the eternally circling wheel. I couldn't get any help on Mozillazine where ForecastFoc has a page. Can anybody suggest a remedy?

Any way to try to restore or at least get a list of what my suddenly unrestorable tabs were? I mean, aside from looking through every single item in my entire history and then trying to figure out whether I had already finished that project or not?

(I'll get old and die before I complete that.)

I had many many tabs open, in many many windows, and I discovered long ago (this is not necessarily a good thing:) that if you have the internet on your device shut off while you start firefox up, and while you session restore, though all the urls and the tabs and the windows reappear, none of the are actually loaded, they are just sitting there, and you need to reload each page/tab before the computer seems to use any ram (if that's the word) to run the page. This unfortunately allows a distractable procrastinator like me to accumulate literally thousands of unfinished tabs, which I was of course going through one by one and closing, but I had tons and tons of them open still.

When session restore suddenly no longer is an option, (it is greyed out, and not for the first time,) are there any other options?

I have appointments that utilize Microsoft Teams for the sessions. On my desktop PC (Windows 10) and my wife's laptop (also Windows 10) the links open up the Teams app, and things work well. However on my new laptop (Windows 11, not my choice) the links open up inside of the browser and ALSO don't acknowledge the existence of the webcam, despite my telling the browser to work with it. Teams is installed on the computer.

Could someone please help me to either (or both) get teams to open in the application or get firefox to acknowledge that my webcam exists (other programs do work with it).

I installed a plug in and have now lost all my Firefox configuration, stored pages etc. I backup my entire PC everyday and can restore individual files. What Windows 10 files need to be restored in order to return my Firefox before the crash?

The past couple weeks I've had this issue 2-3 times now where after I start up my computer and launch Firefox, and I find am logged out of every last website I was logged into. However, it is not every time I launch, and seems to only happen the first launch of a Windows session.

I've never had this issue before. The only notable changes that have happened to my computer in the past several weeks are:

1) I now have a second Windows user account on my PC for work (I suspect this to be honest, but not sure why it would be like that)

2) I think Windows 10 did a random feature update against my will a month ago?

3) I installed Escape From Tarkov

I have uBlock Origin, NoScript, Ghostery, and HTTPS Everywhere. Nothing else besides those add-ons.

Aside from that, I went through Firefox log-in/session settings and everything is correct.

I even have cookie exceptions set to "Allow" for all of those sites (both HTTP and HTTPS URLs), so there is zero reason that this should be happening.

Its also worth noting that this is not every time I launch Firefox. It is seemingly random but happens upon my first launch of Firefox that Windows start up. POSSIBLY after I hit "Restart" on Windows instead of "Shutdown", but I haven't been able to test this theory yet.

HI for the past four days I have been getting the following error message when attempting to load www.canberratimes.com.au

This is happening on my Windows PC only. I can access the site on my Firefox browser on IOS.

I am running the most recent version of Firefox 102.0.1 (64 bit).

This is the only site displaying this message.

I want to ask for advice. Firefox automatic spell check function funny. I've searched a lot, but I'm in trouble because I can't find a solution. In the firefox settings panel, I unchecked "Use automatic spell check function" and used it. I understand that the check is entered by inputting characters in English, but it is strange that the spell check is entered in other languages (Japanese input). I don't know the solution.

I do freelance work for a nonprofit that uses Constant Contact for its bulk fundraising emails. I've been doing this for at least 3 years using Firefox, but suddenly, something weird is happening: in any text block I insert, all the words run together as if I'm not hitting the spacebar. I'm communicating regularly with Constant Contact support, and they've even escalated the issue...but nothing seems to work. (It often looks fine on their end, but not on mine.) Unfortunately this ONLY happens with Firefox; using Edge and Chrome, the words come out fine. CC is still trying to solve the problem, but thought I'd bring it here to see if anyone else has any ideas.

How do I block autoplay vedio?

I know I can block Audio and Video, but I just want to block autoplay video. As if I use the block audio and video it will mute all videos I open, and I need to unmute it every time. I just want autoplay to not start, not mute the video too.

My volume on Youtube is often too low. Some time back I got a java script that fixed it. I had to do an F12 and paste it in somewhere and then I got a little rectangle at top left which said something like 'volume'. Click on that and up went the volume. Click again, up more and so on. It was good. Sometimes on things like perhaps Bitchute it wouldn't work. It would actually switch all the volume off. I'd refresh the page to fix that. Anyway: it suddenly disappeared today. The little rectangle is gone. I can't up my volume on Youtube any more. I got something from the web, a javascript, and pasted it into 'console' after F12 but i got error messages. I'm clueless. Don't know where to look for my original, see if it still there. Don't know how to troubleshoot. Don't know any other way to get the volume up. See error message on the console whenever I go there, don't know what to do about them. FYI I'll post the first few lines of them: Unknown property ‘-moz-osx-font-smoothing’. Since Firefox is set as my default browser I would have expected to see Firefox here in these registry entries as my default browser in lieu of Internet Explorer. However, if I delete those Registry entries, it then breaks any embedded links in MS Programs such as Outlook mail and Excel. I have I.E as non-active (i.e. unchecked in Programs) but the system still seems to rely on I.E for opening any embedded links. Any suggestions as to how to fix this problem would be appreciated.
