Hi Team,

Would love to know how in task manager there are 10+ firefox services running with only 4 tabs open and the usage is ridiculous. Closing one tab the next one that was using roughly 250mb shoots to over 600mb...what are you playing at????

I appreciate very much the recent security changes in Firefox 127, about mixed content. I think it really does improve both security and privacy, but I have HTTPS websites in a local network (private IP addresses) that load some images from a local IP camera over HTTP. I do not have control over these IP camera images, so as a temporary workaround I am allowing the whole website to be delivered over plain HTTP.

It's not a huge security issue, because it's on a local network which I access over the Internet via a VPN, but I would prefer to keep the website on HTTPS and allow mixed content for this specific IP address, so to keep the protection fully enabled when I browse the Internet.

Is there a way to enter a specific IP address in an exception list, so to selectively allow mixed content? Or, in alternative, is it possible to specify that all web requests from private IP addresses (RFC 1918) should allow mixed content?

YouTube has been so slow in Firefox. It just takes a ton of time for the video to actually play. It's just a spinning circle in a video. I can refresh several times and then it plays. I cleared my cache, history, data...etc everything from Firefox. That seemed to help for a bit. Then it just resulted back to being slow. It's just in Firefox. I played videos in Edge. It was fine. No issues. It's just FireFox. It started most recently too. It wasn't happening a week ago. I even tried going back to an old version of Firefox. Didn't help. Anyone know how to fix? Not using ad blockers either FYI. I just want videos to play normally and fast.

For many years I have used the ability to set shortcuts to website on the Firefox home tab, using the method given at: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-items-on-firefox-new-tab-page#w_pin-unpin-or-remove-a-shortcut.

However, today, when I try to edit a shortcut link, I do not get the 3 dots menu by right clicking on a shortcut tile.

Is this a recent change, a bug, an issue with my installation (which has been stable for many years)?

How can I get back the functionality back?

I am using Firefox 127.0 (64 bit) on Windows (Windows 11, all up to date).

I would like to review a listing of all the extensions recommended by Mozilla for FF. One would think a list exists somewhere. But my searching for recommended extensions have not yielded the anticipated results. I found an article on the recommended extension program, but no list. If the answer is obvious, forgive me, but I didn't see it.

Now to the problem: Various pages have no favicon in Firefox when I drag them into the bookmark bar as a bookmark. However, when the page is active in the tab, a favicon is visible there.

The problem does not seem to be unique to me. Several people have tested it. It also seems to be a problem in Firefox only. In other browsers, this problem does not occur.

What can website owners do to fix this problem?

This problem started yesterday. Whenever I try to connect to a website, I'm met with an error saying "Secure Connection Failed", each time with a different error code. Dzień dobry, Po pierwsze chciałbym zapytać co mogło się wydarzyć- kilka dni temu po próbie otworzenia przeglądarki wyskoczył jakiś błąd, przez co musiałem zainstalować przeglądarkę jeszcze raz. Efektem tego jest usunięcie wszystkich zakładek i ustawień. Jeśli jest taka możliwość to prosiłbym o poradę w jaki sposób mógłbym przywrócić wcześniejsze ustawienia. Zacząłem ponownie dostosowywać przeglądarkę i napotkałem problem, a mianowicie po zainstalowaniu rozszerzenie nie pokazuje się on na górnym pasku jak miało to miejsce wcześniej. Jeśli nie ma możliwości przywrócenia wcześniejszych ustawień i zakładek to proszę o pomoc w dodaniu rozszerzenia do paska.
