I am being inundated with alerts saying firefox has been compromised & viruses have been detected. They want me to click on various links which I won't do of course. I am about ready to uninstall Firefox altogether. Hate to do since I will lose everything. Please help!

I noticed that sometimes (not everytime) I had "Server Not Found" error on some of my website. Since i have a DNS server at home i thought it was probably related to that so I opened Wireshark to see what was happening.

to better understand I have 2 dns records

server.lan that point to 192.168.1.61 and *.mydomain.com that points to server.lan with a CNAME.

In wireshark i saw that generally firefox does A and HTTPS(TYPE 65) queries but sometimes it only does HTTPS.

In case of a Type 65 query my dns server only answers with the CNAME so server.lan The issue is that Firefox doesnt try to resolve the CNAME.

When firefox do both A and Type65 it seems to work probably because it takes the A answer wich contains both cname and the IP of the CNAME but when it doesn't do both it just stop after the HTTPS one without trying to resolve the CNAME.

Google chrome seems to always do Both A and Type 65 query.

I have all my tabs set and don't want to lose them. My Mozilla Firefox Browser will not open on my desktop. I have another Browser I use for facebook as it works better with fb app. I did a cookie clean on the Microsoft Edge browser and I think it messed with my Mozilla Firefox Browser. It won't open now. I tried to update the browser. It still won't open.

I've already cleared the cache and verified the server status, but the issue continues. I’d greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions on what might be causing this problem.

I just moved from the MS Edge to Firefox Nightly on both on my pc and on my android phone, and as far i like it very much, except maybe the bookmarks sync but i will not talk about this right now.

My problem is on my win11 pc, after the 1st update there are now two identical Firefox apps showing on the default apps, in settings, as you can see in the picture. I search on the internet for a solution but with no success. Can someone help me with this ?? Thanks in advance !!

Version 129 is not printing headers and footers, despite manually checking the "print headers and footers" box in the print dialog (and despite making Page Setup visible via about:config). This persists in the preview, when printing to PDFs, and when printing to physical printers. This is new behavior to me since some time in the 128 series (the last time I tried to print a webpage showing the URL and date/time).

I have manually reset all print_h... and print_f... entries to default, but that didn't help either.

Yesterdays update of Thunderbird seems to have crashed my Thunderbird and all it's saved info. How do I restore it and I searched my hard drive and can't locate the .exe file?

i have a problem when trying to open a web page called nakos.no, but because of somthing called nginx it wont open.

How do i fix it?

A couple of websites in Firefox just wont scroll down at all, hence I cannot access all the information or links. zooming out helps partially but not convenient. how can I fix this please? I already turned off and then back on the hardware acceleration option that was offered to someone as a solution. The same site works perfectly fine in Chrome.

Another issue, i tend to notice more frequently in comparison but still very rare is where the whole site is greyed out or no buttons or links work. Possibly because you must click on accept or some button/link that I am unable to see or access despite all efforts. so, you give up!

Since my last update (using ver 129), I can no longer switch to an alternate search engine from the list on the menu bar. My alternates are there but nothing happens when I select one.

This isn't a question, its a complaint.

The performance of Firefox with upload speed is TERRIBLE! I have multiple computers, all with Windows OS's and Firefox installed as the main browser. Each of them report back lower than actual upload speed.

Other browsers like Edge, chrome, and a CLI tool on linux all report my actual download/upload speeds.

I have tried the various about:config and profile changes as a work around that I found here and alsewhere, none of them work.

I'm downloading Firefox to a windows 11 Surface. In settings, I receive a 'set default file types and link types' but I have no idea how to accept/say yes/set default.

Hey I've reinstalled my PC i installed Firefox. Login to Firefox Sync. And now it's empty. no tabs, no passwords, everything is gone. I usually do this every time and it work. I am sync my Android phone with all my passwords and bookmarks
