even though i have run several virus scans several times, mozilla firefox popup claims:

can't turn off popup. then another popup claims norton payment denied.

Today while using the email got message to compact folder so i did and left it, after 30 min came back with a message that TB crashed, reopened it and found that i can see the emails subject but they don't open. Searched the form and tried the repair option but after it finished it deleted all the emails from 2018 till now and i can see the emails of 2017 only (the first year of usage) -i tried deleting the .msd file but didn't help

-Created new profile and copied the inbox folder to it but still can see old emails only.

-- i sent a test email from my mobile to my email and it received it but the emails on the server that was downloaded before the crash are not downloaded again - i did search on email address that iam sure that we communicated recently only and i could see all the emails in the search but when i try to open it its empty

HI I have had firefox for a long time & never ran into a problem when it updated. 2 nights ago I was on line & the box came up to update & I did as I always do. When it updated my home page was gone & all my tool bars & items I had on them as well as all my bookmarks. I put aol as my browser but nothing else came back. can you help me. Life long outlook user and switched to Thunderbird a year ago. It has its quirks and I have learned to deal with them so all good. I run a micro business from home and totally rely on apps. The only app that is local is Thunderbird. All others are cloud-based. Wondering if Thunderbird will develop a cloud platform alongside the local app? Happy to pay a subscription.

I recently updated Firefox to the latest version, and ever since, it crashes immediately on startup. I haven’t installed any new extensions or made any significant changes to my system. I’ve tried restarting my computer and reinstalling Firefox, but the issue persists.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Are there any known solutions to fix this crash issue? I really rely on Firefox for my daily browsing, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Deleting msf files does not solve the problem. Turning off windows firewall (a bad idea) does not solve the problem. I don't want to swich to a new mail program after years of using Thunderbird. Can anyone help?

I usually work with my computer hardwired to my router. For some reason, this is not working anymore and now I have my computer connected via wifi. As soon as I changed from cable to wifi, Thunderbird started to ask permission to connect to my Google account every time I open Thunderbird. Sometimes I have to grant permission several times. At some point, it stops and I can keep on with my work until the next time I restart my computer and open Thunderbird. Then the cycles starts all over again. Any ideas¿?

When I open T bird in win 10 or 11, it takes a couple of minutes to scan all my email accounts, during which time the program is too slow to be useable. Is there a fix for that?

Although I have my email trash folder set up to keep trash emails until I decide to manually remove them, many or most of them disappear as soon as I click on the trash folder. How do I fix that so trash emails aren't automatically deleted?

Hello. I am not familiar with this end to end encryption that Facebook now does for Messenger but now when I try to use Video Calling/Chat it tells me it is not supported by my browser, Firefox. I have never had any problems with it before. Is there a fix? Thanks

Can someone please give me some troubleshooting tips on the Thunderbird email client on Windows 10?

I am running version: 128.1.0esr (64-bit) on Windows 10, and it started a very annoying hang / non-responsive behavior recently, and updates do not fix the symptom.

Thunderbird needs to change its coding very soon because all Google Gmail account holders who are transferring their mail to Mozilla will no longer have access near the end of the month. Google is cutting us off. They say that it's a security issue because they cannot verify authorization. Since their decision is final, Mozilla Thunderbird must adapt by changing the email programming before August 24th.

So, Mozilla, what are you going to do and why has this been kept quiet? It seems that Microsoft will still cooperate but forget Google.

Dear Representative, Every morning about 3 emails on my MacBookPro Thunderbird app have the right subject heading, but are populated with machine language from Oxford Academic like that below. I can read the real email on my phone or through Google, but not Thunderbird on my computer. What can I do to solve this problem? Thanks.

I have a gmail account scoteng19611@gmail.comset up in thunderbird, it was initially set up om my windows PC. On my iphone message only appear after several weeks if at all, WHY? My other gmail account arthur3thornton@gmail.com access via my browser seems to appear without any problem.
