This feature has suddenly appeared and I absolutely detest it! I don't need it, don't like it, don't want it! I have searched everywhere on how to disable it. PLEASE tell me there is an option to do that.

I downloaded the latest version for my mac and now when I open a new window or webpage like Gmail as soon a it loads it crashes. How do I fix this? Like if I open a new tab and say I select the weather. As soon as the web page loads it crashes.

i have bought another mac 2013 with big Sur system installed and i am not seeing firefox in the app store ? is there any solution how can i get in my mac ?

I went to Ugsound.com accidently while using Firefox on my Imac. The Firefox warning came up immediately and I left the site. Did Firefox protect me from malicious virus or was it too late? I was on the site for maybe 7-8 seconds.

hi fellas i just bought macbook air 2012 in which OS is high seara and with no updates i want to ask that firefox works on older version like high seara ? anyone with personal experience?

I have downloaded and deleted Firefox a dozen times and history and cache and still it is not allowing me to have the Chose User Profile to pop up

I have been trying for the last 2 days to get the Firefox -Choose User Profile to come up and each time I add the below in the terminal

/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/Firefox-bin -P

I get

Alans-MacBook-Pro:~ alanbmillard$ /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/Firefox-bin -P -bash: /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/Firefox-bin: No such file or directory Alans-MacBook-Pro:~ alanbmillard$

So it states no such file or directory when Firefox is definately in the Applications folder

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you in advance

Ok, first of all, I know I did something really stupid. Firefox was not loading for me, so I used Clean My Mac to uninstall it and reinstall it. I did not realize that my profile information (bookmarks/passwords) was saved locally, and I didn't back anything up.

I know! Very stupid. I've already tried using a data recovery software, and that did not help at all. I think my original profile data might be lost.

However, I have sync on, and all of the profile data on my phone is still there. Is there any way to transfer all of my bookmarks and passwords from my phone to my desktop?

I need to fora a scrollbar on a page that "pops up" but lacks scrollbar

I am running very high CPUs with firefox and it is keeping my computer very warm even when the lid is closed and it should be sleeping and it seems to be the reason my battery life is so short - no more than an hour or two at most.

I have been looking online for all the troubleshooting routes, but I've tried so many with the same result. I've trashed and redownloaded it on my Mac multiple times and cannot even get into the options to toggle and choose. I have to usually quit firefox for anything to even happen when I click, but when I've seen it stop bouncing, it just shows it's stopped responding. I really like Firefox more than Brave and Chrome, if you could please help, I'd appreciate it. Other browsers like Chrome and Brave still work, and I just dowloaded and started using Brave in the meantime.

Hi all. For several years now I have noticed one problem: when I want to go to a page from my bookmarks, the browser simply refreshes the current page. I'm on some website and I want to open my bookmark in the same tab, so as not to open a new tab. But the site is simply updated and the bookmark is not navigated. Browser version 127.0.2 macos M1

I have set "*.azconfig.io" domain to be bypassed in my Mac OS (v14.4.1) proxy settings which Safari honors but not Firefox (v128.0).

Addl info: My Proxy setting uses the pac configuration provided by my organization.

Have a macbook pro. Have not updated firefox in a while due to this message I get when i go to "about firefox" "Updates disabled by your system administrator" This is my personal laptop for the last few years, nobody has ever used it. I AM the administrator. Many posts online about this message for windows and linux but cannot find a fix for Mac, or why this is happening.

How do i update please? Having a lot of latency issues of late so need to update.

All of a sudden I am not able to download files on my MacbookPro in Firefox. I am using Version 126 on Mac OS 12.7.5 Monterey.

Downloads are working if I use Safari, but I do not use it. I just used it for testing purposes. Is anybody else having this problem? I've already "refreshed" Firefox per their suggestion.

It used to be that Firefox had different containers. I kept separate ones for shopping, banking, Facebook, etc. Now I had to erase my MacBook Pro IOS, and after a few days of trying to use Safari, I installed Firefox. But I can no longer see the possibility of using containers. I found them particuarly helpful when I had more than one account for a certain platform - with containers, I didn't need to sign out and sign in to switch users. It also (supposedly) kept Facebook from tracking our interests. Has Firefox done away with containers? Or have I simply forgotten what they are called (buckets, maybe?). I searched and searched the help articles to no avail. If they have done away with them, why?

By the way, Chrome (which I had to use at work) started offering a similar product and it was also very helpful.

When printing - print font continually changes. Is there a way to set the print font ?

When accessing print option, it is necessary to go in and out of print mode to get the page to print in desired font. Why is this happening, and is there a way to select a specific font where all printing will adhere to?
