As a longtime user of Firefox, I had a nice setup where after the start page, clicking on the Firefox icon would take me to a page headed "Firefox" in large letters. On that page I had placed the icons for my frequently used programs. Each of the small "icon boxes" had menus that would allow entering a URL so that when clicked, the desired app would open. I was exploring MS Bing, mostly because I like the pictures they put up each day. It looks as though a "new Improved" version of Bing brings along the new MS AI component. Together they seem to have removed my Firefox setup or hidden it where I can't retrieve it. By using Firefox settings, I was able to remove the Bing URL. Good riddance!, but can I retrieve my page of links to most-used programs? I don't know where to look for that. If I have to reconstruct it, how is that done. Or how can I start a replacement. Is there a way to set a separate theme for the private browsing option? I like being able to visually distinguish between the normal browser and the private one, but enabling a theme seems to set the same visuals for both.

If separate themes are not a thing, perhaps they could be added in a later update?

Ive tried everything under the Sun to try to get rid of that Annoying ( Sign in with Google) out of my computer but nothing works ?? Is there a solution ?? I cannot open most of my Sites with it there !! Anyone Please HELP !!

I have been having consistent issues with Youtube when played on Firefox. Opening the "Stats for Nerds", I see that I have decent connection speed. However, I get a burst of network activity, and then it stops. Therefore, i can't watch the video. Refreshing Youtube does not help at all.

Trying on other browsers, I do not have issue. While I sometimes get low network activity, most often than not, I can play Youtube videos fine.

I have done the following:

• Confirmed that I'm running the latest Firefox version (127.0.0)
• Cleared Firefox cache
• Confirmed having issue (sometimes worse as I get no network activity even on refresh) on Firefox Troubleshoot mode

Im currently reading books (pdfs) in firefox and I would like to hide the scroll bar. Im using full screen mode and especially the bar the the bottom is annoying while reading. I've seen a few topics posted about this issue but they are from a few years back and the solution posted doesn't seem to work anymore. (creating profile/chrome/userChrome.css with some code) But maybe the code is just outdated or I did something wrong. Im not too sure.

The best solution to me would be to just hide the bottom scroll bar. I didnt find any option in about:config except for making them (bottom and right) both thinner.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

There is a folder on my Google drive called "Personality-provider". It has about 30 .json files. When is search "Personality-provider" on internet the results indicate this folder and files are associated with Firefox. A. Why are these stored on my google drive? B. Can I delete them from my google drive? C. What are these files? D. Are they necessary for me to have backed up? See images. Many thanks. Will

I just started having an issue while watching Live Streams on Youtube with FireFox. I'll load the live stream and it will run for about a minute then it will switch to the streamers previous recorded stream. I opened Youtube on my iPad and on Edge browser and the Live stream keeps playing the live stream but on FireFox it only lets it run for about a minute before flipping the playback to the previous recorded video of that streamer. I tried clearing my cache for Youtube and I have no extensions running. I have Youtube Premium and run no adblockers. I have also tried safe mode but the problem persists.

Any idea what could be happening?

I need working versions of Firefox not messes like I have been getting recently. 127.1 lost most of my passwords and won't link to websites I use every day. This version is a mess. I have had to go through and reset multiple passwords, and can't login to websites I use every day. Check your updates before you release them. I know have firefox set to not upgrade automatically.

When pasting text into Outlook Online the text removes the preceding space. A minor inconvenience but it does mean I have to double space before pasting.

Also after pasting text I get a paste box that locks out any controls unless I click out of it or press ESC. (image below)

Text being copied from inside Outlook doesn't pop up the box.

This problem is only happening with Firefox as using a different browser (i.e. chrome at office) does not do either of the problems. Anyway to fix either option?

My master password no longer accepted. every time I try to use it {recently} I get a response please put your master password. It keeps asking me over and over with no result. please help. Thanks.

How can I use Firefox for private browsing or anything when you cannot even keep me as your Default Browser? Edge changes it everytime!! For over a year, I've used my Firefox browser to read the Kindle books. In the top right corner there should be six icons representing 1. Table of contents 2. Search 3. Reader settings (size of font and one or two columns) 4. Annotations 5. Add bookmark 6. Reader menu - this should have five dropdown items including "go to page" which is missing. It now only displays the first and the last, and I want to use "go to page" which is missing.

Another failure of going to the right page - when I log into Firefox on my desktop after browsing Kindle on my Kindle reader, Firefox is meant to go automatically to where I have been reading on the table. Instead it goes to the beginning of the book. That looks like the same problem - failure to go to the right page.

It works fine on Opera but I have to look up my passwords and type in the URL, whereas my Firefox browser shows Kindle along the top, and my password manager works for Firefox. So Opera is very inconvenient.

I guessed that my version of Firefox has become corrupted, but couldn't find how to re-install it.

My computer (Windows 11) crashed while I was using Firefox--for the first time that I've seen, it did a full disk check. When booting back up, I was unable to use Firefox, since it said that my profiles.ini file was lost/corrupted.

After renaming the old file, I went back to the folder. It was easy enough to reinstall the add-ons that I needed, but I'm trying to get my bookmarks back. However, I can't seem to find them--the "bookmarkbackups" folders that come up are too new, and only one (the current one) has a file in it.

Any help will be appreciated! I'm not sure what I can do.

When the youtube video is opened, it shows the loading circle without any possibility to start a video. After first refresh of the page it shows the thumbnail of the video, but play button still doesn't work. And then after second refresh it sometimes begin to work properly. The problem exists only on Youtube and its videos. Thank you.

A couple of days ago, I started getting error popups from malwarebytes on Firefox outbound to data.our.news on every page I access. Please see the attached screenshot. Why is Firefox doing this?

As of 2024 06 20 there are many websites that I cannot login anymore one being Facebook with this message:Update Your Browser You’re using a web browser that isn’t supported by Facebook.
