The new edition released today doesn't allow the Keyboard "Return" Key to accept the recommended spelling correction. You must now click the "Replace" Icon in the Check Spelling Pop-up. Is there a setting/other where this can be adjusted/modified so that the Keyboard Return Key works again?

Hello, I transferred my emails from online MAC to local folders on an external drive, then re-copied them as my local folders on the WIN laptop... Yet after re-starting, the emails subject only shows-up while the message shows 0 bytes, despite the Inbox file shows >8GB, but is not recognized/read by the app. (seems to me indexing was lost?). Tried to import the file from the app's tool, but it didn't work as the tool expected a profile or outlook file. Any help to migrate my emails in a readable format? Thx.

Hello, I'm Christian. I am still facing issues changing my Thunderbird into an IMAP account, for following reasons: -exporting the existing is OK -creating the IMAP account is OK -Reimporting the messages from previous POP3 account difficult, because: -when using the import fonction, a local folder is being created with a directory three that looks liked the previous Dir structure I had previously. But transfering the folder and files proves difficult, the copy/paste function does not work properly so I can't just click and drag. My thunderbird folder is approx. 20g, could that be the reason? Furthermore, I cannot delete the previous POP3 account or the local folders. Any idea why? I actually do have a thunderbird account (POP3) comprises of 4 differents email addresses, I can delete 3, but not the last one as it appears to be the default one. When you navigate to a web site which is slow to respond the address bar keeps showing the previous address until the web page loads or a network error occurs. It may take minutes. It happens for instance when clicking a a web search result or when the site itself redirects to another web page.

This Firefox behavior is there for years and I even remember that Internet Explorer had the same behavior during its era.

Is there any particular reason to do that? Because I only see downsides: for instance, you can't copy the URL to check in another program or device.

Somebody might argue that it's because you can press Esc during load and stay on the previous page. I think it would be more convenient to revert the address bar value when this happens.

Starting yesterday, 10 Aug, I can't sign into Kaiser Permanente. Never had this problem before. Message is:

The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

This is the second important site with sign in problems. Can you cut whatever you are dong out so I can visit kp.org, and bank of america? I can sign in fine on all the other browsers just fine. Includes Brave, Chrome and Edge.

I looked this problem up, and the nonsense given to fix this problem is impossible to follow as it must be old. What shall I do, just avoid using this browser? This has been my base browser for years. Perhaps it is time to make a change.

I recently had to re-install Thunderbird for technical reasons. I lost all my saved emails (in folders) but they are still on the server's website - Bigpond. I have contacted Bigpond but they state it is not possible to export them to my email account. Can you please help with a solution? Thanks Chris

I am running TB 115.14.0 on a Mac. The layout is unlike anything I've seen before and I can't find a way to restore the layout I am used to and greatly prefer. Most obviously there are no column headers and no separate "From" column. I have seen several references to similar problems and a couple of them referred to "card view" vs. "table view," but I see no reference to those settings anywhere in my installation and the pages mentioning them do not seem to be describing TB for Mac.

This problem means I have no way of sorting messages by sender. (I can of course search for a given sender but that is hardly the same thing.) This problem has me thinking for the first time in years of looking for another email client. I hope there is a solution.

Life long outlook user and switched to Thunderbird a year ago. It has its quirks and I have learned to deal with them so all good. I run a micro business from home and totally rely on apps. The only app that is local is Thunderbird. All others are cloud-based. Wondering if Thunderbird will develop a cloud platform alongside the local app? Happy to pay a subscription.

Although I have my email trash folder set up to keep trash emails until I decide to manually remove them, many or most of them disappear as soon as I click on the trash folder. How do I fix that so trash emails aren't automatically deleted?

I lost an SSD, from which most data was recovered in some form or another. The original profile is recovered, and original files of type .mozmsgs, .sbd, .msf, plus others, matching original local folder structure. Files in the folder types have the structure as if you looked at individuals in the Thunder profile dir on a working copy of Thunderbird.. something like this header:

My current Thunderbird will not open these files, nor is there an option to import, unless I want to import the entire profile, which I am reluctant to do at this stage. If this action appended to or added to my current Thunderbird, I think I could be ok with that.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
