Thank you to David & Toad-Hall who kindly worked to get my Thunderbird to download my messages from Juno in a series of support messages in mid-July.

I have worked with KW, a computer help person at my senior center. I have a follow up appointment with KW on Fri 8/16, 1 pm MDT. Last session KW succeeded in re-setting the STMP server port to 25 and the POP3 server to 110. See screen shots.

This did NOT enable Tbird to download my messages from JUNO. There was a' change, Tbird would no longer SEND messages via my Juno account, earlier it would send test messages. see 3rd screen shot

Like Toad-Hall, KW is suspicious that the last message Tbird downloaded from Juno 6/26 that directed me to reset my password in Juno was malicious. We reset my password and Juno & Tbird both open with the new password I set up directly from the Juno webpage.

KW suggests I ask you if it is possible to deinstall & reinstall Tbird, Might that restore Tbird to function? Would I lose the contents of my saved messages in folders?

I really love my Thunderbird! I like to work off-line, I like storing my files on my computer computer.

Unable to log into office.com platforms

When i try log into office.com for example i get the attached error, i have troubleshot with MS support, they cannot resolve it, the websites works on newly installed browsers, but the two installed browsers, safari and mozilla do not work, cleared cache, history etc and also reinstalled, no luck, please advise re the issue happening on firefox and if you can resolve it we will contact apple for the safari issue

ms believe it is a browser problem which it could be but two browsers stopped working at the same time and only newly installed browsers that have never been on the mahcine work, reinstalled old browsers do not work

When I use firefox for the first few minutes everything works great, but after about 5 minutes the browser stops refreshing old pages and will not load new pages. If I close the browser and reopen it the same thing will happen... works for a bit and then stops. I have cleared browser history and cookies and this did not help. Any advice?

I have updated to 128.1.0esr (64 bit) and now I can't see the content of many sent messages. The content does not appear neither in the message panel nor when I open the message in a new window. If I try to forward or reply to the message it's empty and has no recepients and no subject - like a new empty message.

Strangely, I can't figure out how to add to someone else's post if it doesn't already have replies so I'm having to start my own thread. Anyway...

Thunderbird on my system is 32-bit on 32-bit Windows and a day or two ago it updated itself to version 115.10.1. Since then it's been slow at sending emails, receiving emails, applying filters and pretty much everything else. Is this being worked on? I saw a couple of similar reports from other people here but like I said, I can't add a reply to them.

And if it's not known about or being worked on, is there some way I can roll back an update?

Ever since I've been upgraded to Thunderbird 128, I've been experiencing constant hangs. I'm running the latest versions of Thunderbird and Windows 10. My antivirus software is Windows Security.

This issue seems to be most acute whenever Thunderbird checks for new messages. Thunderbird's CPU usage jumps to between 25 and 30%, and memory and disk usage also skyrocket. Thunderbird freezes completely, and everything other program that's running at the time is slowed to a crawl for several minutes minutes. Troubleshoot Mode doesn't help.

Any suggestions?

I was facing the issue with Firefox 128.0.3 and today I downloaded firefox 129.0 and the issue continues. When I put any URL I get a "Server not found" message. It is even there for firefox.com site

i was able to see all of the emails for some accounts that no longer have a working login, but now they are all just empty with only 1 fake inbox folder, so where did it all go and how can i get them back? it even finds them via the main ctrl+k search, but dont show any in the inbox folder anymore (there are also no profiles under the hamburger help menu etc... and i probably just copied them into a new folder after renaming the 1st clean installation folder etc...)

When I click on the mail, the attachment icon disappears and instead the body of the mail shows the text content of the jpg file. That is, lots of lines of random characters :) How to fix this because it is impossible to pull the jpg file from the mail?

After getting help from you to delete all Thunderbird data on my old laptop (Many thanks David!) I successfully installed a new copy of the software. I copied all the information that my desktop p.c. uses to collect my emails but the new Thunderbird on my laptop will not accept the server and logon information. "Thunderbird failed to find the settings for your email account" They work without any problems with Thunderbird on my PC. There does not seem to be an option to manually set up the server information. I have tried both POP3 and IMAP but neither work. Any help welcome.

For some time now, every time I start Thunderbird I always have to scroll down the subject list to see the latest mail subject: Reason: the preview area covers the list (overlay), it's not separately divided under the list, like it used to be!
