After I've had a window open for between 5 minutes and half an hour, the address bar stops working. I need to open a new window in order for it to work again. I can click on the favorites on the homepage and those work but if I search or input an address into the address bar nothing happens.

A few years ago jscher2000 gave me wonderful instructions for how to create some of the features that were once easy for ordinary users like myself to control through an Extension called TabMixPlus. Apparently there was some big disagreement between the developer and Firefox and they completely disabled it. At any rate, I'm continually frustrated when I accidentally move a pinned tab to a new window while trying to move or resize Firefox. I would like to know how, in about:config, I can create a setting with which I can protect pinned tabs. Thanks.

When I try to print and use the "print to pdf" printer, the save button does nothing. I can print to my printer, but I cannot create pdf's. I am using Firefox 129.0 and Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS

Hi, new here! Using TB 128 on win 11. Below the mini calendar in the today pane I have a list of events showing. I also have events entered for future and previous months. When I click on one of the arrows next the month, the month switches over but the events list does not. E.g., the month shows October and the events list still shows August. Is that how the calendar is supposed to work?

I haven't tried to print an email for some time. Tried today and just get an endless "preparing preview" message -see the attached screenshot. I can't find any setting to select a printer etc so I am stuck.

Questions re Email Inbox and Reply window:

1) I can't find a list here showing the Inbox icons and what they mean, specifically this one. I can't delete it, nor do I see anything in the inbox list of column indicators that it might be. I'd like to know what it's for and if/how it can be removed.

2) I want to have more space for the message pane; the only way to do this is to have a smaller font size for the email List pane. I don't see where I can change this. Is it possible to decrease this font size? I've tried but haven't t been able to locate info on this website.)

3) Reply font: I keep changing it to my Preference, but it keeps going back to a default.

Also, find it annoying that I can't select a specific font SIZE. I've never seen a Windows desktop software of ANY kind, not just email, which doesn't give have choice of font size as well as the font itself. Is there a suggestion area on this website?

• I performed a "repair folder"
• emails after 9/2021-today have disappeared

It appears that other folders are intact.

How can I get back emails from the missing years, especially this past year?

Hello, I have three issues with my Sent items / Sent folder. Issue 1: Sent emails from 7/30/21 to 1/15/24 are missing. Issue 2: Sent emails from 1/15/24 to 8/7/24 are missing. Issue 3: When clicking to open a sent email from yesterday or older, the From and Subject will be blank and the Content will be displayed as: --------------090809000502050303050709—

After googling for help, I went to Edit / Folder Properties / Repair Folder. That did not help. If I “search” for a missing email, it will be listed in the results, but when I click to open, “No message found”. Thank you.

Hi, I installed Firefox for IOS today and since I installed it I got this problem : whenever I want to sync my infos on my iPhone, it says the sync is offline, I tried to change WiFi and tried to reinstall several times the app, I also created another account and logged out my phone several times. Nothing works, each time I open the app and I click on sync now, it says that sync is offline. I can’t get my bookmarks, parameters, passwords etc.. it’s very annoying, if anyone knows a solution to make it work, I would be very grateful to hear it..

My microphone has recently stopped working on Firefox, and Firefox only.

It works in Chrome, Edge, and Opera.

I have tried reinstalling Firefox (and testing the mic with a clean install), reinstalling all of my audio drivers, and even changing the frequency of my Windows sound to a lower one. Nothing has worked.

My laptop is a Lenovo Slim Pro 9i (if it matters) and my microphone is an Intel Smart Array.

I have completely run out of ideas, so anything will help at this point.

I can't get any app from Google to stay open. It's a nightmare. I've restarted several times. Doesn't help. Everyother page is working.

Is this a bug in the latest version?

I get this same message. The page flashes on then crashes and this message appears.

all of a sudden Thunderbird would not "Send" any email ... a box comes up wanting the password for the Outgoing Server but Thunderbird will not accept the password which is correct and has actually been used before when this same problem happened

For lack of anything better I'm using TBird as an HTML editor.

I'm writing a rather long paper that includes many images. Backing up as I go, I use the 'Export Message As > HTML Format > Messages And Attachments' ... and it works fine and processes the images this way:

Anyway -- this is kinda hard to explain -- as long as I was 'working within TBird' everything was fine, but I ended up modifying my HTML via text editor to do a few things that were impossible to do in the graphical TBird screen (tweaking some math equations). So now my draft message needed to be updated with the new HTML. I use 'Insert > HTML' and paste in the entire contents of my paper and then Send it to myself. I get it back, open it and there's no images, just blank boxes.

But ... and this is interesting ... if I then take that message and save it again as HTML (as above) then if I view that HTML in FireFox, voila! It shows the images. So how can I take my HTML, import it to an email and then 'Edit As New Message' or whatever trick is needed to have the paper back with it's images intact? I hope that's not too confusing.

I'm on tb 128 and use roadrunner. I see my emails on spectrum server but can't download them? I was using pop, they said imap is needed.

I have used Thunderbird for several years with two emails from brighthouse.com (now spectrum). One of the accounts recently (2 week) started prompting for password and never accepts my password as valid. I still can get emails on it but can't send.

I am using the same password I use to get access to account on my second email account on Thunderbird, as well as the spectrum webmail app, and my cell phone without issue.

Attached are screenshots of the server settings for IMAP and SMTP. Your help would be appreciated.
