About once per week, I'll be using Firefox and it will stop working. I'll close it and open it again and it gives me an error message "The application "Firefox" can't be opened."

If I download Firefox and reinstall it, everything will work fine for another week and then it will do it again. I'm not doing the same thing when it breaks. It does it on both my Mac Mini (macOS 14.5) and my Mac laptop (macOS 12.7.5).

It just started happening in May on both. Nothing has changed on both that I can think of.

Hello, I use Duck Duck Go as a default search engine, with Google and others as alternatives. Since I switched my compter, Firefox resets the default engine back to ebay, which cannot be deleted in the list and also shows up in the address bar. Could you please tell me how to get rid of it? Hi, Archived thread on this from 2023 has no answers. Why is this browser so slow now and why is it glitching with resizing my windows? Beyond a total reinstall - how completely inconvenient - I would like an EASY FIX.

Copying text with the latest version of Firefox 127.0.1 (64-bit) does not catch all lines of a page and its text the marking of these lines are ignored the same page text works if using Chrome

Those marked grey (in attached file) are the only that are captured as all the rests are left out even if they was intended to be marked .

Any help would be appreciated!!!

For over a month now i have a problem with youtube. It loads videos very badly. I have good connection speed, but 0 network activity and 0 buffer health in Stats For Nerds on youtube and videos dont load. I can wait for 10-15 minutes (but sometimes they load almost instantly) before video load 40 sec buffer and after that buffer ends i can wait for another 10 minutes befor it load buffer again.

This problem persist only in my firefox on my computer. I tried deleting all the extensions, reinstalling firefox, "refresh firefox" future, changing useragent, reinstalling windows (it was the time anyways) but it doesnt solve the problem. I dont have this problem in other browsers (edge, librewolf, chrome) on my computer.

OS: win 11 x64 Firefox 127.0 x64

My laptop uses Window 11. On the web Bet365, I view live streams video by Picture in Picture mode of Firefox (hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+]) and see that the quality of video is very bad. I tested with Chrome and didn't see this issue. Is there any way to improve video quality of Firefox Picture in Picture mode?

Hello! I have the latest version of the Mozilla browser installed. The entire interface is installed in Russian. Mozila has a service for automatically translating website content into other languages. Unfortunately, the set of languages ​​does not include Russian, so that I could automatically translate information from sites, for example in Spanish, into Russian and read such information. In the settings I found a function to switch the language translation, but unfortunately there is no Russian language again. Please tell me how can I set up such a translation? Or is there no such service at all for the Russian language?

There is an issue with 3 extensions: 1. Briskine. 2. Simple Gmail notes. 3. Boomerang. This issue is taking place only when Briskine is active and only on Firefox.

When Briskine is active Simple Gmail notes does not display at all. Boomerang does not display correctly so there is no access to the full screen and options.

This only happens with Firefox, not with Chrome or Edge. Also, it is a know issue that's been going on for a while. I wish it could be fixed. Thank you Adam [removed phone# and email from public support forum]

It opens regularly in every other browser I have.

I have in my laptop a external webcam a Logitech Webcam C930e. The webcam is a HD webcam with 1080p. But in Google Meet in Firefox I can only configure it at 720p but in Chrome I can configure it at 1080p. Why have that behavior?

I have a 2nd identical "other" folder located in the "other" folder. They are somehow linked to each other, so that if I try to delete a bookmark under the 2nd duplicate one, it deletes it from both. If I select something in one folder and then click on the second one that selected item shows under the second as well. I don't want two folders but cannot delete or change anything or it deletes the original as well. Other than restoring an old bookmark backup to replace this defective one does anyone have any solution to fixing this? Thanks Cheers

Hi! I have more than one device for Audio connected to my laptop. Obviously the default device provide by laptop but also I have a Jabra Headset EVOLVE 20 SE MS and Jabra Speaker SPEAK 510 USB/ Bluetooth. Also my webcam Logitech C930e provide a microphone.

When I use Google Meet, in Chrome I can select on Meet Audio Device Select the different microphone or Speakers but in Firefox I can only select the Default System Speaker.

I would like to know how to change between my Audio Devices for the output or can switch between my different speakers.

I have a very good PC (5800X3D, 7900XT, 32GB DDR4 3600), but Firefox (either the normal, canary and nightly version) can't play smoothly any 4K video (like the Borderlands trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU_NKNZljoQ ). 1440 and lower resolutions are fine, as are 4K videos on Chrome and Edge. FWIW, my CPU during 4K playback is barely used (1-2%), and my GPU's video codec (VCE) is used by around a third. Disabling HW accel makes things better, as it still stutters but it's (barely) passable. I already tried creating a new profile, but still it's the same.
