I want to access a banking site (Capitec.co.za) but am unable to land on their splash page - I just get a blank page, and wait. I can get access via TOR or Opera. I was told to enter using SAFE MODE "Shift+R+Firefox". Anyone know what the issue is? Without guessing. Windows on Thinkpad.

I am using the latest release of FIREFOX (in French), with Windows 10, regularly updated.

FIREFOX worked fine when I turned off my desktop on august 10. The next morning, Firefox could not connect to ANY website. I get a message telling me that "the secure connection has failed": PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR (see screenshot).

EDGE and CHROME work fine but cannot update to the latest version [Error OX 80072EFE] (see screenshot) THUNDERBIRD works fine.

I tried all sorts of solutions found on reliable websites. None of them worked. - Turning the router OFF then ON - Using Firefox "self-repair" mode - Uninstalling Firefox, then reinstalling a new, "clean" version - Checking the system clock (it is fine) - Turning OFF Microsoft Windows Defender - Turning OFF Kaspersky Anti Virus - Reinstalling Kaspersky's certificate in Firefox - Checking Firefox certificates in Windows' firewall

Can anyone please find a solution? I share Mozilla's philosophy and would hate to say goodbye to Firefox, but…

I've been researching for a long time how it’s possible to save a website as a PDF with Firefox by keeping the hyperlinks active. The applications that Firefox offers are inadequate. This means that if I want to save pages on different sites outside of the web search, they are not saved correctly as PDFs. There are applications that also keep hyperlinks active, but with the problem that the scaling of a page no longer corresponds to what it actually has. Alternatively, reference is often made to other browsers such as Chrome or Opera. I know it's running there as it should be, but I want to keep using Firefox. When I search on YouTube I only find trivial things like how to save a PDF in general. I already know how to save PDFs in general, but it is explicitly possible that hyperlinks also remain active which seems like nobody is interested in. This is a major problem. I just don't understand why something as trivial as an A4 sized page of hyperlinks requires 7+ hours of fruitless research? It seems like I'm someone who's only interested in simply having an HTML to PDF with active hyperlinks. Do any of you have experience with this situation? I would like to mention that I also tried wkhtmltopdf. But the conversion with this tool is cumbersome and is no longer necessary for “just a quick save”. My question: How is it possible?

I do not understand why AFTER I used Firefox Delete History that my Charter.net email can no longer be accessed.' I AM AT HOME! I worked/talked with 4 different Charter/Spectrum people on the phone over a 3 day period. briefly I was able to get into the Charter account (Necessary because my VA & other medical appointments/communications are via charter.net) using Microsoft Edge. I no longer can. I am getting that message on Edge as well. I do not want to use Edge or Chrome, I want to use my Mozilla/Firefox/Thunderbird But that is another issue which I cannot get resolved. My monthly contributions to both get through but I cannot even get into Thunderbird for Months & can't get help. At 83, I am computer challenged. Nobody wants to make house calls. What is wrong? I'm running Firefox version 129.0.2 on my laptop...HP Windows 11 Home 64-bit Version: 22631.4112; 16GB Memory; AMD Ryzen 7 7840U w/ Radeon(TM) 780M Graphics. I thought that I had disabled co-pilot, but apparently not. I've attached a photo of the pop-up window. Thanks for any help Lenny

Following a recent Ubuntu update from 20.04 to 22.04, Firefox 129.0.2 has started spamming my syslog with messages like:

[Parent 39719, IPC I/O Parent] WARNING: process 262891 is a zombie: file /builds/worker/checkouts/gecko/ipc/chromium/src/base/process_util_posix.cc:245

These seem harmless, but I'd like to identify a way to suppress the warnings, because they're mucking up my syslog. Is there a setting in about:config that would do that? I see lots of log-related settings there set to Warn, but have no idea which one could silence the warnings I'm seeing. Any tips or suggestions are much appreciated!

I followed the advice but there are 'no' crash reports are created when this happens.

It always seems to be when I'm typing in a text field (and possibly typing control keys too).

I've googled 'short cut' keys for Windows to see if something I'm typing is doing it but haven't found anything.

So other than installing a keylogger on my device is there any other way to figure out what is going on?

Does Firefox have a log file? If so is there a log that says ..."User closed the browser". That would tell me it is me typing something in that is somehow telling the browser to close.

I also don't see any app crash reports in MS Event Viewer. Will Firefox crashes show up there?

2x in the last 4 days my Lycos/Mailcity email account will not function. However when I switch to a different browser it works fine. I receive the red triangle with a white exclamation point. Can you help me fix it please? Renee Harvey Email hidden for privacy reasons

When I try to login in to websites (example Calm Radio) the Submit or Log In type of buttons don't activate. It does not hang or go into a spinning loop, no blank screen, etc. Just acts like there is no followup action to execute. The same buttons work on Edge or Chrome on the same computer. I have attached a screenshot as an example.

I'm having an issue with signing into my.elementor account using Firefox. I'm using the latest version of Firefox on Windows 11. There are no errors occurring from Firefox or anywhere else. I can sign in to my elementor account with other browsers (Chrome and Edge) no problem.

This started with the last couple of updates to Firefox. I've never had issues like this before with Firefox.

When I go to the elementor website and click on Sign In, the sign in page comes up. I normally click on the Sign in with Google. Then the Google popup shows then goes away in about 2 seconds and I am not signed into elementor. No errors at all.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue or can point me in the right direction to troubleshoot.

Elementor works fine when I'm building my website using Firefox.

Basically almost every time I turn on my PC I have to Restore the Firefox installation because it keeps pages loading forever without ever doing anything. Currently using Firefox Nightly without any issue of the sort except that every time I have to restore the install for regular Firefox some of the extensions go back to default configuration.

'I wonder if Firefox could be the source of a problem that I have recently encountered. All of the online subscriptions, clothing accounts (Lands End, LLBean, etc.) no longer accept my user names or passwords. Could the problem originate in a change in Firefox?

My girlfriend and I use Firefox on our computer where one of us deleted or removed Gmail and Google services from that computer in our home.. Is there anyway Firefox Could assist with accessing that Gmail or Google account. I’m the person who owns the MarcJ102171@gmail.com and only have access to that accounts other services via my TV

Firefox 129.0 (64bit) - Windows 10 (with current updates)

Sometimes (except when I'm demonstrating the problem of course) a Google search simply hangs. In the search field (next to the shield & lock) the website for the search appears, eg https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=how+secure+are+android+phones or https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=nsw+service+parking+meter+app there is no other response and no activity in bottom left corner of the window.

Simply clearing history (history, cookies, cached files, but not site settings) fixes the problem and the search can then be repeated and new searches done until the next time, when it's a case of rinse & repeat. No other action is required, which would seem to suggest that the problem isn't elsewhere.

This problem affects both my wife's and my PC (same configs), and has for several weeks, sorry can't be more precise as to when it started.

I was receiving emails previously from someone in my contacts until mid-summer. Now, their emails are not coming through. Today, was the latest problem. They said they sent me a link for a Zoom meeting & I did not receive this email from their business. They had to send it from their personal email account. Want to correct this problem. Where do I start??
