I think this is a new feature that let's you add background wallpaper. I tried it out when I was signed out and it seemed to work. But after I signed in with my Firefox account it doesn't show up.

I am developing a django website.

The login on the default admin page is not working when I am testing locally on my mobile. I assume it is because the connection is http (and not https) in order to protect the users (which is a good thing).

I assumed this is the problem, because on chrome, I got also blocked, but I got this hint.

Therefore following 2 stories:

• As a user, I wish I receive a feedback when something is blocked by the browser, so that I understand what is happening.
• As a developer, I wish I could allow login on whitelisted sites (local websites like 192.* ?), so that I can test my website on android without creating self-signed-certificates.

If my assumptions are wrong (but the server did not receive any call), do you know, how I can visualize the network calls on android?

As the title of the subject entails, I am trying to disable Firefox's new translation tool, becasue I'm using a 3rd party extension.

I tried to follow the solution on the following support thread ( [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1434741#question-reply] ), but it didn't work for me, and I'm still seeing the new translate button.

Is there another way to fix this?

I'm using Firefox 129.0.1 (64bit) for MacOS.

For the last 2 weeks I started having problems with Firefox working consistently. Sometimes only tabs crash, sometimes Firefox crashes. It is not tied to any actions, a tab can crash even if you don't perform any actions in the browser. I have tried clean install on Fedora and Vanilla OS, native and Flatpak packages. The result is always the same - tabs or Firefox crashes every few minutes.

It used to be that Firefox would remember where I saved similar files (from the same webpage I assume) in the past and save them to the same directory. That doesn't work anymore and I cannot find any setting for that. Now it always suggests the most recent place I saved to.

When I am using Google sheets in Firefox, I've noticed lately that using the mouse scroll wheel causes the sheet to scroll all the way down right to the very bottom of the sheet, rather than slowly one or two lines at a time. This has started happening recently, and it doesn't happen under Chrome or Edge. What is going on?

Even if you change the setting of Firefox about:config from "true" to "false", it will automatically change from "false" to "true".

privacy.userContext.enabled 

If you change "privacy.userContext.enabled" from "true to false" and check after restarting Firefox, it will revert to "false to true." It is unclear why it reverts to the original state.

Hello, My saved passwords do not work on certain sites on my Windows 11 computer and my Android smartphone. I have repaired firefox,and created a new profile as advised by members of the French forum.i have also created a new account. On the computer only, I no longer have the subtitles on the skillshare site. When I go to pinterest and deezer, the page does not display normally. I can't see the images in the duckduckgo search either, because I've been redirected to a non-javascript site. I had ccleaner, it was suggested to me that the problem came from there but I uninstalled it before creating the new profile. I also have bit defender free on my devices. Thank you.

I'm trying to set up Firefox on a new Windows 11 laptop and having issues.

First, I installed a couple of Add-ons and set them up, I use one to have a Home Page, and another for zoom percentage. And I went into each one and set them up as I want them. But when I closed FF and reopened it, they were gone, as if I didn't install them at all. And all the changes I made to the top part of the browser - icons and overall look - reverted back to what FF is "out of the box."

Also, on my old laptop, I went into about:config and changed the ui.textScaleFactor because the default FF top part is too wide for me. But when I went into it on the new laptop, and changed the number, nothing happened. On the old one, when you enter a different number and hit enter, the change is made immediately.

Also, I did make FF my default browser on the new laptop, at least I think I did. I clicked the link to do that, and it brought me to a window with a bunch of confusing extensions. I changed them all to Firefox, including E-Mail, and I don't even want FF being the default for E-mail. And I did click the check on top and clicked "Make FF the default browser." But when I open FF, I keep getting asked if I want to make FF my default browser and to pin it to the task bar. But it already is!

I should point out, that it's possible I downloaded FF twice, and may have installed it twice. But when I go to Install/uninstall files, just one is listed. And I only have one FF icon on my desktop.

So what is going on?

Today I was forced to reinstall my PC (nothing worked, a lot of problems etc). I was told that I don't need to use any backup for Mozilla (even if I wanted, my PC problems would not allow me to do that) because yesterday I've made a sync. After couple of hours of reinstalling the system I wanted to sync my account to get back my Bookmarks and turns out that sync does not restore them. I have all my plugins and that's all, none of the bookmarks. I've lost literally years of saved data.

At first I thought it was Facebooks issue but when I shared using Edge or Opera browser the share dialog DOES have a share button at the bottom of the share pop up dialog. Using Firefox, for what ever reason, it's cut off at the bottom so I have no way to share and have to copy the link and walk it over to Facebook or wherever to share anything. When I'm using Chrome Browser every Google related products working smoothly but when I'm using Firefox except (Google) every other websites working smoothly. I even clear cache a lot times & troubleshoot the Firefox too but still facing such problem. It just display No Internet Connection message just for Google products.
