Hi, I use multiple FF profiles to help with multiple logins to MS365, as I have to switch between MS365 accounts for client work. Using multiple profiles keeps cookies separate. FF is my default browser in Windows 11. However, when I click on a link, FF ignores my open FF instance (opened with the default FF profile). Instead it reopens one of my other profiles from disk, and opens the link in a new tab in that profile. That's not what I want, of course - but I also cannot understand why it is ignoring an open active FF default profile browser instance, and reopening a closed one from disk. Does anyone know how I can control this? To avoid this behavior I have made Vivaldi my default browser to open new links. That is crazy.

I have somehow set my email inbox such that when I double click on a new message I've received (or a previously opened message from that matter), rather than opening the message to read, it opens the email as a draft response to the sender and me, from me. What do I need to do or reset to go back to normal. Thanks ... Mark

Everytime I start firefox, none of my previous tabs are re-opened. This is the same even if I ENABLED "Open previous windows and tabs"

What is the problem?

I'm using Firefox version 128.0.2 (64-bit) for Windows OS

Please help, Firefox will not start. Last night after 8:00 PM 7/24/24 it would not open. I get this Windows 10 error message; XUL runner: Error platform version 128.0.2 is Not compatible with 128.0 min 128.0 max

Idk exactly what happened, other than that I changed emails on my Mozilla account and when I signed into connect.mozilla.org with it, it had me create a new username. My old profile page is still up.

Recently today I changed my firefox password, and successfully used my new password to login. Now I am unable to login successfully using what I believed to be my new password. A few minutes ago I was able to access gmail using my new password, but just now when I closed and reopened Firefox my password was not accepted.

I installed firefox from windows app store, because it would not install from the mozilla download. I did install however it will not connect with any web address. Absolutely none, I have tried all the typical solutions and none have worked. I had firefox for many years. I had to uninstall and do a fresh install. I am on a desktop running Windows 10 Pro X64. Please Help! I hate Chrome, (it is working but, I hate it).

I have auto fill password turned on, yet Firefox NEVER fills in the password, or my e-mail. Each and ever time I have to type it in, Firefox asks to save or update, I say yes, and password and e-mail are saved, yet the next I go to that site I have to type it in manually. I see the password and e-mail are saved accurately yet no auto-fill why?

I have a new windows laptop pc and trying to sync my information from this account to the firefox on the new laptop. I'm having a problem. I'm signed in on the old and the new but it will not sync to the new. What am I doing wrong? When I tried to sign Mozilla keeps telling me my pw is wrong! Huh? I'm signed in now. Is there a different pw for Firefox and Mozilla? I'm so confused!

Because of continuing problems with my Firefox browser I am wondering if it would be a good idea to just remove the program and install the latest version.

It is unresponsive a lot and very slow.

Hello: Q1- I moved Thunderbird from my C drive to my D drive but...C drive still contains active content Thunderbird uses. I'm not sure about when I backup my profile folder, all the data is really being backed up? eg. C:\Users\mdc\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\cy4sug48.default-release

      F:\Users\mdc\ProgramData\Thunderbird\Profiles\cy4sug48.default

I also changed all my Thunderbird registry entries to D drive. I don't understand why C drive is still active?

Q2- When I choose Import from a Thunderbird profile this comes up (see attached picture)? This directory does not exist! Where is it coming from?

I have been unable to connect to any website through firefox. Every other browser works. Can someone please help?

   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

Something isn't right with Firefox formatting especially when I'm in my Email system and Facebook and probably others . . . not all of the marker and colors are appearing but the photos look OK.

For example, what I am typing here . . . the letters are not a consistent "black" . . . some letters look sort of faint while some are full black and OK. Kind of hard to describe but it indicates that something is not completely working properly.

I have done every single thing including reinstalling Firefox. The Youtube videos will not buffer in my Firefox browser in ANY mode, safe, troubleshooting, etc. I got it to start after reinstalling then about a minute into the video it started buffering again. I can watch vids in ANY other browser, and am connected by ethernet to my router.
