Android 14, One UI 6.0, Samsung S22+

Firefox is using a large amount of battery while idle. You can see my app runs open a lot of the day, but not in use much. It has drained 20 percent of one days battery, and I am watching YouTube videos on another app (Grayjay btw check it out!) and it has used far less battery. If I set Firefox into a sleeping state, the app still drains a lot of battery. When in deep sleep,it stops draining as much power, but then Android keeps auto pushing their own browser to be my primary browser. I'm not sure what to do in this case, as it's too much of a hassle to have links not auto open in Firefox when in deep sleep. This excessive battery drain doesn't make sense, and I was wondering if there was any fix for this. Thanks for taking the time.

I recently updated to a new version of the Firefox Android app through the Play Store, and it changed the look of the lab list so that tabs were larger. However, it also seems to have changed the tolerance for my swiping to scroll through the list. Now, when I swipe to scroll up with my right thumb, it often closes the tab under my thumb rather than scrolling. This seems to be because my swipe is at an angle due to the way I am holding my phone, but before the update I never had this problem. It would be nice if the tolerance was adjusted back to the way it was or if I could disable the swipe to delete tab feature.

I don’t know if it was an update that automatically installed or something but all my tabs keep closing when I exit the app. All my private tabs I had open are gone :/ and I keep trying to leave tabs open, close the app, and open it again and they all still get erased. I saw this was a problem last year too but didn’t see if there was a solution or not.

While accessing my yahoo Mail account on the firefox browser for any length of time the Yahoo mail Will breakdown and completely lose all functions. While accessing my Wall Street Journal account on the firefox browser, I note that commentary on many articles is blocked. That is, the commentary section of the article shows no comments posted. However, when I switch to the Safari browser, the same article Will show multiple comments posted.

Firefox for Android doesn't handle captures very well it displays the captcha but it's so zoomed in, and it doesn't let you scroll left or right, that you can't see the submit button.

I tried reducing the zoom to 115 but didn't make much of a difference.

Hello I have a problem with site https://sellercentral.amazon.com, some parts of this site doesn’t work in Firefox, so I should use another browser. 1. When I want to download a form, I choose ‘’print’’ but nothing happen 2. I can’t report abuse in Amazon, because I can’t open non of the options with Firefox. I changed settings but nothing happened. You can see my setting in Attach. Please solve my problem, I use this browser in IOS in iPad. In Android or Windows, it’s ok. Thanks.

Using the latest version of Firefox on Android mobile – Huawei / EMUI 12.0.0.149 Normal browsing, not using Private.

Several tabs are open, all specified to show Desktop view. But when I re-open the browser (while it's still running in the background, e.g. if I'd been using a different app or just hadn't looked at the page in a few mins), pages automatically refresh in Mobile view.

Additionally, the "Desktop site" toggle can get stuck: Shows Desktop being on, but the page is in Mobile view and if the button is tapped again, it just keeps refreshing in Mobile. The whole app has to be restarted to fix it.

Ideally, open tabs would stay in the specified view (Desktop) and not refresh automatically. Bonus, if there were also a master toggle to select the view you prefer all tabs to use.

I'm having trouble with settings in Firefox (Android 13), running on a Google Pixel 5 phone. The settings screen is unreadable (all empty/white), apart from section headings. Please see the attached screenshot.

A recent update has broken the ability to upload images. I am on a Pixel 7. Firefox has full rights. I tried clearing cache. It is not a particular website. This one for instance, allows the option of uploading images to attach.to my question and it doesn't work. Hoping someone has a fix so I can keep using the browser.

I'm not able to upload files to certain websites using Firefox on Android.

When selecting a file for the phone's file manager, the file upload simply not starting.

However, Firefox on iOS doesn't have that issue.

Firefox version used is the latest one and it is the one from Google Play.

Tried another browser and it works great.

Firefox recently got so much slower than normal. Usually it will take 5-10sec to load a full page .Now it loads very slow that I don't know how much time it takes to fully load the page.please help me with this problem. Thankyou

The Site Notification for Firefox for Android is broken (don't know if it's just me) I have a notification for IGN website but Whenever I click on any site notification I received it always open a " about:blank " page rather than the actual website.

Despite updating to the latest Firefox version (127.0) and performing a reset, I continue to face high CPU usage issues. The battery monitor reports extensive CPU consumption for minimal use, even when only a single tab is open. But on chrome it is working as expected. Any way i can check for errors in the android app?
