(Firefox Nightly) The tabs and menu buttons seem to have been relocated to a fixed pane on the bottom of the browser window. I can't tell if this was part of an update or some accidental swipe. My attempts to fix this:

Longpressing these ui elements doesn't show any contextual options.

Settings seems to only allow relocation of the url bar top/bottom.

Nothing in the configuration editor (json or xml or whatever seems to cover this, but I am not particularly fluent in browser widgetspeak.

Suffice it to say, tapping tabs and menu (for extensions) is a high frequency activity so having these irreversibly(?) relocated is frustrating.

I am using Firefox nightly on Android. About two weeks ago I noticed that my toolbar got moved to the bottom after some update, while address bar is still at the top. I tried looking for it in settings but couldn't find anything about toolbar, that's weird since I was able to customize it a few years ago when I installed Firefox for the first time. So I looked it up on the internet and they say that it's in Settings/Customize/Toolbar, but in my browser settings instead of Toolbar there is Address bar settings. Has toolbar's settings been moved somewhere else? It looks like in previous versions it was under Customize section.

As of today in Firefox Nightly for Android the buttons noted in the subject line above have now taken up a section of my screen instead of being tucked away in a menu, which is my preference. I cannot figure out how to put it back as I have no need for these to be persistent in any way. Please instruct me on how to reassert the previous settings.

Greetings FF Community, New Samsung Galaxy S9 Ultra tablet running FF ver 127.02 on Android 14. Have no option to customize toolbar or even add the File Menu to the top of Firefox as other resources in Firefox indicate. Using a Finite bluetooth keyboard, ALT key does nothing, using bluetooth mouse right click on empty space in address bar - no context menu appears, enabled in mouse settings. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Screen shots below of laptop and S9 Ultra. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have a Samsung A14.....using an Android 14 operating system. I have Dark mode on at all times on my phone, however when I go online to any sites, it defaults to white screen. I have tried the settings on the phone and in the Firefox settings but it still shows up in white screen. On my old phone, I can get all websites in dark mode so I know it is possible, can anyone help me?? Thanks

I found missing customization option for Android Firefox to be AMOLED black theme, it just gets darker but not pitch black. Or I haven't found the way to do it

many websites don’t have logos appear when a Firefox ios favourite is pinned. they also don’t automatically name properly so pinned favourites are difficult to use.

note— i am currently have more than 2 rows of pinned favourites but many are useless (unidentifiable) unless i can rename them. Ability to rename is not available with 3 or 4 lines of favourites pinned

without pinned favourites readily identified, this browser is unsuitable and i have to revert to using other browsers

Home screen custom wallpaper selection, new themes ( blue, white or smth else ), new open tabs section style. Please bring a few more features like this, because Firefox can be made much more beautiful (I think so). Especially custom wallpaper should come as quickly as possible. This is just one user's opinion, I hope you take it into consideration.

I would like to if and how to select an image from my personal collection of images??

The screenshot included is all I found and it only gives you instructions on how to do it but the only choices you get are from your pictures.

How do I remove ALL google-sponsored shortcuts on my Firefox iPad home page? When I click on a Google-sponsored shortcut and then click on Remove, it removes only that one but then replaces it with another one. How do I get rid of ALL Google shortcuts?

I have the Firefox app on my iPhone. When I click it to open the app, the first thing I see is the Firefox logo on the top left. Below that are eight icons (webpages), seven of which I have pinned. Below that are my "Jump Back In" options. How do I add a "pin" to a webpage I go to all the time?

Having the ability to personalize the browser with custom images would make it more appealing and engaging for users. Could you consider implementing this feature in a future update?

Hello: I’m running iOS 17.3.1 on iPhone. The problem I’m experiencing: I used to see the Recommended by Pocket articles on my iOS Firefox homepage, but they stopped appearing a few weeks ago. I’ve searched for a resolution, but all I can find are the steps for customizing/personalizing my HomePage: the problem is that although I’m signed into my Firefox/Mozilla account and have chosen Firefox as my Homepage for New Tabs, and I’ve signed out, restarted the app and changed my Firefox settings several times, the option: ‘Recommended by Pocket’ ( along with the actual articles appearing on the homepage) doesn’t even appear anymore: I’m at a loss as to locating that option, as well as, again, seeing the Recommended Articles as they appeared previously. Hi I'm using speed dial 2 on Firefox desktop. On Firefox Android I have not this possibility to set custom dials/sites on Start page and new tabs. When I try to use the built-in function I see pages from history. It's a big must and huge update to integrate a facility like this.

1. When we press Home button in the app toolbar, It opens a new tab and sends the active tab in background instead of closing the tab. The correct working of Home button is to show Homepage in current tab. For opening new tab, we can use "New Tab" option. Because of this all tabs keep getting stored in background and it's quote irritating.

2. Same for back swipe gesture, the tab gets stored in background instead of closing. For example, I clicked on an Article in Google Feed, it redirects to Firefox, now after reading the article, I swiped back to go back to Google Feed. Now swiping back gesture doesn't close the active tab, instead it stored the tab in background. Because of this too much tabs gets stored in background and need manual effort to remove the tabs.

So, Fix these two features.
