I'm trying to use a security key for my Vanguard site. I've tried with Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Chrome. I can get to almost the end but get stopped-- I can't get no father to "connect and activate." I get a message saying--"Vanguard is requesting extended information about your security key which may affect your privacy. Firefox can anonymize this for you but the website might decline this key. If declined try again." I talked to Vanguard for help but they didn't know how to help. The key is uTrust FIDO2 NFC. USB-A NFC Certified Security Key. I believe the problem may be that this key will link all my accounts in Firefox ( and will also link if I use any other browser.)

I got the following from the internet: When it says authenticators it means Security Key.

Using an authenticator for one account is safe, but allowing a website to ask for extended information for multiple accounts using the same authenticator can permit that website to identify a link between those accounts. If you are concerned about having accounts linked together in this way, you should either deny extended information when prompted, or use different authenticators for the different accounts. This linkability is based on the authenticators, and not on your browser. If you use the same authenticator with different browsers, websites can still identify a link between multiple accounts. I updated to Firefox 115.14 on my Mac and ALL of my Norton extensions including my NORTON PASSWORD MANAGER AND I WANT THAT BACK or else I want to REVERT to the older version of Firefox. This has really screwed me up and I don't appreciate it at all! The update also blew out all of my extensions...EVERYONE OF THEM. I'm really UPSET at this!!!!!!

I use Mozilla Firefox for work. Part of my work requires I use the GlobalProtect VPN client. When I log on to the VPN, everything appears to be fine. The problem arises when I log out of the VPN client, such as needing to switch to a different VPN.

When I log out of the VPN client, Mozilla slows down massively. I get the following errors when trying to access websites.

PR_END_OF_FILE Timeout

I thought it was a DNS issue, but the change I made previously did not prove to be a reliable fix, and I do not actually know the root cause of what is happening. Firefox returns to normal ONLY after a full computer restart. At this point I am considering switching browsers as, despite Firefox's functionality, it is starting to interfere with my work.

I have used other VPNs, such as Fortigate VPN, and not encountered anything like this.

Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.

I appreciated how easy it was to restore my bookmarks, but I also discovered another problem in the process. When I went to sort my bookmarks by name, it sorted but added in a gazillion bookmarks that had been deleted many years ago. I have no idea how or why this is happening. Again, I need help. This was, of course, what happened when I asked for help previously. Somehow the sorting (by Name) has been corrupted.

I am unable to access Spectrum.net. I was able to access until a couple of days ago. Now I get the error "Feature Unavailable This feature is currently unavailable. Please try again from home or contact us for assistance. IDID-4000." I have contacted Spectrum and since I can access from Edge they say it is your fault. I really don't want to use Edge. Can you please help? Thanks,

Firefox is labeling *.CSV downloads as "Firefox HTML Document."

I don't see *.CSV files in the "Applications" list for file handling.

The mime-type on the download is set server-side to "text/csv".

Windows SSO Has been enabled and working for about two weeks but today randomly it is now prompting me for my login information again and the device compliance or AAD Join status is not passed through to Azure Sign-in Logs.

I am on Version 129.0.2, I know it came out recently but I dont think I updated today or atleast I wasnt aware it did.

I am having a reoccurring problem with the Credit Card auto fill. Until fairly recently, the auto fill feature worked just fine. However, for the past two months, I have been having troubles with it.

Auto fill option show up when a credit card payment form is on the page. I click the card I desire to use (I only have one, so it makes it simple) and no information is populated into the form. I repeat it several times, and nothing happens. I am left having to enter the card info manually.

I know, not a big deal (First world problem), but it is a nuisance for a tool that used to work great.

I’m encountering a problem with my website, https://themonak.net/game-etruesports-tech/, after the latest Firefox update (version 118.0). The site was functioning perfectly before the update, but now several elements are not displaying correctly. Specifically, I’m seeing issues with text overlapping images and other content, which makes the site difficult to read. Additionally, the overall layout seems misaligned particularly on the homepage and blog pages where elements that should be centered are now shifted to the left. I’ve also noticed that the site’s loading times have significantly increased compared to other browsers. To troubleshoot, I’ve cleared the browser cache and cookies, checked the website’s CSS and JavaScript for errors, and even ran Firefox in Safe Mode with all extensions disabled, but the issues persist. The site renders correctly in Chrome, Safari, and Edge, so this appears to be specific to Firefox. Has anyone else experienced similar problems or have any suggestions for resolving these display issues? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am on my iPad trying to update Firefox and Safari so I can access my chase credit card account. I am not sure what is stopping it. I downloaded the correct software for each and then nothing happened. Help please!

I don't know how GoDaddy got onto my computer but I know that it came through Firefox. I'm 89-years-old and not great with computer technology. Does anyone know how to get GoDaddy off my computer? Will it disappear if I unsubscribe to Firefox? Please help. Thanks.

I used to be able to download an .ics file directly from a Gmail email, then click on it in the download folder shown on the top menu bar to import it. It would automatically open my Google calendar and import the event. NOT NOW! I got rid of everything Outlook, only want Firefox and Google. What do I need to use, to get my .ics files to work properly again? In the screenshot, you can see I associated it with Firefox because I did not know which app to use that is NOT OUTLOOK!! Since some days Firefox stops working. My query appears in the field but when I click on Enter nothing happens. I have tried to repair, to delete the cookies, to desintall, nothing helps. I therefore keep Firefox only for some websites (my favorites as mail). I do all other researches on another navigator. Do you at least have an explanation ?

Good Morning, I have always used Firefox for my online banking. I could pull up my bank, put in log in information, put in my Authenticator code and I would be in. Now.... After putting in the authenticator code it gives me a white blank page with the tab Submit Form. Over the weekend with working with the Bank, trying all types of scenarios, closing cookies and history, shutting down the computer, etc. they suggested installing and using Google Chrome and I was able to get it to work. My question.... I still tried Firefox and I can't get it to work....did something change? Did I mess something up? I am ok with using Google Chrome just have always used Firefox.
