I am using the latest version of firefox (128.0.2 (64-bit) on windows11. When I open more then one music source, short interruption is done on the music. For example when I am listening musing via youtube on one tab, I am opening another youtube tab. So when I started the sound from the second tab, the sound from the first tab is interrupted for a while (100-500ms). It is not related youtube, I examined that situation with radio streaming channels via start-stop music. The result is same. While playing music goes on from Mozilla browser, I opened music from also chrome without interruption. Also more tabs on chrome do not interrups the playing music from Mozilla (opening more sources or single sources from chrome is not interrupting) The interruption is occurs inside Firefox (between tabs). I am developing a website, frontend using react, redux, typescript. The same page that is taking let's say x seconds to load on Chrome, Edge etc., is taking 4x-5x to load on Firefox. How should I fix this, any help would be appreciated. From what I understand "Layout Reflow" is what is taking the most amount of time.

Hi everyone, I am using a ThinkPad with AMD Ryzen 7840u and the integrated radeon 780m gpu (Windows 11). Via a Lenovo docking I am connected to a screen with resolution 3440x1440.

Sometimes when using firefox, all browser windows suddenly go blank (white/black screen). It mostly appears when a video is playing (e.g. the website from framework laptop (https://frame.work/at/de/products/laptop13-diy-intel-ultra-1) causes the issue very reliable... In the screenshot attached this website was running on the right side of the screen.

I tried the different drivers, the official ones from Lenovo and the latest from AMD over several months now. The issue appears on both driver versions, sometimes more sometimes less. I also tried several troubleshooting methods like resetting firefox and so on...

When I do click into a blank browser window the window comes back to life. Sometimes I have to minimize and maximize all windows to make them viewable again.

Any ideas how to get rid of this behavior?

I like to keep my sidebar open with a list of my bookmarks because I have a LOT of them. I have always kept it open and then today for some reason after a reboot of my machine, Firefox will NOT keep the sidebar open permanently. I can see the sidebar button on the address bar, and pressing this button will reopen the sidebar, but I don't want to have to reopen it all the time because it doesn't save my size settings. I have looked at the JSON file where this setting is supposedly stored and nothing looks wrong. I even deleted this file (after making a backup) and nothing changed.

How do I get my sidebar to stay open so when I start up a new window, it is already open and I don't need to use the button or the keybind?

Something isn't right with Firefox formatting especially when I'm in my Email system and Facebook and probably others . . . not all of the marker and colors are appearing but the photos look OK.

For example, what I am typing here . . . the letters are not a consistent "black" . . . some letters look sort of faint while some are full black and OK. Kind of hard to describe but it indicates that something is not completely working properly.

Hello, I need to preserve the tree structure of my tabs between Firefox sessions. For this I use the following process : 1) While Tree Style Tab is displayed in the sidebar, I "Select All Tabs" ; then I "Bookmark Selected Trees" ; this creates a bookmark folder (let's name it "2024-07-24 -- Foobar") containing all my tabs, and the tree structure is preserved thanks to the ">>>" TST adds in font of the bookmark names.

2) Now, in another session of Firefox, I display the Bookmarks in the sidebar, andI I "Open all as a Tree" the folder "2024-07-24 -- Foobar". All the tabs are loaded, as well as the tree structure, which can be verified when Tree Style Tab is displayed in the sidebar.

Well, till now everything works fine, as long as tabs concern web pages. But when I tried the same process with tabs showing local files ("file:///D:/.../..."), things went wrong : Firefox prefixes ALL my file names with "about:blank?" ("about:blank?file:///D:/.../..." is displayed in the search bar), and all the tab show a blank page.

I suspect Firefox cannot load the local files, as it generally shows the "about:blank" page when it cannot load a page. But, if I try to "Open in new Tab" an individual bookmark contained in the folder "2024-07-24 -- Foobar", the local file is correctly loaded and displayed. So the problem seems to be linked to the interaction between TST and Firefox (but, as I said previously, only for local files, not for web pages).
