Cannot use the hours dropdown on Calendar Widget in Mozilla, when I click on the hours, the dropdown appears for half a second and then dissapears, so I cannot use it. Works fine with Edge and Chromium. OS Ubuntu 24.04. Tried private mode and disabling add-ons - only one I have is UBlock. When inspecting the console does not show any errors.

after creating a new profile, and copying everything in the root directory to the new profile, including search.json.mozlz4, the default search engine setting does not get transferred over and is still set to google

about a month ago youtube was only letting me watch videos in 720 or 360, as of about a week ago i only have 360. i've disabled every single extension i have and i have firefox version 127.0.2.

i'm not having this issue in edge, so i assume it's firefox specific. anyone know what's going on or what i can do?

• Firefox 127.0.2 (64 bit), Windows 10, all extensions disabled.
• Tested also with a clean portable version (same Firefox version).

In private mode, on Google Images, large images (in the preview pane: if you click on an image in the search results) are sometimes (but not always) blurry. This is not the case in the "normal", nonprivate mode.

It works fine on Android, and other browsers also work fine. I have had this issue for a very long time now, but only now realized that it's a private-mode issue.

Example, which is reproducible for me: Search "site:linkedin.com new york" on Google Images and pick an image with a sufficiently large resolution.

David, here are two screen shots (ss) to clarify my issue with email and a third regarding another issue (see below).

Number one ss shows what I see when I go to Thunderbird. I am allowed to delete if I wish by first marking the email and then clicking delete. If, however, I wish to view the message, Number two ss appears. I cannot delete the message without going back to Number one ss as that option has now disappeared. This was no problem on my old computer.

The other issue is related to the above. I have over 250 emails without being able to access them (see Number three ss). On the left upper side is the number of emails I have, but only six old emails appear, something that is confirmed in the upper right frame. No matter what I do, I cannot access them.

Unable to export Firefox bookmarks. When I go to 'Manage Bk Mks' it states 'no items' (See attached Print Screen) yet all my bookmarks show in the left hand pane.

Background (2024): Created my userChrome.css file, on my desktop, 4 or 5 years ago when I was using Windows 8.1. At best I am an experimenter with userChrome. Last year, due to another problem, I had to update to Windows 10. So far, so good. My userChrome file held through the update.

Fast forward: In May I had a hard drive crash (total DOA) and had to buy a new desktop (Dell) with Windows 11 (I almost regret that), 64-bit. Also using FireFox 127.0.2. After more than a month, most of my software and files are working again.

Current problem: My userChrome file is not working as it used to. I had it backed up to other places, so I know it is not the file. I am missing the “tabs bar”; the one with the FireFox icon at the far left, then (in my case) a Google box, and then the “+” for Tabs.

That bar is missing and I can not figure out why. I suspect something changed in Firefox. I do not see how Windows 11 (god forbid) would do anything like that.

I can not create additional tabs or move between them.

I suspect that the “solid” black bar after the Bookmarks toolbar(s) may be involved.

My “colors” seem to be OK and the location of everything else is acceptable with the exception of the “Find in this page (Ctrl+F)”. The ‘magnifying glass is in the correct place on the second bar but the box to enter data is at the bottom. The box used to be just in front of the ‘magnifying glass’. Not as critical as the “tabs bar” but annoying.

Don't see how to attach my userChrome.css (as userChrome.txt). I can supply the file or post it.

Can anyone make a simple suggestion for a simple senior citizen?

Every time I use YouTube on Firefox it feels like a mental torture. It starts off with micro-stutters initially - annoying but nothing crazy. After some time the loading speed of the website and the videos themselves increase dramatically. And eventually it becomes unusable:

• Scrolling feels like the website is running at 30 fps
• The videos take several seconds to load
• It also takes multiple seconds to catch up when you select a specific moment of the video

The only solution so far has been restarting Firefox entirely, just close and open and pray. Then the problem comes back after some time.

Solutions I Tried:

• Disabling AdBlock (didn't work)
• Enabling Hardware Acceleration at all time (didn't work)
• Uninstalling unwanted Extenstions (didn't work)

All of these problems disappear when using Chrome or Edge.

After years, I changed my default browser to Firefox instead of Safari. However, in spite of my careful searching and attempts to solve my problem(s) with preferences and reading help FAQs, I am unable to resolve the main issues. I am unable to go to LinkedIn, either my own page or anything else in Firefox. It goes to the page and remains stuck trying to log in. I can copy the url address and paste it into my Safari browser bar and all proceeds as it should ad I get logged in, etc. There is also an issue with my NYT digital account. Sometimes Firefox acts normally, signing me in and allowing me to read articles and so forth. But often, capriciously I would say since it makes no sense at all it will arrive at the lage and for an instant I'll see the article, or video, and then the page will go blank. Reloading produces the same result and I am unable in Firefox to see the content. If I go to the content on Safari, all is fine. I am seriously considering returning to Safari as my default browser. What is going on here? Thank you.

Dear Support. My Mac audio settings are set to output to channel 11 - 12 of my multi-track audio interface. However, Firefox's audio output only shows up on channel 1 -2. Can you help?

Hi, I can't open my gmail or youtube in Firefox. I run Norton Security and recently signed up to their 'clean up' software, I think this may have removed google cookies? I can access mt email by installing Chrome but I don't want it on my pc. Help!

For about a couple of weeks, there has been a lot of delay between what I type and when it actually appears. It's maddening! I have not changed any of my Firefox settings. I did a 'refresh' about an hour ago. I am not seeing any network activity that I cannot recognize. I d/l'd 'Malwarebytes' and ran it..."no threats". MS Defender has always been on & protecting me. I have never had this situation occur before and am hoping for some help (5 to 10 seconds to wait for what you've keyed in is not fun).

I'm using FF v. 127.02 and would like to delete recent bookmarks that show up under bookmarks/search. I would like to disable this feature.

It seems to be a very bad idea for privacy oriented browsers like FF. to store such info. Anyone including the kids can use my computer and see my search history. Several folks have tried various fixes without success.

Hey all, Before I go to far, here... Firefox version 127.0.2 (64-bit) Windows 10 Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045 Extensions - Malwarebytes browser guard.

What I've done: Cleared cache, history, etc. etc. ran multiple system scans restart app restart windows

So how do I keep Firefox from opening pop-up for about:config? That's right, There are pop ups that firefox allow to open new tabs, and its the about:config page.

Also, every time I start typing out google in the address bar auto suggest fills in googleleadservices or something like that. I already went through all the same steps above and more. I originally thought it was just opening one of the last pages I went to, but if I've "cleared" everything as per the way firefox has it set up, why would it have any history of what the last page was?

Recently I've notice a large amount of advertisements popping in most of the sites I visit on the Internet. This is particularly frustrating for sites where I pay to be a member, like the Ney York Times. I'm not sure there is any function in Foxfire to help me with this problem, but if there is I'd like to know about it and how to use it. Thank you.

Hello! A tech rebooted my computer and all files were saved, but this person failed to do a backup of my browsers. I don't think I was logged in to any session in Firefox, but my bookmarks and passwords were saved.

Is there any way I can recover that information? I already tried and there seems to be no other sessions than the current one saved.
