Hi,

my firefox has been creashing every 5-10 mins even in troubleshoot mode. Please help. Here is a list of the crash IDs for tonight:

Is it still possible to sing into Lockwise on my iPhone? Have attempted using two different Firefox accounts without a completed connection. After entering password the Get Started page returns asking for login

For a number of months, I have not been able to update firefox to my Linux system. I download it and opened the downloaded file, opened various files, but nothing happens. I have tried using various methods to download and update it, but I continue to get a message that update is available. I'm currently using 121.0.1. I have a number of download files in my download folder, such as..."/home/jim/Downloads/firefox-128.0(1).tar.bz2" I tried to uninstall and reinstall "How to remove Mozilla Firefox from Ubuntu"

   sudo apt remove firefox.
   sudo rm -Rf /usr/bin/firefox.
   sudo rm -Rf /usr/loca/firefox.
   sudo snap remove firefox.

and then this "Install Firefox" First, add the Mozilla signing key $ sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 6DCF7707EBC211F. And then install the latest version of Firefox with this command: $ sudo apt install firefox. These commands seem to complete normally, but I continue to get "update available" messages. I give up. I've done everything I can think of. Help would be greatly appreaciated. Jim

If watching any video in full screen, upon restoring Firefox back to "normal view" the entire program changes its position on my monitor. In regular mode (IE; not full screen) the position of the program on the screen - flush with my top and bottom panels - but NOT full screen is unaffected when closing and re-opening Firefox. The change in screen position is only when going from full screen view to non-full screen mode. OS: Ubuntu MATE 22.04.4 LTS 64 bit Firefox Ver: 115.14.0 ESR 64bit

Hopefully someone can help. I will post this in the Ubuntu MATE community forum as well.

Pressing Alt in Firefox in Linux (Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Linux Mint 22.xx) brings up a top menu, which is hugely annoying as I'm always trying to to a window action if I'm pressing Alt.

The suggested solution is to go to about:config and change ui.key.menuAccessKeyFocuses to "false".

But this keeps reverting itself. (Between every other reboot?). Alt will again bring up this menu.

How can I permanently disable this shortcut?

I am trying to change my email preferences and the following is occuring: 1) from my account, I select Email Communications, which takes me to 2) https://basket.mozilla.org/fxa/?email=cswaim%40jcrl.net and that prompts me to sign in 3) after signing in, I am displayed https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/newsletter/recovery/ 4) I enter my email address and I am sent a link via email https://clicks.mozilla.org/f/a/8zrp86jZnVL2dfBjXU6Jvw~~/AAQRxQA~/***stuff deleted*** 5) this link takes em to step 2, and the loop continues.

I don't seem to be able to get all information to go to my primary email address, some goes to a secondary email, which is inactive.

I have Firefox 129.0 64 bit on 2 laptops, Laptop2023 and Laptop2024. I would like Laptop2024 to match Laptop2023. If possible, would like to copy the Profile, or at least the Bookmarks. The web articles direct me to Help options which do not exist. I do not want to reset anything on the sending laptop.

I have instructions on how to copy bookmarks from years ago, but Firefox has changed so much that they no longer work. How to I copy with the current Firefox version? If possible, email bjedrick@verizon.net.

Hi everyone,

I recently updated my macOS to Ventura 13.6.9 along with updating to the newest Firefox Nightly; now whenever I try to launch Firefox, it just hangs and will never load the start page. If I give it about 5-10 minutes, it will eventually load the favorites bar, and then when I click into the address bar to type, it hangs again. If I give it another few minutes, I can type but hitting enter/return, nothing happens.

If I restart my MBP and hold shift to boot into safe mode, Firefox loads perfectly fine with no issues or hangs at all. I'm just not sure what is different that would be causing it to hang when booting into regular mode?

Intermittently find browser open on its own @ homepage without any action on my part.

I have a subscription to the FAZ and have always been able to read it in Firefox. Now that I have a new computer with the latest Windows 11 and the latest Firefox, I can no longer open the page https://zeitung.faz.net/. But it works fine in Google Chrome. Please tell me which settings I need to change so that I don't have to change browsers

I got a new Macbook Pro recently and set it up by basically copying my iMac onto it. All works great. Except that the MBP doesn't show up with it's synced open taps on my iMac or my iphone. The iMac doens't show up on the MBP either.

Have I maybe copied some setting that makes the two machines (iMAc and MBP) thinkt they're one and the same? How can I "separate" the devices so that they show up in each other's Synced Tabs lists, respectively?

I received a notice when trying to download : We can't connect to server at downloadzip.wolfgangsvault.com . It was suggested that I check that Firefox has permission to access the web ( I might be connected but behind a firewall). Please help . Thanks!

So i'm using the latest Nightly and have for like 4 days this issue, it never happened before and just after one update it started to happen. I already have set gfx.color_management.native_srgb to true. When I open firefox in troubleshoot mode it is working fine, but when it's normal and I disable all addons and extensions and themes - issue remains
