On my new samsung A55 installed Firefox for android and when opening a new tab, searching in the main search bar (preference is set to google) and then selecting the google search result, instead of the page opening up, a new tab opens up with the same search results. Any way to fix this?

since the last firefox update I cannot upload pictures to my blogs on blogger.com using my windows 11 computer. My Windows 7 computer with engineering software that won't run on Windows 11 still works fine with firefox and blogspot but I haven't allowed that computer to be updated by firefox. I did try blocking the shield to allow blogger to be exempted but that didn't help.

Hello, I have developed an addon, which is working fine on desktop as temporary extension, but when I try to install it after zipping, firfox says, it is corrupt and cannot be istalled. and second, how can I use my addon on android firfox. Can it be loaded as temporary extension as desktop version. Please guide.

Hello. Periodically I need to connect to my employer's VPN. Whenever I do, all of the open tabs in Firefox will not refresh or connect to new websites. This is especially troublesome for pages that refresh periodically like when viewing email. New tabs open webpages fine. I have tried using a "hard reload" (Shift while using the Reload button) on the already-open tabs as well as clearing the cache through the Settings menu. I've also tried changing the proxy settings in Network settings (Configure Proxy Access to the Internet; No proxy, Auto-detect proxy settings for this network, Use system proxy settings, Manual proxy configuration)

Any ideas on how to prevent this problem in the first place or fix it when it happens?

After the last ESR update to Firefox I am getting this error message when logged into my Google email account. I switched to MS Edge and not having any problems.

I have a whole series of filters attached to my main inbox. After I added a filter to many, it won't process the filters and it won't let me move messages to the local folder it belongs in. This has been going on for a while and I was hoping updates would fix it, but it continues to screw up. Please let me know before I get to frustrated and try to convert over to Outlook for my business email.

Hi, I'm having a lot of problems with forms, and also on commercial sites when I'm trying to purchase items. The buttons are not working, I'm unable to scroll through subsections of a form and drop down boxes are appearing behind other parts of the forms.

It's been doing this for about a month now, I was hoping that a patch would have been released by now to sort the problem. Even this form doesn't work properly. the contact me button doesn't work.

Thank you to David & Toad-Hall who kindly worked to get my Thunderbird to download my messages from Juno in a series of support messages in mid-July.

I have worked with KW, a computer help person at my senior center. I have a follow up appointment with KW on Fri 8/16, 1 pm MDT. Last session KW succeeded in re-setting the STMP server port to 25 and the POP3 server to 110. See screen shots.

This did NOT enable Tbird to download my messages from JUNO. There was a' change, Tbird would no longer SEND messages via my Juno account, earlier it would send test messages. see 3rd screen shot

Like Toad-Hall, KW is suspicious that the last message Tbird downloaded from Juno 6/26 that directed me to reset my password in Juno was malicious. We reset my password and Juno & Tbird both open with the new password I set up directly from the Juno webpage.

KW suggests I ask you if it is possible to deinstall & reinstall Tbird, Might that restore Tbird to function? Would I lose the contents of my saved messages in folders?

I really love my Thunderbird! I like to work off-line, I like storing my files on my computer computer.

When i try log into office.com for example i get the attached error, i have troubleshot with MS support, they cannot resolve it, the websites works on newly installed browsers, but the two installed browsers, safari and mozilla do not work, cleared cache, history etc and also reinstalled, no luck, please advise re the issue happening on firefox and if you can resolve it we will contact apple for the safari issue

ms believe it is a browser problem which it could be but two browsers stopped working at the same time and only newly installed browsers that have never been on the mahcine work, reinstalled old browsers do not work

When I use firefox for the first few minutes everything works great, but after about 5 minutes the browser stops refreshing old pages and will not load new pages. If I close the browser and reopen it the same thing will happen... works for a bit and then stops. I have cleared browser history and cookies and this did not help. Any advice?

Forming paragraphs with left hand margin in block form. Whenever I type an outgoing message, the left hand margin gets chopped up. I want the margin to always be in "block" form, in the same manner as this paragraph, where the left-side margin sentence structure matches up. Right now, the computer is making the left hand margin non-existent.

I have updated to 128.1.0esr (64 bit) and now I can't see the content of many sent messages. The content does not appear neither in the message panel nor when I open the message in a new window. If I try to forward or reply to the message it's empty and has no recepients and no subject - like a new empty message.

I want outgoing messages to display as block form on the left side. It now ends up being chopped up with no particular margination. I have no idea where to go to choose this option.

Please can someone help. We have a chromebook which we use thunderbird to send and receive emails. We are having trouble finding attachments to attach when we send emails. Can someone tell me where to find them. We have them in our files on the chrome book when we type an email and then select attachments we then can't find them. we have tried everything, before we used to save them to linux then this would then show the attachment and we could then attach and send. For some reason this doesn't work anymore. Sure it's a setting issue somewhere, if you could point us in the right direction that would be great. Regards Graeme
