When I type in "arivify.com" the response is an error message that another website is embedded in it, perhaps "giveawayoftheday.com? Or is Cloudfare part of the problem? When I receive an email that has a link FIrefox opens without any of my settings. This also happens with Firefox pop-ups, which indicate I don't hae certain products, such as Web Advisor, even though I do.

I guess he first question is why a new iteration of Firefox is opened when I already have it running.

I am trying to set up an existing Thunderbird email account on a new hardrive I can't remember my password and it does not give me the option to reset password. It wants to send the reset verification code to the email I cannot access without my password I've downloaded Thunderbird email pinned to my startup. When I open it up the 1st dialog box wants full name, email address, and password. I can't go any further to get in to my existing Thunderbird email account.

I can't connect to Amazon.com. I keep getting the following error message:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.amazon.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

Error code: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

I think this is a problem with Firefox. Any suggestions or should I switch to a new web browser?

Hi, To who it may concern, a big thank you. I am a longtime Linux Firefox user. I had a secondary password, but somehow it has been deleted. I have changed my primary password and I have full access to Gmail, Youtube and other Google pages. My email address has always been the same for many years. It is recognised by Firefox when I type "My account on Firefox" though I am not allowed to enter another secondary email address.

Corel asked me to do a screen shot of the issue: Attached When I look at the changed screen, There is an icon infront of the Web address line that looks like a robot. When I rollover it this statement comes up: Browser is under remote control reason (Dev Tools) All of the address bar is inpink. daThis is still frustrating. I do not like to use the browser when something else appears to be in control. I have MacAFee and run a scan but nothing shows up? If developers are following my browser, I should beable to turn this off.

As of Sunday, Thunderbird can no longer reach my ATT server to download email. It has behaved for ten to fifteen years. Last time someone at ATT fixed it. I have been on the phone or on screen with ATT most of my waking hours since Sunday. (In the process I lost my internet, my landline, my cell connection, etc.) Everything is restored except the connection between Thunderbird and ATT. Everyone thinks changing my password will do it. Done it four times. It gets me into the ATT mail. I have replaced the password in Thunderbird settings with it to no avail. Is there anything you can think of? Not only is Thunderbird more attractive than ATT, I have thirty years of mail boxes there, a continuation from Eudora. I will appreciate your wisdom.

I recently pinned Firefox to my Taskbar. When I right click to choose a task to perform (e.g. Open New Private Window), Alson with the list of task choices, there is a long list with the heading "Frequent" of sites that I have visited. So far, the on;y way i can get rid of the items in Frequent is to right click and "Remove from this list" which is time consuming and annoying. How do I get rid of/stop this list from showing

Can you please explain/investigate/rectify the fact that everything has disappeared from all the Thunderbird folders (In, Draft, Sent etc) on my laptop. I am jenny @davidbrownsundials.com and if I was not able to use my husband (david@davidbrownsundials.com),s laptop and the gmail account I use on my mobile, I would be totally stuck. I can write emails but no evidence remains. The best I get is a quick flash then everything disappears again. Help! I would be very grateful if this massive problem can be solved. The download process is invisiballs. It won't start no mattet how much I retry, will get completed exactly the nxtimes I tried after hours without my knowledge callage.

Every time I start my computer and click on Firefox it opens with a blank page, so I have to restart my computer and open Firefox again to see all my shortcuts and recent activity. Very annoying!!

When editing a local PDF on Windows, the save button and Ctrl+S both open the Windows file explorer save dialog instead of just saving over the original file. The Windows file explorer save dialog would be an acceptable extra step, except that the location sometimes defaults to the last place you saved a PDF. So if you opened a new PDF in a new directory and want to save over the original, you have to navigate to the new PDF's directory from the last directory (which can be a hassle if the new directory is many folders deep).

So occasionally when I'm paying a hair less attention I save edits to a PDF in a random folder and my original PDF stays un-edited and I have to hunt down the edited PDF in said random folder and move it to its correct spot manually, which is annoying.

Solutions I'm looking for to smooth out the confusion:

A) Ctrl+S or whatever just overwrites the original file with no dialog. (and down the line, a save-as button mayhaps)

B) Always have the Windows file explorer save dialog open at the PDF's directory location.

The PDF editing is already fantastic, this would make it functionally perfect (for me)!
