I am currently on Ver 115.12.2 (32-bit), but I've had this problem over several versions. I recently downgraded from the 64bit version (for a different reason), it had the same issue.

Old messages in the Inbox are listed twice, including those that have been read. New incoming messages are not duplicated, messages where I've deleted the duplicates are not again duped. Messages that get filtered to or moved to folders are not duped. Old messages that are in folders are not duped.

I have several email accounts in TB, and I only see this on my most active- of course! I have compacted all folders many times and rebuilt the Global Database with no effect. I tried opening in Troubleshooting mode and they are still duplicated. It is a POP account.

I cannot receive or send any emails. Server is not authenticating. This is a sudden fault. Thunderbird is updated to 128.0.1esr (64-bit). Opening Thunderbird shows message "Authentication failure while connecting to Thunderbird imap.gmail.com”.

What is the fix for this?

I'm using version 129 of Firefox for Android on a Galaxy S23+. I've used Microsoft Authenticator before to sign into Firefox Sync and Firefox Account.

Today it won't accept the MS Authenticator code. I also tried one of the backup codes and that didn't work either.

With either option above that I tried, I'm directed to a screen that reads: "Did you use the system camera? I often run into issues with PDFs in Firefox Linux. They either appear totally blank (typically after suspend/restore), or they appear with the desktop background showing through (as in the attached screenshot).

Hard refreshing the page doesn't change anything, opening a new tab and opening the PDF again doesn't change anything, opening a new window and loading the PDF doesn't change anything.

It renders correctly in Chromium.

Firefox 126.0 using the recommended performance settings on Mint 21.3, nvidia quadro p620 using the official nvidia drivers v535.171.04-0ubuntu0.22.04.1

I don't think you can help at this point. I followed the prompt to update Firefox and got the message that the platform version '128.0' is not compatible with min version>=128.0 or max version<=128.0. After following the instructions to uninstall then re-install Firefox, and even with the aid of a tech, I now have lost 90% of my bookmarks. Disappointed and not happy with Firefox at this point. I guess it's a done deal now and I just start over. Fortunately, I didn't have super important things bookmarked.

I'm using Thunderbird 128.0.1 on Mac OS 14.5, and recently (not sure when exactly), none of the normal messaging options like reply, reply-all, or forward are available. I still can start a new message, though.

i change to firefox from chrome as chromes caused everything to hang. now my facebook games are saying that firefoxdoes not support the games. ie the browser you are using does not support this platform. i have search resolutions and tried them all and dont know what to do. do i have to go back to chrome?

I update my Thunderbird yesterday afternoon to the newest version. Now when I click my icon to launch it it launches a second default gear icon with the hover text reading "thunderbird-esr". I purged the install and reinstalled with the same issue. I'm using Pop!_OS on Wayland if that helps.

Help! Since the last upgrade I can't log in to several of my sites- the sign-in page refuses to load (e.g. https://ottawacitizen.com/) and several site Captchas refuse to accept any answer. In all cases, Safari has no problem when I switch to it (I hate their interface compared to Firefox). I'm on macOS 12.6.6 desktop.

Dont know how it happen but "https://ww25.waterdropswiter.xyz" has taken over comes up everywhere when tying in web adress and has give it self free access to everything

I reinstalled my windows and signed in to my new firefox and it is not syncing anything. On my phone though all the bookmars and stuff is saved. (Yes I am signed in) I tried using waterfox as well but it didnt work either.
