Tell me how to fix the problem I described. I'm using Linux Mint Cinnamon (21.3) on my two Dell Latitude laptops (E6420 & E6430) Another question regarding the Firefox browser is how to contact a insecure web site manager that I have no telephone number for. I shouldn't end the sentence that way.

Thunderbird used to have a panel on the left-hand side of the screen which listed folders such as bin, sent, etc etc. This has disappeared and I do not know how to access folders such as bin, sent, trash, important etc.

I get the following notification: Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to nz.mail.yahoo.com. Peer’s certificate has an invalid signature.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE

FF constantly develops problems logging into web pages; I will enter the correct u/n and password and click the login button, and it simply won't log in, it just refreshes the page and asks for my log in again. The same u/n and password work fine in other browsers. And nothing I've done has fixed it--uninstalling all my extensions, refreshing Firefox completely, clearing all cache data--nothing works.

FF also will develop problems with the lastpass plugin, where I also can't log into my vault via the plugin--the same thing happens. It will just refresh the log-in fields without logging in. I can only fix that one if I go to the Lastpass website and log in there--then suddenly the plugin works, until I log out of LP again.

Frankly, the problems with FF only seem to grow over time. I love the privacy focus and it being a Mozilla product. I hate how everything in it constantly breaks functionality.

I have added a new microsoft business email address. I can only receive emails but I cannot send any. There is a problem with the smtp settings I guess I'm using Thunderburd I have tried, with the help of a Microsoft representative to change all the possible settings and read the articles to guide us trough

but wasn't working for sending out emails I have even tried sending emails to different providers and different email accounts and it is not working at all. Even with the help of the Microsoft specialist. Can you Please help me out configure thunderbird so i can use my email recruiting.office@globaldisinc.com it is a microsoft business email. Also, the Google App Launcher and my Google Account Icon are not working either. I wonder if this is an issue with my desktop, which is 5 years old now. That's not too old, but sometimes the cursor freezes for a few seconds, which is annoying.

I have cleared my cache and restarted the desktop, but that didn't help. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

In the past, I could highlight many emails, then shift-delete. Now they come back after the deletion. Is this a new process? Is there now some other way to delete many emails? Hi, after a phone update this morning (Samsung) my phone Email has stopped working..?? Also my Thunderbird, on my PC has suddenly changed colours to an awful orange. (Top of page and selected Emails) Anyone got and ideas how to fix these two issues, Cheers, Ron.

Up until the latest Firefox Nightly release, I could click on the '+' to open a new tab and immediately start typing the URL. Now, however, I am required to select a container type, something that is useless to me. Is there a way to disable this?

UPDATE: Never mind, I found the setting for Enable Container Tabs, which needs to be deselected. Why is this an opt-out?

Slow loading sites. I've cleared cache, no sync options set (not available to change sync. It just continues to stick in bufferering) & have no additonal tracking blockers running. The other 4 browsers I use are working fine. Sonits definitely a Firefox issue.

• also, sporadically I'm not able to edit a bookmark after saving a page. The edit option will not appear & clicking on the bookmark again doesn't open the bookmark. I've also uninstalled & reinstalled. Samsung Galaxy Note9 with latest non-beta build using latest Android. I like using Firefox over the other apps so any help is appreciated.

If an URL already have many tags or longish tags I can no longer see suggested tags when starting to type tags. Image example illustrates. This URL already have the following tag list:

Old behavior was if started to type ", spi" it would list suggestions:

Easy & clear to select from.

Now it lists all already existing tags before each suggestion:

Who thought this was a good new feature? It adds nothing, I can already see existing tags, why would I want to see them repeated for each new suggested tag (while not actually seeing the suggested new tag)?

How can I turn this *!$&@! off and return to old behavior?

Hello, This morning, after I opened Thunderbird, I discovered that in my "Sent" folder, the content of all of my sent emails going back a few years were missing. The headers with the recipient names and subject were fine. Just nothing in the message pane, and also there were no attachments that had I sent to some of the recipients. In a internet search of similar problems in a previous Thunderbird forum, one person advised to right click the problem folder and then click "repair". After doing that and restarting the program, I was now shocked to discover that my latest "Sent" emails going back a couple of years were now completely missing. I opened every one of my various folders but could not find those missing "Sent" messages anywhere. Even files that "sent" folder that I had moved to other folders the past couple of days did not have any content in their message pane. However, my messages that I sent today were fine. My PC is an HP with Windows 10. My internet provider is Comcast, and I have used Thunderbird for many years as my email client with no problems - until now. The missing "sent" emails are all business emails that I sent to various clients, so I would really like to get them back if possible. BTW, my PC did an automatic hard shutdown during the night for what I think was for maintenance and to load some Windows updates. Therefore, I had to do a full start-up this morning. I wonder if this could have caused my problem?

let's keep it as brief as possible.. i have no idea what the hell the degraders of cloudflare are doing, for the past YEARS all sites that required cloudflare worked just fine, and now i lost access to multiple sites on firefox because of the cursed "are you human: captcha loop" i'm looking for extensions, i'm seeking github codes that i don't even know how to execute. the loop keeps demanding me to change the browser to a chromium.. isn't this supposed to be treated as a targeted cyber crime? from google against mozilla? how do i fix the captcha endless loop?

I was wondering if it would be possible to make an extension or something that can change about:config values and provide an easy accessible menu to change specific settings that I need regularly.

For example, recently I am quite often setting network.http.redirection-limit to 0 because website keep redirecting me to login pages and that often helps preventing it. But having that set permanently is really annoying, so I have to visit about:config twice each time. Now if I could pin that setting in an easily accessible menu somewhere, that would be very neat.

When searching, I found that extensions could modify some browser settings but that seems to not include arbitrary about:config values.

Any tips and thoughts would be appreciated.
