I've just installed TB 115.6 on my MacBook to see if I like it better than Apple Mail. There is one thing that seems weird to me. Fonts are displayed larger in the Read window than in the Write and Reply windows.
These are my font settings: Default font: Helvetica, size 14 Composition, HTML Style: font: variable width, size: medium
Now if I send an e-mail to myself the font looks larger once I receive the message than what it looked like when I was composing it. And then if I reply to this message the font becomes smaller again in the Reply window.
The font in the Write window has the exact same appearance as in Apple Mail where I also defined Helvetica 14 as the default font. So my suspicion is that the fonts are somehow scaled up in the Read window. But why? And how to change it so that the same font looks the same everywhere?
I can not send my emils
bold textFreezes up, cursor won't move. Have to shut down, and restart several times to get it going.
I am unable to send out messages when responding. There is no button to with send and have tried everything possible.

Most of my emails are going to trash, once in a while I may get one in my inbox, not very often. I now just go to trash for my emails, I am not very tech good but have tried and my son also tried, but we couldn't fix it, we probably may it worse. So I am coping by using trash as my inbox. I know this is not a permanent solution and would very much like to know what I did wrong and get it fixed so I won;t screw it up again. Thank you for your time.

I'm having issues with Thunderbird E-mail. There are folders disappearing and re-appearing in different locations. Also, "duplicate" folders are being created and stored in the e-mail folders list where I keep messages I've received and saved. I've been with on-line assistance through Centurylink help trying to find out what is causing these problems. I have exhausted Centurylinks help when they asked me for the Filters in/or that Thunderbird uses. I'm unfamiliar with where or how to find them. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

The attendees claim their settings are correct but between the 2 systems (Thunderbird and Outlook) there is an hour discrepancy. This is causing clients to miss my meetings. Please assist.

After updating to TB 115.5.2, we keep getting the following error message when we try to send or forward an email: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The server is not responded. No such domain at this location. Please check message recipient "xxxxx@gmail.com" and try again. I get this error on all emails we try to send. We get this same error on my spouse's computer also that we use Thunderbird with. I have already checked settings with my ISP and the POP settings are correct. We can use other mail servers such as outlook.com and gmail.com using Thunderbird. ISP is cis broadband. have checked firewall, have uninstalled Thunderbird and re-installed without solution to problem. ISP has checked port to make sure it is not blocked.
incoming emails do not seem to be effected.

Hello Community Please help me to start again with Firefox from scratch. Last Month I downloaded Thunderbird email app and set up with a new email account using mailfence. Now I find that my mailfence email address was only a free trial and I have to pay to continue to use. I now wish to set up with my original free email with gmail. I did uninstall the Thunderbird app and then installed from fresh. Unfortunately it still has the mailfence email remembered in the Thunderbird App. How so I start again from scratch using my gmail account instead of the mailfence account that has now expired? Thank you in anticipation of you help.
At the "Search Messages" window (obtained with a Find) the "select all" button does not work (for me).

Since yesterday when Thunderbird updated, I either get an alert sound for new email all of the time (even when Thunderbird is closed and I don't want to be alerted) or none of the time, if I turn the sound off (meaning even when I have Thunderbird open, I get no sound alerting me of new email). How do I set it so that when the program is open, the alert sound works, but when the program is closed, the alert sound does not interrupt my other activities (like work video calls)? I had a huge problem with M Outlook. In addition it has locked me out of my Office 365 package and I'm not getting help or support. Luckily I had backup completed before the problem. I changed to Thunderbird (using pop3), which I find very good. The back up is approx 8 GB but with many duplicates which I need to clean up. When I click import it seems to limit the file size to 2 GB. How can I import this backup file into Thunderbird to enable me to access the emails, clean up the many many duplicates and reduce the size? I await help, Thanks in advance

I'd be MORE THAN happy to make a donation to support you guys, but I am NOT happy about all the info I have to provide - and frankly I'm bot going to be bullied into giving info I don't want to. I donate to Wikipedia and they don't ask such intrusive questions - so why do you? You say that less than 2% of TB users donate - this PROBABLY the reason why they don't...!
And the fact that there is no direct link to ask somebody ask question about this subject, is really frustrating.
