Hi, my Firefox on my iPhone was updated on the latest version (116.0), and upon opening it after the update, I realized all of my open tabs were completely gone! This includes the private browsing tabs, which typically persisted from opening to opening of Firefox. Every tab, both normal and private browsing, is now gone. How can I restore them? I've *never* had any issues with any prior Firefox iOS update before!

This is critical to me; thank you for your help in any way, whether that be it through my synced account (which also lost the open tabs, from what I can see) and/or anything else.

I recently changed my password on a gmail account, and tried to change my password in settings on my iphone. When in the settings for email, I was not able to directly enter the new password in the "re-enter password" field, but instead I got the message that the "settings" wants to use google.com to sign in. Apparently the only option is to "continue" and when I do so, it says Google can't sign me in because my browser (firefox) does not support JavaScript or has it turned off. How do I turn on JavaScript or otherwise circumvent this problem? I have not found another way to get my password updated on my iphone. I tried changing my default browser to Safari to see if I could get it to work but that did not help. i have used firefox for years on my iphone with no gmail problems.

I work with older model routers that use older TLS 1.0/1.1 on the weekly basis at various sites.

For the past few years, Firefox iOS could not view my router login page after log in. But with the current patch on iOS 16, I can finally view the page on my iPhone instead of finding a laptop with Firefox on PC and change the about:config TLS to the obsolete version in order to view this page.

Thank you for the changes. It saves me some headaches when I have to go to different sites to inspect older version of the router login page.

bold textReally don't think he can Google has given the hackers a false location certificate. Giving my IP address so when I login I may be in Little Rock Kansas City. But I'm always in Farmington Arkansas that it will never show. Google has given apps to help me not sync any of my data just only there's. Made it so I could not get rid of those apps. Having three email addresses two of them there's hidden. So you could actually just say I am pissing in the wind.

I’ve been trying to install an ad blocker for FF on my iPad and I’m stuck in an endless loop. I navigate to the add on store and it says I have to install FF, even though it’s installed and set as default. The store has the “open” button, not install or download. I have a 5th gen iPad running 16.6. FF is at ver 117.0.

I ran across a bunch of posts about addons not working but they were from about 4 yrs ago. Here are some screenshots of what happens. Are addons prohibited on an iPad?

Thanks in advance

All of a sudden my Firefox icon has vanished from my iPhone. I'm positive that I didn't delete it, it just vanished. When I click on a link, it follows the link using Firefox. But if I initiate a search, I am only able to use Safari to do it. How do I get my icon back so that I can always be using Firefoc?

I was going to switch from Chrome to Firefox on my iphone, but FF is telling me I need to set up Touch ID/passcode to use the saved passwords feature. I don't want to do this and don't see a way around it. Is there any option to decline this? If not, I guess I'll be stuck with Chrome for now! Couldn't find an answer to this anywhere. Would love some help.
