A couple of months ago Outlook.com changed its "look." And instead of highlighting text, right clicking and and having the small MS window come up where you can click "paste," their own window came up and "paste" was not one of the options. So I had to use Ctrl v to paste.

But Outlook just added "paste" to their window. But it's not working in Firefox. But it does work in Chrome. Outlook will never address this, so what can FF do about this?

When I "wake up" my computer (windows 11) after being away from it for a while, I get this series of notifications from firefox in the lower right hand screen. They tell me about various emails, news stories from news sites, posts on social media etc. They whip by (one after the other) far too quickly for me to read and respond to them. While some of them may be of interest, they really aren't useful and are ultimately pretty distracting. The longer I have been away from the computer, the more they are. How do I shut this feature off completely?

Hello, I have after upgrading Firefox, when I go to full screen mode the notes panel goes away and after I removed the full screen mode there is a large frame on top, I showed it in the screenshot.

These problems have been going on for five years now. A forced update I did not accept turns ff into molasses, freezes -pages slowing sys. So have to restart, and when reopening and expecting my previous sesh, I get a session from a week ago. Cannot find the JSON file and it is unclear how to get it to load even if I found it. I have done it a few times but very difficult.

I have tried searching online and the suggestion is to "Undo" command on the "Organize" menu of the Library window as described in this link: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1198441 but I cannot find any Library window.

Please advise step-by-step how to retrieve accidental deleted folder in FF 112.0.2.

When I search directly from the address bar, the search always defaults to google.com/....whatever I am searching for. But even though my region is set to United Kingdom, my search results are definitely not the same as if I were to navigate to www.google.co.uk and then search for the same string. Is there any way for the default google search to use google.co.uk rather than google.com Thanks?

I get an messages staing that my browser won't allow me to paste from my clipboard. I'm able to use this function in other application, Firefox seems to be my only issue. Can you instruct me how to allow the "paste" feature.

Minor issue but some help would still be much appreciated here.

On some sites, when I click the login field, Firefox suggests a list of possible identifiers. Among the suggestions there is one that is the true identifier I need to use the others are mis-typos that I probably have typed in error some time in the past.

I want to clean-up that list to keep just the true identifier. How do I do that ?

When I go to Settings > Passwords I only see the true login identifier. The other items in the list of suggestions do not appear. So it seems that it is not there that I must do the cleaning-up …

[I am appending an example with a list of login identifiers that Firefox suggests (the correct identifier is the last in the list) and the information that is stored in Passwords (only the true identifier is listed).]

Firefox strips https and www from URL (default behavior)

i.e. https://www.domain.tld turns into domain.tld

Problem is that it is two different sites, which makes connections to https://www.domain.tld imposible.

Setting browser.urlbar.trimURLS ti false does nor change this behavior.

I work for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and we are responsible for keeping track of our work hours. I have always been able to log into the government website to enter my work hours until recently. Now, when I try to log into the site to enter my work hours, I get this message, "custom javascript error ell is null". When I click the OK button the site wont load. What happened?

I'm now running in troubleshooting mode with NO extensions.

For weeks my drives have been churning and I've been running out of resource, seeing the hour glass, graying screen, etc.

I finally closed the windows with countless tabs, disabled some extensions, and it got better, but I still have problems, even in troubleshooting mode.

Task manager still shows phantom tabs. I had 4 tabs open, it showed 7, etc.

And strangely, I now see Kaperski Native Messaging with the tabs in task manager: https://www.file.net/process/plugin-nm-server.exe.html

Closed that. Have 7 tabs in one window, task manager shows 11 tabs.

Am so confused.

Most of my devices was from Bucharest, Romania Al of my decivies was Windows and one phone Iphone

I can tell you a lot of stuff from that account , so please help me and change the email to recover the firefox account.

I'm currently running Firefox v 112.0.2 on Linux. I've had a theme installed for a while now that I really enjoy. It's a minimalist theme I found on github and then I topped it off with some colors that suite my desktop theme.

The ONLY issue I am having is with the dropdown menus. I can't see any of the list items and I cannot for the life of me figure out where to modify these colors. Searching has only gotten me more confused.

Photo is attached. I'm hoping that changing the text color here is an easy fix. The colors are all fine in other dropdown-ish menus, like bookmark folders for example.

whenever I purchase an item online, the autofill option (I assume) shows my location as Virginia. This might be based on an incorrect use of my PC ip address. However, I want to change this to the correct state (NY) in which we live. How do I do that?
