I usually work with my computer hardwired to my router. For some reason, this is not working anymore and now I have my computer connected via wifi. As soon as I changed from cable to wifi, Thunderbird started to ask permission to connect to my Google account every time I open Thunderbird. Sometimes I have to grant permission several times. At some point, it stops and I can keep on with my work until the next time I restart my computer and open Thunderbird. Then the cycles starts all over again. Any ideas¿?

I'm on Thunderbird Nebula 128.1.0esr 64-bit. I use IMAP and I have multiple accounts in my Thunderbird configuration. I have Google Workspace for our business which I can received and read email by IMAP, but I cannot send. I also have a personal Gmail account and that can send and receive.

Yesterday Google experienced a global outage and as best I can tell it has somehow screwed up the OAuth2 Session / Tokens for some Thunderbird clients. Over on Reddit there are other users reporting the issue and it appears to be a bigger issue on Workspace accounts. It does not affect the entire Workspace domain. In our business, I have other users who are on Thunderbird and can still send/receive email on the same Workspace hosted domain that I am having issues with.

I have gone into Settings > Privacy & Security > Saved Passwords and removed the entries for the account that I'm having problems with. That did cause Thunderbird to spawn the browser window to Google to carry through with OAuth2 token approval. That got me back into receiving email, but I still can't send via SMTP.

When trying to send I get the following dialog, but clicking Enter New Password just does nothing and the Dialog just reloads again. I attempted to add a new SMTP Server in Thunderbird, but that never prompts a new OAuth2 dialog for that new server and same Dialog box appears.

Don't know where to report this, so doing it here.

When trying to sign in on Twitter (https://x.com/i/flow/login) using the Firefox password manager, it does not show or give a prompt to input Username/Email address. The password input works fine, just not the first prompt (Username/Email address). The only thing it shows it Firefox Relay.

Today while using the email got message to compact folder so i did and left it, after 30 min came back with a message that TB crashed, reopened it and found that i can see the emails subject but they don't open. Searched the form and tried the repair option but after it finished it deleted all the emails from 2018 till now and i can see the emails of 2017 only (the first year of usage) -i tried deleting the .msd file but didn't help

-Created new profile and copied the inbox folder to it but still can see old emails only.

-- i sent a test email from my mobile to my email and it received it but the emails on the server that was downloaded before the crash are not downloaded again - i did search on email address that iam sure that we communicated recently only and i could see all the emails in the search but when i try to open it its empty

Hello, I'm having trouble moving the spam folder out of the trash. It doesn't have the 'move to' option like the other folders I created. Even deleting the folder through the program doesn't work.

I've already tried deleting and moving the file from the '%APPDATA%\Thunderbird\Profiles' folder, but it didn't work.

The computer was formatted for other reasons, and the problem still persists. Is there any solution for this?

When I am supposed to get a google sign-in from Thunderbird, all I get is a blank white window on my computer. I another computer it works. I have tried a lot of settings and cleared a lot of passwords and cookies. Nothing I have found after hours of trying has helped.

I hope there is something easy I have overlooked.

Basically when I click an image, it shows up in full screen instead of on the side like I'd like it to. Once I click the 'x' at the top right, it has appeared at the right side like it's supposed to. Is there a setting I can change to stop this from happening. Everytime this happens, the preview is always low quality so it looks bad. An example is the Panda image provided. Thanks.
