Everytime I load Firefox the bookmarks sidebar is not shown.

Navigating thus View => Sidebar => Bookmarks I can bring it up. It will stay visible for the whole of my browser session. However, after I've closed this session and started another. the bookmark sidebar is missing again.

How can I make the bookmarks sidr be available all the time?

FF 127.0.2 OS Windows 11 Pro v 24H2 Build(26100.994).

I need to create a pdf file to share with an agency in another country that does not have Firefox. I am unable to create a simple pdf - all of the files are automatically Firefox pdfs. All attempts to convert this file to a regular pdf have failed. Please help!

I had to do a new install of Windows 11 and logged back into Firefox and can't find my old bookmarks. I got to this point and don't know how to retrieve old bookmarks:

C:\Windows.old\Users\meljo\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles Please help me.

There is an issue with 3 extensions: 1. Briskine. 2. Simple Gmail notes. 3. Boomerang. This issue is taking place only when Briskine is active and only on Firefox.

When Briskine is active Simple Gmail notes does not display at all. Boomerang does not display correctly so there is no access to the full screen and options.

This only happens with Firefox, not with Chrome or Edge. Also, it is a know issue that's been going on for a while. I wish it could be fixed. Thank you Adam [removed phone# and email from public support forum]

I have in my laptop a external webcam a Logitech Webcam C930e. The webcam is a HD webcam with 1080p. But in Google Meet in Firefox I can only configure it at 720p but in Chrome I can configure it at 1080p. Why have that behavior?

I have a 2nd identical "other" folder located in the "other" folder. They are somehow linked to each other, so that if I try to delete a bookmark under the 2nd duplicate one, it deletes it from both. If I select something in one folder and then click on the second one that selected item shows under the second as well. I don't want two folders but cannot delete or change anything or it deletes the original as well. Other than restoring an old bookmark backup to replace this defective one does anyone have any solution to fixing this? Thanks Cheers

When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? Thanks.

So, this is going to be an incredibly weird question, but is anyone else having this issue? As of about two days ago, any time I try and load a video on youtube it will refuse to load for upwards of 30 seconds, however if I toggle the new stable volume option off/on it instantly loads. It will then play for about 2-3 minutes or more depending on video length (sometimes way more) before the buffer bar will stop entirely, take over two minutes to load the video again, then keep playing. More often than not doing this multiple times per singular video. Often times it won't even load anymore at all and I am forced to refresh the page and toggle the stable volume once again.

I've tried disabling every single extension I have, including ad blockers, restarting the entire browser, and using a different account, and it still happens no matter what. However it is not an issue that occurs on chrome or edge, so I'm at a complete loss of what is causing this. Looking up this issue comes up with next to no results, so is it possible this is a youtube issue or is something seriously wrong with my browser and I need to re-install it?

I can no longer use my camera on firefox, firefox displayed some message about camera when we were trying to chat, but I missed it, I have granted relevant permissions on the site, that we use reularly. The camera icon on the address bar appears red, and I noticed that in Windows security, it lists firefox access requests, but shows no way to grant these requests.

I am not tech minded so please if anyone could keep it simple, I would appreciate it.

When I login to my main Firefox browser and then access a website within a short while the browser screen opens up again automatically. In other words, a second window which is very irritating. How can I stop this from happening?

As a longtime user of Firefox, I had a nice setup where after the start page, clicking on the Firefox icon would take me to a page headed "Firefox" in large letters. On that page I had placed the icons for my frequently used programs. Each of the small "icon boxes" had menus that would allow entering a URL so that when clicked, the desired app would open. I was exploring MS Bing, mostly because I like the pictures they put up each day. It looks as though a "new Improved" version of Bing brings along the new MS AI component. Together they seem to have removed my Firefox setup or hidden it where I can't retrieve it. By using Firefox settings, I was able to remove the Bing URL. Good riddance!, but can I retrieve my page of links to most-used programs? I don't know where to look for that. If I have to reconstruct it, how is that done. Or how can I start a replacement. Hi, I am experiencing an issue with desaturated icons in the toolbar and tabs of Firefox. I don't think any extesion may be causing this problem and i have already tried reinstalling and resetting Firefox, but this did not resolve the problem.

For many years I have used the ability to set shortcuts to website on the Firefox home tab, using the method given at: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-items-on-firefox-new-tab-page#w_pin-unpin-or-remove-a-shortcut.

However, today, when I try to edit a shortcut link, I do not get the 3 dots menu by right clicking on a shortcut tile.

Is this a recent change, a bug, an issue with my installation (which has been stable for many years)?

How can I get back the functionality back?

I am using Firefox 127.0 (64 bit) on Windows (Windows 11, all up to date).

Dzień dobry, Po pierwsze chciałbym zapytać co mogło się wydarzyć- kilka dni temu po próbie otworzenia przeglądarki wyskoczył jakiś błąd, przez co musiałem zainstalować przeglądarkę jeszcze raz. Efektem tego jest usunięcie wszystkich zakładek i ustawień. Jeśli jest taka możliwość to prosiłbym o poradę w jaki sposób mógłbym przywrócić wcześniejsze ustawienia. Zacząłem ponownie dostosowywać przeglądarkę i napotkałem problem, a mianowicie po zainstalowaniu rozszerzenie nie pokazuje się on na górnym pasku jak miało to miejsce wcześniej. Jeśli nie ma możliwości przywrócenia wcześniejszych ustawień i zakładek to proszę o pomoc w dodaniu rozszerzenia do paska.

wise.com is a site I've used for a long time with Firefox. Now I can't log in. Access is still available from the Chrome browser, but I prefer Firefox

Hi, the site "https://pixabay.com/" is suddently extremely slow with mozilla. The pictures don't showup or take many minutes before you can see them. Normally only white boxes show. The same site (pixabay) with the browser "Opera" works perfectly. I always use mozilla and since a short while it just doesn't work with pixabay (a site for royalty-free images).
